Description of AeroWeather

*** AeroWeather: for pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and everyone who is serious about the weather!

AeroWeather provides quick and intuitive access to METAR and TAF for airports worldwide. Data can be shown in its original (raw) format or as fully decoded and easy understandable texts. AeroWeather is helpful for weather preflight-briefings, but also to just get very precise weather. All weather data is cached for offline access. There are many settings for units and format of METAR/TAF available.

The app features a built-in airport database, which includes basic airport data like runways*, sunrise/sunset, twilight times, timezones etc.

The app itself is good but it should be possible to import/export airports and groups to IOS app with same name but different developer. I've requested this several years ago. Cooperation is a good thing!

excellent app. I would appreciate though if it were possible to sort airports in the groups and also to have the possibility to manually or, even better, auto retrieve NOTAM's. great work!

Worked good until recently. Continously getting "no connection". I have un-installed and re-installed three times and same issue. Coworkers have the same app installed and it works fine. So the outage they mention in other replies sounds to be BS.

Very good app but the wind arrow is indicating the wrong direction (180° flipped) EDIT : I actually found how to change the wind arrow setting, go to Settings, Format. EDIT 2 : app keeps crashing when starting since last update

App is really good. I had an issue where widgets were not working. After chatting with support, they released a new version with the bug fixed. Really a great support!

great weather app, missing some of the features that the ios app has but i see they're still working on it. one minor bug is that it cant decode single line tafs. I havent checked if this is only Canadian airports but im hoping this issue can get fixed in a future update.

Great app. The new notam feature doesn't work for some airports in Canada, ie CYXL, CYRL. Wondering if the issue is from navcanada's recent format change of the notams? Keep up the great work. Have the paid version.

Android Google pixel phone "no data" and no temperature reporting weather conditions reporting Can't see myself becoming a subscriber if I can't at least view all App has to offer Apple iphone has all items as shown for App. Please fix Android App **Update** Appreciate the reply look forward to trying the app once the source issue has been resolved.

Been using it for years flying commercially. Great app with lots of info. Only had a couple issues over many years and its always fixed quickly and if i send them an email they respond quickly as well. Would be awesome if they could include GFA's in the app for Canada

Normally a great app but as of March 2023 at, what I'm guessing are, peak times weather not is updating. This is accompanied by a subtle "No Connection" notice. Very frustrating especially when having paid for the pro version.

Generally very good BUT in the evenings (London GMT) one tries to get updated metar's but I routinely get a message "no connection" and 5 minute delay before the screen updates *note I'm aware of metar's updates are only several times an hour*. Please sort it as its frustrating while trying to flight plan on the go.

Great app. Ass a full purchased app and subscriber to all your features I have one Big issue. The widgets are not resizeable or optional sizing is not available. 2 widgets per page on the largest screen on the market. With the competition in able to have 4 and 5 in one screen.

This app works really well. I use it to check airport weather where I fly and for other nearby airports. It's really helpful to have all the airports I need to look at in one place. With the one time payment I also get runway data and no ads.

I really like app when it's working. Lately I've noticed that every Sunday the app crashes. I tried a restart that didn't help. Reinstalling would be a pain since I'd need to reload all my data. It's a 5 star app when working properly. Btw I did pay for pro features.

In Alaska, we love this app! It's quick. The only feature which could enhance it is the ability to read previous reports, the trend. Is the baro falling or rising? Did it snow at dwstination last night? Qeustions like these would be answered by trend info. Thanks for a great app.

So I discovered that the Android version is missing airport that is available on the iOS version. For example ZBAD/PKX. Can't believe the developer couldn't figure out how to sync the database and make sure it is up to date. Discriminating Android users get you 1 star. Enjoy!

Clean interface . But the map could be vastly improved if a label on the airfield would appear without clicking. User selectable , eg on the bottom of the map, could show the VFR/IFR/LIFR Label , or lowest cloud base , or visibility , or wind. That would make the situational awareness very high.

Have been using this on iOS for many years and love it, but on the Android it's a different story. From the reviews that I've read and having wrote to support@lakehorn already, I would love to see NOTAMS, as well as full winds (including gusts) in the initial preview of the airport and adding runways with wind components would really help to keep it much like the iOS version.
