Description of Glitch Lab

Glitch Lab brings well known effects as well as novel ideas to the world of digital glitch art, following the philosophy of simplicity, power and control of its predecessor apps.

Effects are organized into categories and span a wide array in and around the concept of glitch art.

Glitch Lab is simple to use yet at the same time endlessly configurable. Filters combine to produce endless variations of your art.

Video
Glitch Lab comes with a powerful animation module. Create smooth videos with parameter interpolation between key frames (be sure to activate video from the app settings).

PRO Version
Available as an in-app purchase, the PRO version comes with extra filters, extra parameters, higher resolutions and lossless file saving (PNG).

It's a good app it lets you do lots of stuff to an image, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the app but if you are looking to edit an image with this app then the breakdown in presets and the VHS is a good start.

Cool... Actually, so cool that it kills the storage of my mobile. You can make and save many variants with different effects and leave yourself completely clueless about which one you will go with; obviously for next steps of editing with more other possibilities. It is a plain and minimal application with nothing unfunctional and/or buggy and has the simplest UI. Great app, thanks.

Bought the app after using it for a month. Totally worthit. Many effects are readily available and if you have time, you can make your own effects to your liking and effects you can make are infinite. Very well laid out app and easy to work with. Small nitpick guys...instead of swiping with finger and pinching gestures on effects, please include a slider aswell. Swiping and pinching is nice but a small wrong movement in the finger make me loose the exact effect i am looking for.

I had it for line 20min then I discovered what is possible, bought it straight away and made a few pretty neat render images in just minutes and they are all unique. Much easier then Touchdesigner or vvvv. The only critic I have is for the app itself. The image settings are located in the region of the virtual navigation of my phone so it happens often that I accidentally exit the app while changing the parameter. And also would it be nice if we could safe projects and not just image export.

Fantastic app!! It drives creativity and gets those artistic juices flowing in seconds. Whatever you application may be, from glitching photos, generating cool geometric patterns, modulating existing work, to playing with endless effects, you can dive into art making with no holds barred. It works flawlessly too. No matter the complexity of layering and amount of iterations, the code is stable as hell. The only limitations I've ever encountered were due to my aging device. Hats off!

Lots of fun, makes really cool edits! Very easy to use! Only issue is sometimes it freezes and I have to restart, probably because I don't have a top of the line phone. But whatever, it still does exactly what it promises! I'd definitely consider buying pro if it didn't crash/take a really long time occasionally, but again, that's probably the fault of my middling quality phone.

This is literally the first time I feel compelled to write a positive review for an app because of how good it is. It's pretty much perfect, honestly, and I'm a designer myself. Satisfying, intuitive, and unlimited combinations of effects, none of which look so standard that I could get the same result quickly by doing it manually on photoshop. A very good tool for generative distorsions. It would be amazing to be able to use it for videos too. For the next update maybe?

All the apps by this developer are flawless and allow me to edit images in ways I never would have imagined. This app specifically has a large amount of features for distorting and creating some pretty bizarre and abstract images if you play around with the features. The premium version gives you a lot of new features that are 100% worth it, but even if you choose not to, the app still provides a generous amount of cool editing tools. I honestly can't stress how amazing these apps are

This is the quickest I've gone from testing an app to buying the full version. In fact, I rarely buy (or use) mobile apps. I'd actually love a desktop version of this. I'd buy that in a heartbeat, too. Anyway, if you like glitching, databending, pixel sorting, and all that good stuff, this is probably worth your time. It's stable, quick, responsive, and a damn flexible tool. The UI could be better, sure, but it doesn't get in your way. It only needs a Windows version. For real. *wink wink*

Fantastic photo-editing app, generally. It doesn't get 5 stars, as it can be quite slow and quite a few of the modes are a bit useless (Outrun Sun, for instance). Also, there's no option/button you can press to see the photo underneath the current layer you're applying, to see the difference it makes. Having said that, I've been on this app constantly since I got it. I paid the £6 for the full version, and don't regret a thing. I've made loads of great, trippy images. Not perfect, but great app!

Has some really cool effects. Not the most useful or versatile for most purposes, but if you need some basic glitches on your pics you can't go wrong with it. Also yes there is a tutorial, it's just on YouTube and there's a link to it in the app. It's in the menu on the top right
