I applaud that there is no stamina system and that ads seem to be mostly optional viewing but for some reason of you play enough in a day you just get an ad after every race and that's pretty annoying. May not break the experience, and I understand why it must be done, but by golly, combine that with the absurdly long time-gating mechanics and it basically forces you to stop for a while. That might be a good thing though, that part is up to you.

I used to love this game. I redownloaded it recently, but the ads were more intrusive than I had remembered. Being forced to watch an ad that I had to wait a while to skip (if it could be skipped at all, for that matter) after every race got old really fast; I uninstalled the app again within fifteen minutes. I understand that you have to pay the bills and all, but inserting that many advertisements and having them run long enough to make restarting the app waste less time is a total turn off.

I wrote a review on Sonic Dash a while ago, and this fixes most of the problems that that game had. It controls the same, though. Swipe left, right, up, or down to switch lanes, jump, and slide. But the issues I had with Sonic Dash are gone, most of them thanks to the different gameplay of this game that comes with being a racing game as opposed to an endless runner. The issue I had with the game feeling slow is now gone, with faster gameplay that feels incredibly satisfying. A big problem that I had with Sonic Dash was the very small roster of characters, and the fact that I had to pay for Big and Classic Sonic. That issue too has been remideed with a giant character roster and no microtransactions to unlock any of them. I have been having one problem though: sometimes, when I start a match, It will kick me out and not let me play another match until my prebious one is finished. Please adress this. The only things I want are more songs and the ability to choose what song plays. Very good overall, highly recommended.

I, personally, think this game is a great time passer. You can race every time, luck out and get characters you want, learn their basic abilities and easily get used to newer ones, and the reward system isn't punishing for getting 4th or 3rd. Instead of losing 23 trophies, most I've lost was 6. The only issue I'm facing that's keeping it at 4 stars is the fact that, after some time of playing, the game suddenly crashed and whenever I try to open it now it keeps crashes after a few seconds.

Not nearly as much fun as it used to be. In the April 2019 update, they've changed several of the power-ups to make them basically useless. They used to be a good equalizer across characters with different strengths, but now they're pointless. All new Android-specific bugs cause the race to crash just before you enter -- but not before it registers you. So, you get kicked back to the main menu, can't play because it thinks you're already playing, and then you lose trophies because your character is probably crashing in to everything on a track you can't see. And this is on a Pixel 3 XL with no mods. I've paid for in-app content on both platforms, but "ad free" doesn't mean there aren't still tons of ads. The latest few updates treat you to ads that bomb out at the very end, and don't register for rewards. Sometimes you have to watch another ad. Sometimes you have to wait for hours.

It's a good game, I like the controls, the characters, the graphics, (ect.). BUT, I think bug, but everytime i try to join a match, it kicks me out everytime I even get to play. And because of that, the game thinks I rage quited and it takes away my some of my rank level. Could SEGA please fix this bug? PS: It would be cool if SEGA added Infinite in this game.

The game is fun and challenging at times. Although, I don't agree with the gold chest wait times and the difficulty getting special event characters. Also, there are way too many hackers ruining the fun of the game. During matches, I've had way too many players going unnaturally fast, immune to all damage and using unlimited abilities. This problem needs to be fixed, because it's quickly ruining this game. Other than that, I love the game and am a big sonic fan!

I've been playing this game for over a year. I really like the simplicity of the competition and that you race with against other people. Unfortunately, they keep updating this game and its caused so many issues with each update. I can be in 1st place and see 3 ghost characters in front of me, I can be in 4th place and mysteriously get attacked from behind, I've see players run through traps like they were never there and the boost barely last now. good game to pass time. needs work

I love this game but there are still a few bugs here and there. For example the hitboxes of the items for the characters, they can hit let's say a thunder cloud thing from movie sonic and it doesn't hit them. No matter how many times you try it doesn't stop them. Another thing is which bothers me the most is the trophy system in ranked. I can be in 1st place and win 1st place and get less trophies than 2nd. I got 10 trophies once when 2nd got 22!? Like how. Fix this but I'd really appreciate it.

Everything is great except for probably the sensitivity of each directional flick. Maybe it's just me, but sometimes the game is very fast-paced and I have to flick to different directions fast and it will sometimes make me flick up when I meant to flick right or left. Another thing is the app doesn't seem to have friendly local play where you can invite a friend to play against. It should really have that if it doesn't and the game will be almost perfect!

Too much going on! There is an ad for everything which is really annoying. But even worse, each screen is so busy with multiple things to click on. It is unnecessarily complicated. The racing game itself is fun and the graphics are great... why can't it be that simple?? This game would be great if you got rid of collecting chests and other things and allowed the option of a simple race! Uninstalled :(

Easy to learn, easy to play, the game is purely battle-racing. It has a small set of characters, but unlike most other app games, they are all obtainable without having to use money to purchase them, but it will take longer. At times it's hard to win because of lag, even on low graphics, but this rarely happens if you have a good internet connection. Overall, it is a well made game, the character balancing is excellent, graphics are sooth, and it's daily specials makes it easier to add characters to your roster without using real life cash.

The game is very fun and race can be very intense. It can be annoying facing opponents who have significantly less trophies than you. If you get 1st, you won't get much. If you lose, you can be down up to 30. Also it would be great if you can disable the tails vault or at least speed up the animation because a lot of people don't use it and the animation of it double cards is a pace killer when just want to jump into another race.

I love this game! Its competitive, fun, easy to play and perfect for killing time. It has lots of events and is still adding on new characters which are easy to unlock. I only bought a $4.99 half off vault for super sonic and now there is no ads ( unless you choose to double up in rewards ) and it seems as though the game runs much smoother after a one time purchase even if its only $2.99. I recommend this game for all ages.

I play this game Free-to-play and it is a fantastic experience. I unlocked most of the characters, and have been able to level them up to be on an equal field with other players. Ontop of that, the advertisements are not nearly as aggressive as other games, playing one maybe every 3rd match or so. The Controls are 4/5. Very responsive, but occasionally it can be annoying to deal with latency when trying to attack an opponent. The Graphics are 5/5. I love the visuals of the game. It looks fantastic for a mobile game, and I love the sonic artstyle. The Music is likewise 5/5. It's a sonic game. If the music didn't get a perfect score, then it wouldn't be a sonic game! Overall, the game is one of the best mobile games in my opinion, with the only downside being that it is forced Online. I can't practice stages in a single-player or offline mode, likewise it means if you don't have an internet connection you can't play.

Game's great, been playing this for a long time. The only two small issues are, first, the matchmaking, sometimes I get put with players either of way higher or lower levels than mine, I find it to be unfair. Second issue is this update I've done for the game, it caused it to slow down. I can't do anything on the game other than stay in the main menu, well, I can be in 'battles', but it's sort of slow. Overall, I do love the game, it's fun, never gets boring.

Overall, I think is a really enjoyable game. Nothing complicated about it. Great characters selection, great graphics and pretty decent on rewards. My only complain is how sometimes you get 1st place but receive less trophies than the 2nd place, and sometimes you get 3rd place and ended up losing trophies. A little bit frustrating. Everything else is good.

The entire game can be summed up with "infinite runner" and not even mention anything specific about it. It uses the archaic full-page video ads between each round and to increase rewards. It has average graphics, regardless of your individual settings. The tutorial gives you a sample map and tells you nothing about how to navigate it before you are set loose against other players with much more complex maps. For new players, it has a very steep learning curve that hardly makes it worth starting. There is nothing overly special about this other than the theme being Sonic. Like you would expect, the entire hook is the theme. Without that, the game would be nothing. Let's face it, it was not made in 2016. Update the mechanics.
