Description of Fuelio: gas log & gas prices

Fuelio is application to track your mileage, gas consumption and costs. Using this app you can track car expenses, auto service, your fill-ups, fuel consumption, car's mileage, costs and gas prices. You can also use our GPS tracker to save your routes automatically.

🛣 See the overview of mileage, gas costs for one or more vehicles. Supports different fuel types and now also bi-fuel vehicles. Can visualize your fill-ups on Google map.

⛽️ The app will also show you fuel prices and nearest gas stations.

Fuelio: Gas log & costs is using full tank algorithm to calculate fuel consumption. Thanks to this, the app can calculate how many litres/gallons of fuel you have used between fill-ups. When you buy fuel just enter the amount you purchased and your current odometer value. Fill-up will calculate your fuel economy/efficiency, maintain a log of your purchases, and display plots and statistics for your data.
The app provides statistics as total and average number of fill-ups, fuel costs and mileage in a nice-looking, easy to use interface and in visual charts.

Fuelio app stores your data locally but any time you want, you can connect it to the cloud (Dropbox, Google Drive) and make sure you won’t loose your data even after loosing or crashing your device.

Trip Log - GPS tracker
You can manually or automatically track your trips (with GPS).
Register your trip and see its real cost with some summary and map preview. You can also save your routes to GPX format.

Love it. Tracks the expenses, good statistics, reminders and backs up your data as well. Tried others but this gets my vote. Update: since the last update auto start/stop for trips is broken. Not happy.

Great way to track fuel economy and expenditures over time. Nearby had prices is a bonus. I've switched phones since I started using this app, and the data transfers over seamlessly and with very little effort on my part.

12/10/23: You really need to implement some validation for the data entered by users. Some users enter the full amount they paid into the price per litre box, which messes up the average fuel price in area. For me it currently states that the average price for petrol is £27... ??? Please correct this! Old review: Best app of it's kind! The amount of features is fantastic!

Fantastic app. Even calculates fuel consumption regardless of whether you filled up or not. Highly recommended as it is easy to use, simple to understand and has a friendly user interface overall. Very satisfied with the app.

EDIT : is there a way to contact the UX designer, there is one issue that's really frustrating and users would definitely be grateful if improved, thank you. ORIGINAL REVIEW : The best app to maintain your car, been using it for 2 years, couldn't find better. But themes don't seem to be working.

Second Edit: The app works, the user doesn't work. I love how helpful the dev is. The dev is so very helpful. 5/5 :) Edit: The dev or whoever responds via email "Adrian" is very nice. Trying to help and see why the problem happened. It hasn't happened again. I did have my entry duplicate itself, however. And one thing I hate about this app, if the fractions don't go nicely together, the total cost says $18.536 or something. I don't want the third number after the period to show up. And I dislike it auto changing my numbers that I entered. Auto do the empty, not the ones I made a typo with. Always making my data reset. I'm switching to drivvo. Fuelio = crapyio

Great app to keep track of my cars maintenance and paperwork. All of my insurance, registrations and city stickers are due on different dates and so are oil changes and maintenance. That's where reminders come in handy. I also ended up using the app to track my fuel expenses even though I was not planning to. And no adds! Seriously? I wish there was a donate button.

Great app for tracking your fuel mileage - but what is really a standout is the responsive and helpful development team. I was having an issue importing log data from another app via a csv file and emailed the developer for help. Within the hour they responded asking for the file to take a look at it. I sent the file and within minutes had it returned to me with an error corrected that allowed me to import it. That was a huge help and an uncommonly great level of responsiveness and helpfulness.

7 years in use and wow Trip log. I let app auto start trip log on bluetooth connection and it is set-it-up and forget. I would like lots of trip related features and am ready to pay more for the app. Some that would make sense could be 1) Merge with previous or next trip. Sometimes I turn off ignition for few minutes and I would have loved to merge individual smaller trips to one. 2) Option to color code speed or beacon marks say every 5 minutes on the route map.

Great way to track expenses on my vehicles. The continual upgrades are always a big Improvement and are greatly appreciated. I formally said that there was something that went wrong and was not calculating my mileage correctly. It was my mistake because I had entered information in the wrong location. My bad! Love love the software!

Simply the best! I can't believe how tremendous Fuelio is in all aspects while free! I use it for years and keep track of all expenses and reminders related to my car and motorbike. No guessing on how much it cost me to own and use both, plus Google backup automatically done, use on more than one mobile, graphs, favorite gas stations, list of features is endless. All in all the very best out there - and no ads whatsoever. Unbelievable!

I love this app. helps me keep track of everything to do with my car expenses. I only have one issue, the timer on the notification os still incorrect. For example, my drive today. the trip log shows the correct amount of time though. today my trip took about 2h 39m. But, just before I ended the trip the notification was showing 2h 17m. thqt is my only quirk.

Easy to use and navigate. I like the ability to create your own charts. Congratulations to the Developers. Update, I found that I can expense my trips with the easy-to-use in app calculator. Brilliant! It allows the user the choice to use current prices or average prices, also current mileage or average mileage. Very useful!

I've been using this since the very first purchase on my Galaxy S7, S8, and now the Moto 5G Ace. The change to the pop-up menu when refueling simplifies the process compared to the old pop-up menu it had before. As a graphic designer, I think it makes sense adding a menu that slides in from the bottom. Only thing that should be added is an image of QuikTrip as an option when refueling as it is not found when adding a station as a favorite on my gas station list.

I've been using Fuelio for years and it keeps getting better with every updated. Not that it was a bad app to start with but the new features added over the years are great. If you use Fuelio for every incremental expense with your vehicle, the way it's intended to be used, it is a great tool for budgeting and saving money. That's just the tip of the iceberg of what Fuelio can do

Been using this for a few years now and overall it's been really good. I like the new updates and the format changes. Have not tried it for a while but when I took pictures of the reciets, not sure what happens but after sometime the images look like a black screen when you go to view them again.

Nearly a perfect fuel tracking app, except for the inability to specify a gas station location manually, when one has no time to capture the GPS location at the time of fillup. The map shows nearly every station location, but strangely, far less than half of them are activated for selection. That fault is a significant 2 star demerit for me.

I really like this app. I use it to track fuel economy on my vehicles, I always keep an eye on that because if the mileage dropped suddenly without explanation that usually a good hint that something may be wrong somewhere. One feature that could be useful is something similar to a "subtotal" button on a cash register which would allow the user to reset the daily average (while also maintaining the lifetime average) to track MPG changes after modifications, different tire brands, etc.
