It's a good app to practice English. I can use it for practicing English everyday. It can help me about pronunciation.

I'm a native speaker in English and I tried this app for fun, but I when I did the speaking tests I got less than 100% native. I think this app focuses on how to say every word "Natively" and it pays attention to every single letter which I think is nice, but seeing from the other ratings it has taught people. In America the English is all different because there is accents I think this app is teaching you like ai English or just very professional.

Bought it years ago, and now I've made a habit of learning daily, but now I see some flaws, and I'm changing my review to 3* because I started hating it. Every technology is improving, and every AI, but this app doesn't. More things to buy, more courses to spend money on, but the voice recognition is worse. Maybe more improvement on that in the future. Until then, I'll keep the 3* rating.

I am a native English speaker. I tried this app to test its assessment abilities. I score between 70% and 85% speaking in my natural voice. So, all you people using this app to improve: don't be hard on yourself!! It's never going to perfectly assess your skills. You best bet is to get help from real people, but this app seems like a nice tool to supplement your learning. You can upload videos or audio of yourself to YouTube or SoundCloud and request feedback for free from the community too. :)

Ugh... So many ads... Everything, everything is paywalled. No, I don't want to pay pretty big money just to get a rough idea of what it all is about. And the more ads I see the less I want to do it.

good app I downloaded for my kids. im bi-lingual I tried teaching them while their were small but they weren't interested. Now they are so I want it hear the proper pronunciation. so far app it's been really good. thanks!

I like this app, the lessons are great. There are two things that annoy me though: push notification spam and popups. I want to only receive push notifications about my lesson reminders and nothing else. Currently that's not possible. And I don't want fullscreen promotional popups about the new courses or anything when I navigate the bottom menus (home, learn, discover). It's especially annoying that the close button for the popup is small and is placed in the inconvenient top right corner.

The content and chatbot AI are helpful,especially the assessment feedback, and clearly identify your speaking weaknesses. Although there are also numerous additional courses, it exceeds my expectations.

Great for practicing pronunciation, but might not be suitable for improving fluency. The desktop websites version of speech analyzer is better for the latter purpose.

This app has taught me a lot about how to pronounce and become better at speaking. The lessons are really good, and the feedback it gives about the way you pronounce and how it should be pronounced is extremely helpful. Sadly, the app is really hard to use as 90% of the features are hidden behind invisible paywalls until you tap on them, and it's filled with annoying ads. You also have to wait 24 hours for new lessons. Suscription is too expensive, I would pay for it if it costs 5 times less.

There has still been a bug that EXP does not gain even though practicing, yet. This does not happen all the time, but please fix it ASAP. But resently a nother bug, which is being asked share?share?share? everytime, has been fixed. The bug where EXP does not add up is still terrible. Please don't make me practice in vain.

Thank you Elsa and the team for bringing this incredible app. This helped me to drive my speaking score to 7 in ielts. Although, speaking infront of the mirror is fine but it will not help you to identify the weakness. Well, this app deserve the best. I hope this is useful for everyone to gain confidence speaking. People, be careful with this application. ELSA charged me twice. During the trial period I used a proposition to buy the subscription with 50% discount, but on the day when my free trail was finished, ELSA charged me second time with full 100% price. Now I have 2 subscriptions to ELSA in my google subscription. When I tried to cancel the second subscription, I got a message that in accordance to ELSA's policy "no refund will be issued" it means that ELSA isn't going to return my money back.

It used to work well for me and helped me improve my pronunciation for a while when I upgraded it to pro, but the price has become really expensive and everything is locked for free users. The contents never got updated and after a while the dairy practice section kept giving me same materials, nothing new. Unfortunately I've stopped using this app, it's a shame coz I used to love using it every day🫥

I wish there were more unlocked lessons for learning when it comes to free accounts, since the majority is unfortunately locked. Apart from that it's a great app for learning, very interactive.

The app is really great specially for beginners. It helps you improve your speaking skills and at the same time makes you reflect on your own mistakes. It also has a feature that monitor your progress which is very helpful.
