Was working ok. Set up first task and then the person rescheduled and I wasn't alerted. I got a message but no notification, until I got an email saying that I wasn't active. Then my session expires the day I'm supposed to get work done and I can't log in due to connectivity issues.

Good when it works and the tasker responds. However, there's no requirement for a tasker to confirm/accept a task to complete the booking. I've been trying to get someone to fix my toilet for days - no show yesterday, now I've booked with someone who hasn't confirmed and I don't know if anyone's coming.

Taskrabbit doesn't disclose cancellation rates or request a review when the tasker cancels. All 4 taskers we recently hired for a move had stellar reviews. Two were great, but one cancelled 20 min before the move and another left/cancelled without a word after finishing less than 1/4 of the job. Taskrabbit offered a $10 coupon for the trouble which was worthless since no replacements were available. Now we are left scrambling and will have to pay more for last-minute professional services.

App takes too long to launch on android - so annoying that sometimes i give up and go to NextDoor instead. Service mostly works, but there seems to be no mechanism to agree the work has completed and that payment should be released to tasker.

It doesn't work. It goes in infinite loops trying to open itself. So I cannot sign up to do tasks. I tried many things to get it to work but it is just borked. Too bad, I think it is a great idea.

App should have a way of writing reviews or penalizing taskers who commit and dont come to the job or even communicate that they are not coming. What a frustrating, disappointing experience. I installed Thumbtack and connected with more professional people. I am not recommending this app.

Can't become a Tasker. Opened app, signed in, went to profile and clicked become a Tasker, website opens, I sign in, get code, and finally Can't put code in because website doesn't proceed to code verification page. Who designed this atrocious application and why do I need to go to an external website? Is the app needed or not? If I have to use the website then what's the point of the app? Please get better UX developers.

I have tried multiple time to log in now. When I reset my password, it says I can't use a previous password. Excuse me but why not? I have been through so many passwords now that the situation has stopped me from working or hiring anyone.

Cannot log in. I've reset my password twice and even with the new password it will tell me that it's an incorrect password. This app was programmed by kindergarteners.

this site was recommended to me. it is great. you can go on view profiles read reviews and book help with any job. I've just moved house so have found it so helpful. I've had help with furniture assembly and mounting a tv. the task rabbit that visited me was excellent. arrived on time, pleasant and polite and did the jobs to a high standard. thank you task rabbit 😁

Despite their claims of work being insured in case of damage, their movers completely shredded the front of my brand new Samsung washer and dryer set when moving it just a few miles to my house. TaskRabbit is completely refusing to cover my insurance claim stating that they can't confirm that the damage was caused by the movers despite my extensive before-and-after photo and video evidence. This scam service cost me over $1,200 in value lost when trying to resell this damaged purchase!!!

Booked a Tasker to help me move. Tasker should up 30 mins late for a 1 hr job. I ended up moving majority of the heavy stuff. The app refunded less than half of the amount. I paid $80.79 to this app to move myself. The customer service rep didn't care and blamed it on me for hiring a Tasker from their own app - who had 4.8 stars. The CX rep called the Tasker an 'individual contractor' ensuring the company/app has no fault. So again, I paid $80 to the move myself because I used this app.

Bradley did the best most complete work for me. He came to the house expecting to do a minor sink caulking job and ended up doing a major sink repair as the sink dropped without support. He was professional, assessed the job and fixed the problem seamlessly. I recommend him for any job you have as he is versisital, talented, smart and I will definitely hire him again- he's the best.

Oleh was excellent. He replaced a ceiling light for me. He was efficient and task done perfectly. I especially liked that he removed his shoes as we have light carpet and I didn't even have to ask him! He also suggested a barrier for ceiling bits that would naturally fall during work. I will definitely contact Oleh again.

I had several taskers put me in to a difficult situation and the customer support can't do anything unlike other services I've used that will find and book someone for you and even keep an emergency network of people. I would strongly recommend against using this app if you value your time or have any kind of time constraints.

Extremely unreliable service and not going to use this app anymore. In one case, appointment was cancelled night before without any explanation. In other case, slot kept on getting postponed. I'm not going to go through this third time.

The calendar does not show up in the app. I have logged out, deleted the app, and reset my phone. Then installed the app again, logged back into the app and nothing worked. I can't get new clients

Confused. It's frustrating that search isn't very specific, for example cleaning specific areas. There's no way to contact cleaners before buying to confirm the request. I don't see what the Tools info is for since you can't filter by speciality or by task! You can't filter by availability. This app did not help at all.
