I haven't used the BJ's app in several months because Sam's is closer. Today we tried to use Express Checkout (which I have used before) and it would not let me select a coupon to apply from two choices. Rather than deal with trying to make the technology work we put the item back. You can do better BJs. Reply: BJ's is evidently as good as reading as they are at their apps. Read my complaint before replying. It won't let me CHOOSE between TWO coupons in the app.

I love being able to clip the coupons right on my phone and have them load to my card, but the latest update has made it nearly impossible! The only way to make it so I can see and touch the "clip" button is to rotate the screen, but then I can only see 1 coupon at a time! Please fix this bug! Otherwise, I LOVE this app. I especially love the update that includes my membership details!

Finally!!! The app is working again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this darn thing so many times. It creates such an inconvenience when we're in the store attempting to clip coupons and etc. and the mess stops working. I'm going to give you all 2 stars for now and if I don't get kicked out when the next app update happens, then I'll come back and consider changing it.

I wanted to try the app to see if it would save me time and money. It does!! The first feature I used was to buy online and pick-up in store. I wanted the black Friday deal from online rather than the shelf price. It was fast and easy to order, get the notifications when it was ready to pick up, check in, and the pick up service was great! I also used the app to order items for home delivery and so far even with it being the holiday rush the items arrived in a timely manner!

App is very convenient and user friendly for coupon clipping and application. However the disadvantage is that you can only use a coupon ONCE even though you have multiple items to buy. There needs to be a feature to at least duplicate coupons or make them re-available up to a submission limit. Additionally, if you clip a coupon by accident and it loads to the app, you cannot un-click it.

I love it. It is so much better than clipping coupons but not all coupons in the flyers are available in the app. 4 stars because you need to add a back to top button. once you start scrolling through the coupons, you have to scroll all the way back up to change filters. There should be a floating back to top button. Very nice and useful app. Also, you should add a bar code to the membership card in the app so it can be scanned at the register.

The feature I like best is being able to "clip" the coupons electronically and have them added to your membership card. When you swipe the items at the register after swiping your card, the savings are automatically deducted. I also really like the fact that the coupons are attached to each item. So I can do a search for an item like "tissues", quickly see which brands have discounts on them, then immediately "clip" the coupon instead of having to search a long list within a broader category

Very easy to use! It makes it easier to find coupons compared to using the print out because you just have to find the item you have put in your basket, then add it to your coupons if there's any. Then it automatically goes to your BJs card. So when you swipe the card at check out, the coupons pertaining to specific items will automatically deduct from your total purchase. Love it!

I've been experiencing the same bugs and issues with the app, as the other reviewers have said. Crashes, being logged out with difficulty signing back in, can't do anything to items in the cart after putting them as "save for later." Also changes "my store" to different locations (even to other states). I've reset/reinstalled/ redone all the things that are suggested and still have issues. When it works, it's great. But that's WHEN it works...

This app has changed recently in a way that makes browsing more difficult. Here is an example; if you click on home improvement, there are many subcategories that you have to each click on that creates extra steps that could've been done with a filter. It never used to be overly complicated like that, this is a recent change. Same goes for clearance, why have all these sub categories that need to be individually clicked on? I think a better filter option would streamline browsing.

Not having to clip paper coupons is nice, but it is still a pain to go through the long list of available coupons to add what I need to my account. BJ's gets an annual membership fee from me, and I shouldn't have to waste time clipping their coupons. To make it more tedious, the app doesn't let you zoom in to the tiny images and product details aren't provided, so it's often difficult to see what a coupon is for. Costco automatically adds coupons to member accounts, no clipping needed.

Unbelievably bad for an app that is designed to try to help you spend money at their store. Searches have never worked correctly, even if you enter the exact name of an item. The new coupon interface is even worse than before, and the previous version was barely usable. Now, you have to open a separate dialog to filter by category or brand, and there is no way to "apply" your filter, because the back arrow to the screen with the "Apply" button does not work. Even more stupid, the filter dialog has a close button that appears at all times, and if you accidentally click it, it closes and forgets any of the work you have done setting up a filter. There are literally dozens of websites and apps that have the same sort of functionality (show a bunch of products and allow you to filter or search) that work fine with an easy-to-use interface, but BJs apparently decided that they had to be "different" instead of useful. EDIT: After completely uninstalling and clearing all app data, some things work better. The problem seems to be BJs built-in auto-update, which breaks older installs. Google Play has an auto-update system that should be used instead. This still does not fix many of the issues (like the app not recognizing a change from portrait to landscape or vice-versa), but at least the new, slow, poorly designed coupon filtering system seems to work.

UPDATE app keeps crashing. I haven't been able to use the pick up service or check in, online doesn't have a check in option. Pain in the a$$. Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. Great app. The only thing I would change would be the pop up that interrupts shopping about 10 seconds after opening the app. It doesn't add a lick of value to the experience.

The app is very convenient and easy to use. I can search for products, clip coupons, and place an order all through the app. I can also access my membership card as well as view past purchases. The one minor issue I have is when I open the app in portrait mode while my phone is held in landscape mode (auto-rotate is disabled), the app pages will not load properly. It will load in landscape mode but display in portrait mode, meaning some text and options cannot be viewed or selected.

Problems with this app much too often. Every time I try to update ANY membership information I always receive some kind of error message. It's very frustrating. I've uninstalled and tried to reinstall adding "new" information. It still doesn't work! Always an error message!! This has gone on for weeks!! I'm so annoyed, I wish I could give no stars!!

Not the first time that I have used this app. Very easy to use and navigate to where you want to go. The only issue I encountered is that the shipping charge is supposed to be 8.99 for 3 items and mine was slightly more probably because I ordered more than 3 items. Just wish that the shipping charge was clearly written out.

Very convenient until you forget your password. Can't reuse ANY password ever and last time I tried to reset it, it told me that the brand new random password I literally picked from a hat was one I already used. Awful. Other than that, I love the scan as you go and free in store pick up options. I hope they can change the password fix.

Very happy both with the app and with the options that BJs offers with it. Clipping coupons - extremely easy Self checkout in the app - being able to skipt the line is absolutely amazing, and scanning the items and paying in the app is super easy. Purchase of delivery - also easy and initiative. Overall I've been very happy with the functionality and ease of use of this app.
