Description of Murder by Choice: Mystery Game

Experience a fully interactive murder mystery adventure set in the present day! The adventure begins when Carla Page, a young journalist, receives an unexpected invitation from billionaire Ruben Navarro to join his yearly private party on a tropical island. ✈️ When Carla gets there, she finds herself surrounded by some of the world’s wealthiest, most influential people... and right in the path of the worst storm of the year. But being unable to escape the inclement weather will be the least of her problems as a mysterious murder occurs moments after she sets foot on shore. 🕵 Carla puts on her detective’s hat and dives into solving the crime, but each new clue just raises more questions. Carla soon finds out that murder isn’t the island’s only secret. 🤫

The game itself is one the best murder mystery games I have ever played. I absolutely love it!! My ONLY issue is this... the amount of time it takes the energy to fill up. It is 7 min per 1 energy. That is a bit much. It takes a full night and day into the evening for the energy to be at full... That needs to be lowered to maybe 3 minutes per 1 energy being replaced. 7 mins is the longest I have ever seen in between gaining an energy back. That is all 🥰🥰🥰

It's a good game, but I'm not sure if it's worth the time. I'm able to play for maybe 5-10 minutes a day due to the slow charge for energy. 7 minutes for 1 energy is ridiculous. Not to mention that it gets spent crazy quickly. The achievements help, but you have to be able to play to make choices that unlock achievements, which is where the energy becomes a problem again. And I'd rather not waste time watching ads for 10 energy each just for it to be gone in a second.

Update: Game ended. It was not as climactic as expected, but was still enjoyable. Gonna uninstall bc 'Wedding Bells' is taking too long to arrive and I don't want unised apps on my phone. Really enjoyable. Awesome graphics, solid storyline, and great mini-games intertwined. I run out of energy faster than I would prefer. And lately I get "server not responding" errors and hangs after watching ads for energy - so I get the ad but not the reward 😁. Still recommended for fun gameplay.

I really want to like this game. The graphics are stunning, the storyline is catching and the games are challenging but not too hard. The problem is the energy. I know it takes energy to do things but it takes way too long to accumulate the energy back. I let my game sit for 12 hours and it still was only partially full and then by 4 or 5 clicks it's all gone. The extra energy incentives are practically nothing, you get maybe 5 energy. Or you can pay $ for more

I really enjoy this game...when I get to play it, which is only minutes a day. Not only does energy take forever to build up, but you have to spend it to do literally anything. You're even charged 5 energy for each item you find in the hidden object games! The graphics and story are good enough to pay occasionally to keep playing, but the way the game aggressively strips you of energy to force you to buy more is irritating enough that I'm deleting the app instead.

I love this game! I love the storyline line, the graphics, the puzzles, and hidden objects. I love that the puzzles aren't too difficult but not too easy either. I love determining how the story progresses as well. My only complaint and reason for 4 stars is that it takes forever to get energy and uses so much energy to do everything. I know you can watch ads to get 10 energy, but it takes much more to do one thing. Can't wait for the next game!

Fun game, but it ends too quickly because of the energy. I lose too much energy if I "move too fast," go through the storyline, just about anything in the game, and I have tried to watch clips or sometimes pay for more energy and hints, but it always kicks me off the game. I have just recently updated this app and always update it whenever it's time. I would like to rate it back 5 stars once it's fixed.

I like the puzzles, but takes WAY too much energy to play this game. You can barely make it through one puzzle before you run out. It's an endless cycle of keep paying so you can play. Even if you go 24-48 hours without playing, you only regenerate enough free energy to play for less than 5 minutes. There are other puzzle games out there that you can keep playing for free and only need to purchase extras every once in a while. Don't play this game unless you plan on emptying your bank account.

I ♡ MBC. BUT like so many others my biggest complaint is the amount of energy it requires to complete certain levels. Some mini games are impossible to figure out without tapping around your screen to see what hidden area you need to search next, but you lose 10. Dialogue choice/tapping around shouldn't require energy. The amount of energy used for certain items should be greatly reduced. Potential to be an even better game if this is fixed. Money clearly runs this game which is irritating.

Update: When is the wedding mystery? I really ENJOY this game. Just started playing yesterday, but the main issue is every little thing costs energy, which in turn doesn't last long. I could see if it were five or ten, but when you get to tasks that require 30 or 50, it's ridiculous. I've bought a couple energy packs and of course, they didn't last long. I would love to keep this game, but I can't afford to keep paying. The ads don't grant enough and it takes too long to build back up (sigh).

This is a very fun game and interesting storyline, but energy-based games are a pain! I can get enough energy to play for about 10 minutes every 24 hours. Usually I'll try to gain energy faster by watching ads, but half the time after I've watched the ad, the game buffers and I don't receive the energy, which makes watching ads a frustrating waste of time. Please fix this and I will give a better rating. I really like this game and would like to play more (but no, I'm not spending money on it).

I figured everyone would have a negative comment on this game, use energy too fast , and slow to charge. I will play it till I finish the game, even if it takes 4 months 🙁plus the hint don't regenerate on it's own, u have to watch 3 videos to get just one, or buy them, and it takes 40 energy points just to hand someone something, or so much energy to walk thru a door, that alone shouldn't use energy at all, the rest should use maybe 5 energy at best, I like unsolved a whole lot better

I love playing this game, but the lack of energy is ridiculous. I refuse to pay for more energy, but will gladly watch ads if need be. However, only giving 10 points of energy with each ad is infuriating. The 200 energy points lets me play for 5 mins and that's it. Hoping this will be updated to help with it being more user friendly.

It's annoying how the energies get used up so fast. As you can see in the other comments, people are complaining about it and it's not being solved. They are trying to make you spend money. And it's a waste. There no other way to gain more energy other than time passing or completing like 10 tasks that you need the energy for. The thing I don't understand is why are 5 energy points deducted when I find the listed items. Doesn't make any sense. 5 is A LOT too

This game is FUN but energy doesn't last more than a few minutes, and it CONSTANTLY spins and loads and server is unresponsive. You will lose players because of it. It's so annoying. I'm on fiber internet and no other games I have do this. oh and the way the main character says NavAIRo makes me want to rip my ears off. I had to silence it.

Overall the concept of the game is great however how fast your power reloads is not. Also when you watch a video to reload your power it doesn't always give you your points. Searching through item is finicky because you will literally press on one of the items you're supposed to find and it won't count it for you but will remove the point. Seems a little buggy. The game would be a lot better inexperience if your points refreshed faster I shouldn't have to wait 24 hours to play a new game.

Really great game! Good art, good writing! All of it. I love the choices, the characters, the gorgeous backgrounds. The only complaint I have is how much energy everything cost, and how little game play time you get when you buy energy. I don't mind paying the developers for their hard work. But I shouldn't spend significantly more on a mobile game for 10 minutes of playtime, than I would for a 10 minute game on Steam. I'm excited for the next chapter. But I hope they find a more fair system

Love the graphics and the storyline. Character development is great. My complaint is the energy! Costs way too much for tasks and takes way too long to replenish. I'm not joining a Facebook group to try to win contests either. You don't get much energy for achievements either. You either need to make it replenish faster, make tasks cost less, or hide energy chests (get 50 or 100 energy) in every task.
