This app was very bad and slow. My payment for order went through. They say that I will be able to take another picture to finalise the order but nothing happened so far. Still waiting.

They told me after I had paid that my photo was not suitable. You can retake the shot but you need to email them before they will offer you a refund. Then they waved their magic wand, and fixed the photo for me.

Keeps rejecting ... Never had problems in a photo booth but because I've had a stroke in March of this year I am not able to just drive myself in to nearest store ... Other identity photos in the past haven't made such a fuss... I have long hair...ears were never a problem...and photo booths have wavy curtains pulled behind you...very disappointed with this app but have already paid over £4.00 for the hassle!! 🙄

This app is fantastic as they will tell you if the photo needs redo. It is completely free and you don't need to worry if you get it wrong. You can have as many go as you need until they are satisfied with the photo. I would highly recommend others.

Looks like a scammer to me. On the website, they confirm the photo can be used for Canadian Passport application. I took the photo for my baby and when I bring the photos to Canada Service Centre, they rejected my photos since it's not taken by authorized organization. Don't use this app.

I would have given less stars if I could. It costs £5.99 for a photo to be checked, but when you complete the online passport application, it tells you for free if the photo is OK.

Great app. Took a few attempts to get the photo approved but has tips on what to do differently. Both myself and husband used this app to get new passports and photos were accepted first time by passport office. Much cheaper than using a photo booth.

These guys are scammers. They claimed they could not process my photo because I was smiling and had my mouth open, which was plainly not the case. They will take your money and not do the work. AVOID! I should add that I decided to take the photo myself and turn it in for registration to the Register of French persons living abroad. And it was accepted right away, and my expression was no different from the one on the photo they rejected. These guys are utterly worthless.

Download this app thinking it was easy. I took a number of pictures each time they rejected them saying chin not in line, eyes not in line. I uploaded the same photos to the official government site and they said they are good quality. I have paid for two photos which cannot be used and has wasted my time and money so I want a refund. Wasted time, would not recommend this app to anyone. Best to use the government app or a photo booth, never had a problem with either of these.

This is great, I was able to take my titre de séjour photos from the US without having to return to France to find a photomaton. I had to retake my photo, but the instructions were easy to follow. Great experience and great communication.

Amazing! My dad was struggling to get to an official photo booth for his e photo in France. We got his photo done at home using the app, it was a little dark but they photoshopped it so it was clear and precise exactly like a passport photo. We received the e photos within 24hours and few days later recieved the actual ones in the post. I didn't need them but just in case. First time I've used an app and does exactly what it says with no problems! Well done Smart photo!!!

Horrible experience. Countless attempts over several days with different lighting conditions inside and outside. All attempts rejected despite making the suggested corrections. Eventually, they seemed to run out of reasons to reject my photos and resorted to repeating earlier reasons for rejection.

Very horrible experience , it takes your money and it's impossible to valaidate a photo, too much light, too low ligh, eyes not fully opened, eyes not straight, background not ok, shades every where and if all these are ok, it's said that the quality is low !!! excuse me your app is useless ! not even the possibility to upload, crop resizing, or correct the background , rien ! nada ! walo !

Found this app really frustrating. Was made to believe it would be easy and straight forward. However, after paying photo was rejected. Yes you can redo it for free but after 15 attempts, feedback kept changing each time. I gave up and paid more money at a photo booth completed with code in less than 5 minutes.

It was impossible to use on a redmi 9...just crashed repeatedly. Worked on a Google 3 (1 crash). The frustration is how tricky it is to take vald pic but i got there eventually following the feedback.....so overall, given the complexity of the activity, they deserve a 4. At least they provided an ePhoto reference number unlike their competitors.

Pay attention, the charge starts in dollars then becomes euro when charged, causing a foreign currency fee with some payment methods. The first photo was rejected, they suggested I not smile and close my mouth, neither of which was an issue, no fee to reshoot, but once I did it errored out... but then showed processing. Now 50% and photo rejected, with no prompt to retake or that the new one was processing...just all around not turning out to be a simple process.
