Better then Duolingo! If you want to learn Chinese characters Chineasy is so awesome! The graphics are great for memory retention, but what I especially like is the progression of the cards/questions. I can't say enough how much I love it. Definitely worth adding to your list of Chinese learning apps! Please Please Please add Cantonese and tradition characters aswell!!! 🙏🙏🙏

Hello, this app really helpful for beginners like me. But after 8th lesson it doesn't open. Can you help me?

It's quite a slow way to learn characters, and shows some traditional characters first (bird, for example), making the user manually select the character and read some sentence with the simplified character shown at the end. The review questions are random, and seem repetitive rather than testing thorough comprehension.

I love this app, it gives history, tradition and many educational words that I can use to speak Chinese more fluently. The cards are simple and makes learning easy and enjoyable. The pictures are beautiful and so simple. The only reason why I wouldn't rate it 5 stars is because for people who can't afford, they can't access any levels past 8. So it's not as user friendly. Very good app though!

Pros: it has good explanation on how the structure of character was made and connect with the meaning. Cons: free only until first 4 card set, and then must pay for next level and other feature. Overall, this app is still pretty good and I like the learning system (although I can't continue because it must pay).

This app is incomplete. When purchsed, I was under the impression that there were 300 lessons. At the time there were only 225 lessons, and now only 240 lessons are available. Often the app will repeat words in existing lessons, then claim you have learned additional words. In a few cases the audio doesn't match the character being learned. The app also switches between simplified and traditional randomly, which is very confusing for someone learning Mandarin. Don't buy. I want my money back.

Very interesting concept and great UI, but i can't understand the rationale for not being able to split the exercises by simplified Vs. Traditional characters. The illustrations would still generally be applicable. Unfortunately, I can't rely or use the app further as a study tool for this reason. Best of luck!

See it's funny cuz for some you learn too few new things at the time for me it was too quick. Perhaps an option whwre you can set the settings that best fit your learning profile

I love the way it teaches you but it stops at level 8 and some people can't spend money. I know you guys need to make money but otherwise the app is awesome!!

The content is very good, but a lot of technical issues like not detecting my subscription, got billed twice for the annual subscription and monthly subscription.

Fantastic!! I love this method combining pictures with spaced repetition and interactive learning🤩 It would be even better if your team created an identical app for learning Japanese Kanjis🇯🇵, in a Japanese context (with Japanese pronunciation and example sentences). I think your app is the best among the apps teaching Chinese for beginners! And if you did an app for Japanese kanjis, I'm sure your second app would become the best among the ones teaching Japanese (kanjis) for beginners😉

I love the app: the history, the graphics, the clarity of pronunciation. The only improvement I would like is to have better access to a writing function. It would be great to be able to write the word while listening to the pronunciation and seeing the character. At the moment it seems that a written option is only available for the word of the day section of the app.

A great app on my experience so far. One issue though: It would be great to have an option to hear vocals on every card that is presented in the quiz or new cards section. Not always playing the vocals seems like a wasted opportunity for connecting the visuals with the spoken word and thus like a wasted opportunity for learning faster.

Great. Recommended for everyone who wants to learn Chinese. It's really simple with this app. But I have a problem with the microphone. It doesn't work, I can't do my speaking lessons, the 'calculating circle' animation spins a little long and it tells me that I pronounced everything incorrect. Problem occurs only on my phone.

I really like the app and I would like get the paid version in order to learn Traditional Chinese. However, the speaking section of the app does not work for me. It claims that what I say is always wrong. I asked a native speaker friend to give it a try on my phone but it did not work for them either. I realize this might be a problem wih my microphone although highly unlikely since it works with other apps. I would like this issue to be fixed before I pay for extra content.

I don't usually buy memberships that easily, but this is amazing! Tbh, I have no problem with the quiz questions being easy beacuse (at least for me) it helps to reinforce and memorize the newly learned words that much easier. Illustrations and little explanations of the origins of words help me a lot too. I hope I will get a good use of this app.
