I live in an area that periodically has some of the worst air in the nation. this app is extremely helpful in determining how the day will go and so far has been extremely accurate. kudos to the developer. I only have one minor gripe, getting the notifications to show my area was a bit of a fight. I use a vpn and usually have location services off so that might have something to do with it. otherwise its a great app and i fully recommend it!

Okay app. A nice user interface that lets me see air quality in multiple locations in a dashboard style view. Numbers can vary when compared to other air quality resources. The notifications for new stories is driving me nuts. I have about 20 "Are Wildfires Getting Worse?" stories sitting in my notification panel. I delete them, they come back. Multiple times a day for the same story. Deleted or not.

Very helpful! Has almost everything I need, in a very easy to use app. My only complaint is that the map on the website is way better with the 4 layers I can toggle on and off so I can see where the fires are and where the wind is blowing. Whoever designed that map is brilliant and it would be great if that were in the app!

At first this app seemed to work great. But recently it looks like there's some kind of issue. I can see on the apps map other sensor locations within 15 miles or so in the valley where I live. All those sensors show readings at single digits. One nearest me shows extremely high numbers. I can look and see that it's a beautiful clear day. Yet the app says our aqi is almost to 100. I think there's definitely some kind of problem.

Fantastic app! I get constantly updated AQI readings from a station 3 miles from my home. Every summer and autumn the western wildfires have wreaked havoc on my asthma, but this year has been especially rough on me. This app has proven to give me an accurate forecasting, as well, so that I can better plan my outdoor activities and manage my in-house air filtration system.

I like it for it's widjet but i think maybe the app needs to draw on more data point networks? i've got another one that doesn't have a widget but does have a sensor closer to me and draws on multiple networks. Theres a 50 point discrepancy between this and that one. Sucks when I'm watching the sky turn sepia and getting ill effects from bad air, im inside, and the app says, nah its only moderate.

LOVE all the information provided, and it's accuracy, once cities are saved. The process of scrolling down the list of cities is laborious. That function needs to be improved, such by as adding a search field, or, minimally, a scroll bar at the side to quickly select the first letter of the city name.

Very inaccurate! According to the app, the measuring device is only a couple of streets from where I live, so walking distance away. Yet the temperature it shows is about 15 degrees higher than it really is. That's a huge difference and doesn't make me trust the allergens measurements, which was the reason I installed the app. Today it put the allergy reading in green and said that the quality was good, even though I've had lots of trouble breathing. Useless app, uninstalling.

Misleading data: unfortunately sensor measurements can often be from many hours ago, which you can only find out if you click on the individual measurement and scroll down to the hourly plot, and slide your finger along it to see what time the last measurement corresponds to. This is very tedious. Different sensors can have different delays. So just glancing at the map or the sensor badge is extremely unreliable! It would be nice to see more easily how fresh the data is. Thanks!

Best of the apps I've tried for checking AQI close to home. Fast response time, quick updates by a simple touch on the AQI number always displayed on the top of my screen. 9/29/2021: After a new phone update (Android 12 on Pixel phone), and an update to the app, response is faster and there's a sensor a couple of blocks that is very accurate and very fast. With the kind of climate changes we are seeing, I expect this app to be more important as time goes by.

Simple to use app with easy on the eyes color scheme and large self descriptive icons, easy to understand terms with concise definitions if required. It didn't mark my location correctly, and no titling for streets, nor addresses, but was easy to tap and drag marker to my correct location, but that's only because of familiarity with Google Earth & maps. Wasn't that far off (1/4 mi.) and with AQI of 499 covering my city, it don't really matter. Updates about every 4-6 hours.

The app doesn't work. It not intuitive and the basic functions don't work. The navigation doesn't work all the time and it's mapping was very poor and very slow. I accidently git to a screen that would allow me to enter a place, and it didn't save it...it all c sucks. No explanation of terms used. When I typed in my place in came back with the city........21⁰ what is 21 and why put it there.

Great app. The widgets (what I mainly use it for) are sometimes slow to update, but they show last update time/date so you know if the data is stale. You can also set multiple widgets for multiple cities (which, with the addition of last update time, is great for getting ballpark times for friends/family in other timezones without having to open the clock app). The fact that they don't lock any features behind a paywall is also a big win for me.

This app is necessary for me being in the northern california foothills. The data inputs are growing often and the user interface is great. I like how it keeps a simple notification in the drop down rather than a huge banner like some do. The icon and color code is easy to see at a glance so you easily know if an n95 or gas mask is needed that day. Only strange thing is that every time I update the app, the top location switches to the one I was in when I originally installed the app.

The UI is perplexing; it apparently selects the closest monitor with a name that doesn't mean anything even though there's another monitor thats slightly closer. Clicking on the monitor name doesn't show the map (or option for it); you have to bring up the separate map section and figure out where your monitor is and add other nearby monitors to your favorites. Once figured out, it's quite useful for it's purpose but the UI needs to be simplified.

Widget is always in a state of 'trying to connect' and refresh. Sometimes it won't connect and have to open the app to update. Very annoying. The 'busy circle' is always spinning. I have to 'tap' it to update and stop it from spinning but it doesn't always work. I've reinstalled the app several times and repasted the widget over and over again but no change. Out of all the apps on my phone, this is the only problematic one. The only one!!! I'm tired of messing with it!! Fix It!!!

Very helpful with all of these fires lately. There are multiple options to get reminders of the air quality (a constantly updating notification, daily notifications, etc). It's nice because it's not in the way but there when you need it. Also the ads are practically non-existent, probably because they have their own air quality products for sale.

I'm concerned as to how accurate this app is. The air quality for both American and Chinese indexes always seems to be a bit off or latent. I still enjoy the app for a basis, but I never seem to fully agree with the data after cross referencing elsewhere and being outside. I also live in Taiwan and the air quality can be very temperamental, but that's all the more reason I need an accurate index. To knock another star off, this app does not contain localized information for Shoufeng Township, which is a large area and roughly 10 miles from the closest data point. In fact, much of Taiwan is without direct data.
