Yeah, I wanted to like this app because the school nearby could really use the help but I just can't get it to work. I've tried several times but as yet not one single receipt will upload. Frustrating and pointless. Easier to clip the boxtops. I'm giving 3 stars because while the app itself is only 1⭐(barely), the concept is 5⭐ worthy. I'll try it again at some point.

It was easier and less time consuming cutting them off the box. And less stressful in the fact that I have a time limit before receipts expire. The app misses some which I have to take extra steps in emailing and sending in the information again which is more time consuming. Also, sometimes I have to scan multiple times before the app recognizes the earnings. I greatly appreciate what BT does for our schools but its easier and less stress to clip. Thank you

Great that money is given to schools. However, over half the time nothing is found on a scanned receipt with qualifying products. If I rescan a couple of more times, sometimes they appear. Otherwise I have to submit manual request. So much easier the old way when you cut the boxtop out. Also, too much personal information is needed just to enroll with the app. Many people I know don't download and donate for that reason. Sad.

This app is a big waste of time. It takes longer to scan a long receipt than to clip a physical box top, and there is no easy way to submit a receipt when you don't have one that's printed or emailed. I had to work around it by sending my receipt by text, then sharing the text to email, and scanning from the email. All that for 20 cents credit for my school.

I have a hard time remembering to scan receipts. It really was easier to clip box tops at least for me. The app is okay although there have been a couple of times it hasnt picked up anything when i know there was. They will pick it up when you turn it in...nothings perfect. When every 4 of 5 receipts scanned I've had to dispute it does get old.

This app is ok. It hasn't recognized box top purchases twice, but after review, they did credit my account. I also feel that the 14 day limit to scan receipts is too short. I have friends and relatives who will save receipts and give them to me to scan, but most of the time, the 2 weeks are past. I would rather go back to cutting box tops.

I love the concept. But it's really annoying that every one of my receipts is too long to capture close up enough to qualify and get $$. Is there any way to capture a whole receipt in segments?? My school has lost a lot due to this design flaw. Then I never know which ones were accepted (nor have the time!) To make the effort of cutting them all out AND use the app.

Trying to take a pic of my entire receipt is gruelling. Reciepts now days are long even if you only buy a couple items which makes taking a pic hard to do. I keep getting an error saying app can't even read the date. Also I get my receipts in digital format. This makes me print it out, defeating the purpose of being paperless. The concept of the app is good since I don't have to clip little box tops but I'm hoping that this is just early days and the UI will become easier.

The app works well, but it is more time consuming to scan in complete receipts than it was to clip box tops, and not all have gone digital yet so you still have to clip box tops. Also it feels a bit like a violation of privacy and a ploy to find out what we're shopping for to have to provide images of the whole receipt. Seems like there should be a better way. Not sure how long I will do this all to earn $0.20 per scan for our school.

This app freezes up when you have to add more than one additional section. Heaven forbid you do 2 weeks worth of grocery shopping in one trip! My advice to users: just put all your box top stuff on one receipt, and save all your other shopping for a separate receipt! Sure, it's a pain to do two transactions, but if this is how we're doing box tops now, it will save you the frustration of all those retakes.

It is nice to take a picture of the receipt and forget about the clipping, but this app has too many issues. Most of the time it doesn't recognize the items that have box tops and contesting it becomes a pain. Secondly, and I think most easy to fix, is you have to scan the whole receipt, meaning this app sees the payment method section. We should be able to submit the receipt at the end of the items. I like earning box tops, but these problems cannot go overlooked.

I don't like the new way to submit box tops because I do not think as many people will use it as clip the boxtop, but after using the app, it has become easier than when you begin using it. I'm not sure that it catches all eligible items and you can only scan for 48 hours after purchase. The app it self works well. I also like seeing how much my school has earned.

This app is terrible! You shouldn't only have very specific choices to earn box tops from. Also just learned that they started putting on the food boxes that you don't need to clip anymore but the items I've purchased aren't on the app. Why are there only 8 items to choose from. The school's are going to lose out on box tops if this method continues! Not beneficial at all!

This app is okay. It's easier then remembering to clip and send, but the receipt scanner doesn't always catch items. I find more often then not, I have to report the earnings lost, which is a pain. It would be easier if there was a QR code to scan on the inside of the boxes or labels of cans purchased. I get not being able to be on the outside for proof of purchase, but maybe the inside barcode could work as a alternative to receipts.

This app got me wishing we could still cut out and turn in the box tops. Main issues 1) I scan my receipt, it says no qualifying products and wants me to scan the boxes anyway. 2) I have to scan my receipt twice to show any qualifying product. 3) if there's "no qualifying products" and you need to scan boxes, you can only do it at that exact moment. Make sure you don't back out or accidentally clear the message because there's no way find it again. You have to start from the beginning.

If you like having to take multiple pictures to get a receipt in then scan all the bar code items of the things it misses (it almost always misses, even on something as trivial as GM Cheerios) the this is the app for you. I suspect it makes things easier for the school, but based on our total this year, it's much less than when box tops were just clipped. It's a terrible app and a terrible method of doing things.

I didn't think I would like the switch to scanning. Cutting out the boxtops was pretty easy. But the app actually works great. I had an experience where I scanned the receipt and it actually found items I didn't know were eligible. Another time the scan didn't pick up an item I knew was eligible, but it was pretty simple to add manually.

I really liked the idea of just scanning the receipt and letting the app do the work of finding all the items I purchased with box tops, especially ones I didn't know about. The problem is, every receipt that I scanned told me nothing was found. It wasn't until the 4th or 5th receipt that I realized it was wrong and had to manually go through it and add it myself. It's a great concept, but if I have to scan the receipt and still enter manually, I may as well just cut them.
