Description of Moodle

This official app will ONLY work with Moodle sites that have been set up to allow it. Please talk to your site administrator if you have any problems connecting.

If your site has been configured correctly, you can use this app to:

- Browse the content of your courses, even when offline
- Receive instant notifications of messages and other events
- Quickly find and contact other people in your courses
- Upload images, audio, videos and other files from your mobile device
- View your course grades
- and more!

We’d really appreciate your feedback on what else you want this app to do!

The app requires the following permissions:

- Record audio: For recording audio to upload to your site as part of a submission
- Read and modify the contents of your SD card: Contents are downloaded to the SD Card so you can see them offline
- Network access: To be able to connect with your site and check if you are connected or not to switch to offline mode
- Run at startup: So you receive local notifications even when the app is running in the background
- Prevent phone from sleeping: So you can receive push notifications anytime

Easy to use, even though slightly confusing especially in retrieving the scenario. I believe it should be somewhere one can revert to it for reference.

I love this app. It is much easier to work with and I'm able to easily open the app retrieve my assignments without the hassle of going online .I am able to use it on my mobile phone and it works great!

Much smoother use experience compared to when using a browser. **Edit**: I wish there's a way to 'manually select where to save the downloaded files'. Please give us the option to do so. Thank you 🙏.

Not bad at all, the reminders are handy and the calendar is quick to use. However, the newly added dark mode does not look good. The colours simply do not work well at all for the most part. Also, some users may find this app "pointless" but from what I can see it is there to make navigation quicker by not refreshing like browsers do. In the end it does open up in your browser app but it is much more convenient IMO Overall, certainly worthwhile to set up. It's quick and easy to do anyway. ~4*

No ad easy access to information stored there and you can easy download however it takes time to open documents when you have no data or connected to Wifi

The app is interesting. I recommend it to any student to try and prove me. It is fast, accessible, reliable and lots of good experience. What I'd like is upgrading it to be able to add photos to my assignment. Of course i could upload files, but there are time I'll need to add a photo to the middle of my assignment. I'll like to have this. But the app is better than others in terms of accessing my courses.

This app is bad 👎 experience. It is vey slowly 1. Not upload pdf :- No document is uploaded in this, and something like this appears while uploading and does not get uploaded Like that i.e Error UN CO Error: Database connection failed It is possible that the database is overloaded or otherwise not running properly. The site administrator should also check that the database details have been correctly specified in config.php 2 always errors

It works nicely and smoothly, but sometimes, an activity fails to submit may be due to slow internet, otherwise no issue. One of the best apps ever used by me in Govt. Sector.

Often the app doesn't show me the activities that I really need to complete. And most of the time is slow charging all the course content

Pretty useful app, allows you to access all the resources on the site. Main drawback is the high loading time of almost every screen. I would like to have a quick access to page of favorite courses, also caching the courses list would make access faster. Also, an option to display list as a list and not cards to fit more on screen. Overall useful when you need to check some detail or submit an assignment from the phone.

Please optimise your app for smooth scrolling and dark mode. Dark mode is not optimised for all devices. Please fix this issues.

I've enjoyed learning on the app. My only challenge is having to scroll down each time to find my place on any moodle but it's been a great experience so far

This app is very good very helpfull to students, it's help us to submit fast our assignment, but now i have a small problem when i open the app it's say the erro does not support, something i don't understand.

It's been really useful but there's an error that's really annoying, said error redirects me to the home tab when trying to add a file for a submission.
Tom
does not work. I cannot navigate the app as whenever I try and click anything the app shuts down. only seems to work when you launch it from another app.

As a student I like it, but it has so many flaws and lacks some features. For example, a feature to sync the assignments with Google calendar, or at least a widget to have the Moodle calendar on the launcher. Yeah, I like the fact that you get the notification, but sometimes I just want to know the assignments for the next week or month, but I have to open the app, wait for it to load (which takes a lot of time) and then go to calendar, it's so inconvenient.
