Cats are Liquid - A Better Place is a 2D platformer about a liquid cat and her friends.

Play as the cat, in a place created just for you and your friends. You get to go on a nice adventure with them where nothing goes wrong and everything is perfect, as long as your friends stay there, right by your side.

This game contains dark story elements, including strong feelings of abandonment and detachment from reality. This game is not for children.

This game is absolutely incredible. I'm honestly surprised this kind of a game is a mobile game, much less free. The artstyle is amazing, and the gameplay feels smooth, albeit hard to master. This game does deal with some very dark themes though, and it handles them incredibly well, so be warned if youre going into it. I personally drew my own meaning from it as a mental health perspective, but I won't spoil the story too much. All in all it's an incredible game and I can't recomment it enough.

This game is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING 👻 the Characters are so adorable, It's so cool that there is a whole story to the game (Plot), And honestly the game is pretty simple. You just have to go through the levels looking for your friends kind of. & the ads are once in a blue moon 🔵🌛 I'm super happy about that. Yeah, so there's an interesting plot, and well, there's a lot to this game! Sometimes the levels are kind of difficult but that's what makes it good! I totally would recommend to someone! ❤

Great game. I love the graphics. Everything is so cute! But on world 6 halfway through door number 4 the background started flashing really fast and the gears were on the top layer. I have a picture I can email to the creator (if they see this). But other than that I love everything. Its challenging (but not so challenging its no longer fun). Its an amazing game and I hope you (if you're checking reviews to see if u wanna play it) definitely should play.

I didnt expect it to actually have a story!! I downloaded it without looking at anything other than the fact that it was a platformer... I haven't gotten very far yet but the controls are easy to use, goals are very understandable and the story so far has got me hooked!! My only complaint is that after closing the app once and reopening it's now laggy as all heck. Y'all should check it out, I absolutely love this game.

Great concept and amazing execution. I was really sad that I finished the game because I've gotten so attached to it. It runs very smooth, unlike the other version, and has no problems with lagging. The storyline is easy to follow, but I quickly got bored with it, frequently skipping over it. Overall, great game!! Keep up the great work, devs!

Awesome. The ending, the mechanics, everything is masterfully crafted. The story is good, the way the game combines seperate mechanics is good, the ending, oh man. The ending. Stuffed full of realization after realization. Lovely story of a cat, her friends, support, loss, loneliness, and places. I'm trying my best not to spoil anything. A bunch of stuff could be better, but whatever.

I like the game a lot, but the controls could use work. I release the cloud option but nothing happens. When I touch some of the others they won't respond at all. (3 star) (Edit) I found out it was because holding down buttons messed others up, the controls can use work, but sense I finished the game I realised it wasn't as bad as I first thought. (4 star)

I love this game, and the first one, but I have 2 issues.. The controls are a little weird, but I can get used to them. And 2, on world 8 you have to control the square and move it over the triangles, but it doesn't work and the square gets stuck. I especially can't beat world 8 lvl 3 because of it. Please fix this!

Man, why does cute cat game gotta be so sad? I played the predecessor, a light in the shadows and loved it. I played this one, same story. The textboxes carry even more charm, the story is sad, but cute and definitely a thinker. The level design is awesome, and it's still getting updates in the form of bug fixes! Only problem is the controls can be a bit clunky. Overall, great story, fun yet challenging levels, charming experience. Now stop reading and download it already!

AMAZING game. everything flows super well, things are introduced in a way that gives the player time to learn what they do, and nothing feels terribly overpowered. a loose story and well-made levels keeps the player hooked and playing for hours. The only issue I've seen is a few bugs with the air/cloud mechanics, where the player can get stuck sometimes or airways don't work properly. Besides that, it's great!

I really enjoyed it! Reminded me of old Kongregate games. The story was interesting, the controls were pretty solid especially even considering it's a mobile game. All in all a mostly enjoyable experience. My big complaint however is the speed. Not movement or anything, just the general pace of the game. So much of the game centered around waiting that it made it frustratingly slow at times. Waiting on hazards, platforms, cutscenes (dragged on). Got frustrated almost forcing myself to finish.

I played the original game a long time ago on steam, I like this, and I think the mobile port works well. Im not sure if the gas button works, might be a little too much for my right hand to do. Maybe that just needs to grow on me. Theres also some speedrun potential here with the other cats. Maybe beating the level faster than them gives me some extra points. Quick bug report: in the parts where my cat doesnt have a face, turning to liquid causes my face to be visible for a brief moment.

This game is as great as the last one. Graphics are ever so slightly more complex that it still keeps the simplicity feeling while being a bit better. The story is sad and is easier to follow than the previous game, yet both are great. The controls and a bit easier, but there's a bit too many abilities in my opinion. This is also significantly more difficult than the previous game, 10/10.

Game looks and plays great, way more polished than the last entry, but I have a couple issues. Firstly, it really irks me to no end how small the control stick is. I had to consciously keep my thumb from going as far as it wanted. Secondly, the game currently lags tons on my phone even with post-processing off. Honestly it's a 5 star game but those two things kept me from enjoying the game fully, so it'd be good if you guys could fix them. Thanks.

I like this game a lot. I love how the game keeps up with its repetitive gameplay by adding new gimmicks. Every new game mechanic was so good and I never knew what to expect. It was overall very clever and love how two of them are a cloud and ice relating to the theme of "liquid". Even when the gameplay got a little complicated the controls still felt simple, smooth and intuitive. Only a few problems but so minimal that the're not worth mentioning. Definetly a 9/10, loved it.

This game has been recommended for me for months. I finally downloaded it and I'M REALLY GLAD I DID. My only complaint, controls are a little unresponsive sometimes. Other than that, this is an amazingly crafted, minimalistic, aesthetic platformer adventure. I love it very much, i look forward to the second game when i complete this, and i hope they make a third. AND FOURTH!

Ok... so there are a ton of mixed reviews on this app. I bought the game because I loved the last one, and here's my thoughts: Graphics: cool new effects and little features that are pretty entertaining to explore. 4/5. Controls: one of the bigger issues. The awkward wall climbing is probably the most noticeable. There's some improvements, but I found myself missing the last game's simplicity. 2/5. Gameplay: there's still a compelling storyline, but it sometimes got a bit swallowed up. 3/5.

Great platforming game with fun mechanics that can make some really intricate levels. Not too hard, but some levels are kind of difficult, I'm done with worlds 1 and 2 and it's a blast! Also so far a great story, honestly the only downside to the game is that the graphics look a little weird, but even those give it a great indie feel. 9.95 out of 10
