In the yuletide legends bonus edition. There's definitely a bug. I'm trying to use the milk key and it helps saying the birds are still on the crate and it won't let me open the crate... cant get past it!! way frustrating!! Please fix it!! Energy definitely goes too fast. Would be nice if it didn't use so much energy when playing this game.

I love the game. Really nice story line. Challenging puzzles. Really nice imagery. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I don't like how long it takes before you can watch an ad to get more energy. At first I had to wait an hour now I'm having to wait 10hrs. It frustrating especially when I really enjoy the game. The game is really immersive (which I really like) so they don't show that you need energy until you run.

I really like this app and most things about it, but it does have some major downsides. One, the energy meter takes a long time to refill and even then the highest it can go is 300. Two, the energy meter gets used so fast, when one action can take 5 or 10 energies to use you can only do 30-60 moves. I like the graphics and how it's set up but finishing a game just takes FOREVER and there seem to be very few ways to get energy without waiting ~20 hours or paying a lot.

This game actually plays better than advertised. The story is captivating, and the challenges are invigorating. The game play is mostly free, until you run out of energy. Afterward, you can take a break until your energy restores, or you can purchase more energy at a reasonable price. There are 3 free hints for when you're stuck on puzzles, or can't figure out where to go next. The hints are the same as with energy - wait for it to refill, or just buy more. Highly recommended.

Energy system is bad. It takes forever to refill, you can watch ads for more but only occasionally, and half the time when you run out of energy and come back you have lost some of your progress having to spend the energy twice. Could be a fun game with better energy management, I might even buy more if the system was more fair and less an obvious push to spend tons, the purchases aren't cheap.

Fun and high quality but the energy system is crazy. I understand the need, but it's impossible to play for more than 5 minutes a day. Sometimes you have to wait 9 hours just to watch an ad to get a couple energy points. And each task, or even finding a single item in an ispy-like search takes 5-15 energy points. I'd be more likely to spend money on the app if I could get into it a little more. But I can't get invested with only a few short minutes of play a day

The puzzles are fun and clever, the stories are interesting and engaging... but there is no way to see on the play screen how much energy I have or use. Does every click in the mini-game cost energy? I wouldn't know, I have to go back to the main menu to see my energy. It's a slimy way of squeezing money out of players just to finish something. I'd spend money on this game if they didn't use such sleazy tactics. Not to mention, 1 energy is gained every 5min and every click takes 3-5 energy.

Just like others, I would give this game 5 stars if the energy system wasn't so horrendous. I would happily continue to watch ads to keep playing, but you're limited on the amount you can watch, so the only way to keep playing is to pay money. Absolutely horrible system. The graphics, gameplay, and puzzles are exactly what I'm looking for in a game, too! It's so fun and engaging, hence why I gave 2 stars. Fix the energy system and I will update my rating in a heartbeat!

Honestly game play is fun, graphics are nice also. I have the same issue though, no energy bar to see what you have. The interruption of gameplay because you have no energy and only accrue after such a long time is not worth it. Perhaps having mini games to quickly gain more energy would help. I'd like to keep playing, but it's not worth it to have to wait an entire day to finish a scene. Sorry but I'll be uninstalling 🤷

Fun game(s) but unable to transfer between phones. If you are planning to keep your phone forever, or the life of this game, then there won't be any issues for you. But for those of us that started playing this on an older phone and upgraded to a newer one, your game progress (including trophies/achievements) and game purchases won't transfer to your new device. This is a big deal for me and the reason for the 2 star review. It's beyond me how that's not a basic function in mobile gaming now.

Great graphics, great puzzles to solve, love the detail and and complexity. But just as others have said, the energy issue is bad. I would like to have the energy bar visible while playing so I know how much I am spending as I go. And replenishment really needs to go faster. It takes about 24 hours for my energy to be back at full.

This is a great game overall. Giving it 2 stars almost feels wrong. However, the energy needs to be fixed. It uses so much energy per action and vary from 1 to 25 energy, there is no bar to see how much energy you have/being used and the ad for energy only gives you 25 and makes you wait hours for another. Glitches in mini games where you select an item and it doesn't register wasting hints. After about 5 different stories, they make you pay for more keys, no ad option for more, uninstalling.

IT's super fun with all sorts of puzzles and good story. Only issues have to do with energy. Even waiting overnight only gives about 100 energy and when you only get 1 action for 10pts it takes a long time to do things. Plus, if you run out of energy right before a cut scene and watch the video to get the points it sometimes skips the whole cutscene.

I like the game and story lines. I agree with what everyone else is saying about the energy. To make it worse, I seem to be having glitching or something. I've played most of the stories, but the one in writing on currently has gotten to a certain point, and now nothing is happening. I click hint and nothing happens, but it takes my energy. I even looked up a walkthrough, and mine isn't doing what theirs showed. At this point, I'm both frustrated and super annoyed.

Great fun and just the level of challenge for me. But, I have just started so too early to say about the whole game. 2 months later: The game just continues to be filled with so many interesting puzzles and the story lines have sequences of panic situations that really get my heartbeat going! (It is a good thing it is a story and not real life depending on my figuring out what to do next before I or someone else dies!) I cannot praise this series highly enough. Adverts minimal - the best.

Graphics are really nice, game play is fun and interesting. The story line is very good, keeps you wanting to see the next steps to continue on to the end. If you can get there, that is! 😆 energy doesn't last long and takes forever to refill. There's not many ways to spend money in the gam, except for energy, so I understand the strategy of making you wait. I enjoy playing! Worth the download and worth supporting the devs.

I would probably give this a 3.5-4 star rating. I just REALLY REALLY HATE games that use energy to play. The storyline is soooo fun. The puzzles are great. The graphics are cool. It's just the right amount of challenging but easy enough to figure out how to progress. I want to sit and play it for hours and hours but I can't! You use up your energy bolts soo quickly and it takes 25 hours to recharge fully. Ridiculous, honestly. You need to make it faster to recharge.

I LOVE the way ads are used in this game where if you watch one it uses less energy for an hour. I play a ton of hidden mystery/escape room apps, and the one major downside of this game for me is that they allow you to go to ANYWHERE you've unlocked, and sometimes you need to go way back to do something. This makes the game so challenging, and all a hint will do is tell you to go back, but then you don't know how far "back" you have to go.
