Description of Tomb of the Mask

Tomb of the Mask is an arcade game with an infinite procedurally generated vertical labyrinth. Seeking for adventure you get into a tomb where you find a strange mask. You put it on and suddenly realize that you can now climb walls - easily and promptly. And that's when all the fun begins.

You'll face a variety of traps, enemies, game mechanics and power-ups. And as far as time doesn't wait, get a grip and up you go.

The game was unplayable for a little while (levels not loading, swipes lead to endless 'floating'), fixed now. But Combination of obnoxious ads, delays to promote ads, and lack of cloud backup (seriously, it's 2023, add cloud backup) brings this fun game to 3 stars. I despise "timed lives" systems but the premium option was a sane workaround (albeit overpriced imo). They've apparently removed that and thus we drop to 2 stars; elements like the snake are designed to waste energy and drive profits

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS UNLESS YOU WANNA PLAY ADS COMPILATION! too much ads. Do I really have to watch an ad for every thing I do? it removes all my excitement and just adds frustration specially after just losing to a round. if you play the game for 30 minutes 20 minutes of that is ads.

Really enjoy this game but the ads are way too aggressive. I paid the 12kr ($1 or so) for no ads but when you retry a level after dying, the retry button is delayed. If you tap too soon, you get a loooookg unskippable ad. Also, a new issue I've started getting is that after tapping to get past the title screen, the game gets stuck in a black screen and nothing happens. It was working fine 7 or 8 hours ago. If not for the ads, and assuming i can get the game to work again, i would gladly give 5*

Why does the game freeze when Wi-Fi is connected. Cus it work flawlessly when I turned off Wi-Fi. Otherwise I like the art style. EDIT: Turns out that the game forces to show a full screen ads, since network is detected & my Pi-hole blocks it entirely, the game just borked. The later update since to have fixed it? I guess?

This game is a banger however out of nowhere it stopped working when I reached level 300 something. The app is just black screen after I click play from the title screen. An ad shows up when I try with internet. I don't want to reinstall the app without having made sure that my stuff is backed up otherwise I'm starting back to the start. Please fix this.

Fun to play but has all of the most scuzzy practices of mobile games. Lots of ads, you can pay a reasonable price to remove "pop ups" but that's only on the main screen. There are still video ads that play at seemingly random times. Lots of micro transactions. The game has a subscription option of $8 a week. That is ridiculous. There's a pretty good game underneath the filth, but I'm not sure it's worth digging through.

The first thing I got when opening the game was the option to pay for a premium subscription. Once the tutorial ended, I got an ad every other level. The button to watch an ad to get a reward after a level and to double your reward is bigger than it looks. It seems I could click anywhere on the screen and it'd show me the ad anyway. "Games" like this is why mobile gaming is completely disregarded and laughed at. "Download me so you can watch ads 70% of the time unless you pay for me each month"

Really fun game, like really high quality. But I don't understand how the ads work. Sometimes you'll go two days without random mandatory ads (but still have the option for reward based ads) and other times it feels like everytime you touch the screen you get an ad.

I really like the game, removing the adds was totally worth it. But I'm very annoyed by the way the mask management is organized. It took me quite a while to find them in a shop tab, it takes ages to find a mask you're wearing, switching between masks is a pain. And the most annoying thing - when you get a new mask, it's applied automatically, and in most of the cases you even have no idea what it does. So you need to scroll through the shop to find it, and then scroll again to find your old one

Excellent little puzzle game. Enjoyable, easy to play a couple levels during down time. Colors and music are rad and give me a hit of nostalgia. Hundreds of unique levels and high speed arcade mode.

I'm not good at compliments so I'll focus on the cons, but please keep in mind this is still a wonderful game! There isn't much wrong overall, it's just that after level 130 or so it becomes somewhat copy-paste. The arcade mode is fun but any competitions are practically impossible if you have a busy life, then again that's not the game's fault.

The game is good, but there is sound when I play it! It's just the sound! Nothing else is wrong, Does anyone else have this problem? It's probably my phone! My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A113 Pls fix. Apart from that, Thera are a few other problems! Namely, It's too easy to miscklick the shield button and use a shield you didn't want to use, there are no invincibility frames when you get an extra life, and the fact that the description on Google play still only talks about arcade mode!

Amazing game not a ton of ads and super challenging you can play it on the road or at home! Download it! Edit:I recently bought the ad blocker on it and it works amazing! I'm now level 369 and love that each level is different. The best part is that they have arcade made so if you ever run out of lives you can play that and there are even leader boards for arcade! I'm obsessed.edit 2: This game fr is so addictive I'm lvl 457 and I can't seem to pass it and that another reason it's so addictive.

Best game for killing time. I want to inform that there's some sort of bug recently like whenever I play arcade or any level of the map, I get killed off instantly before even coming out of the gate. And also the characters I won from the events are missing. The events are also not showing up, so now I'm not able to play in any way because this bug or glitch. Just wanted to inform you, hope this gets fixed. Ps. Im a play pass player

Love this game. Amazing how many different levels there are. Would give a 5 star if the ads weren't so long. The adds don't just pop up when ur trying to play they only come up when your trying to get something extra. Overall great game, just maybe have 15sec to 10sec ads instead of 30sec

Never wrote a review before, but the greed and audacity of the developers of this game has to be shown. The stages in this game last 5-10 seconds at most, but there are 30-second commercials after every stage and after each click. And everywhere you turn, it's asking for a purchase. Skip ads by purchasing 10 skips. You can't pay unless you purchase more energy or wait 30 minutes. Etc. Pure greed. I'd put up with an ad every 5-10 minutes, or pay $1-$2 to support the game, but I'm uninstalling.

I like this game. It is simple and fun. A good way to pass a little time. The ads are, of course, awful and intrusive (by design) but I'd be happy to pay a reasonable amount to remove them. But the devs seem to think that a reasonable amount for a game that wouldn't be out of place on an early zx spectrum is over $100 a year! They are dreaming and are losing potential customers. I'd recommend offering 100 levels ad free at $5.

DEV PLEASE READ!!!! I have been experiencing some troubles with the app. Every time I play an ad the entire game just crashes unexpectedly. I have no idea why, I just installed it. I really love this game otherwise and I would like to continue to support you. I will change it wen it gets fixed!
