I do not like the redesign of the app. I have to answer the same questions everytime I sign in. The deals are difficult to find if you are looking for something specific. If you click on the notifications they don't automatically bring you to the deals they are advertising. Within seconds of opening the app they want you to review it.

App is very buggy. When I clip rewards in the store, they do not apply at register. I'm told they need to be done in advance. But I have found that when they tell me this, and I go ahead and clip for the next time, they still don't apply. This app is not user friendly and I have started using pickup way less, which is unfortunate, as I do prefer it.

I agree that the new versions are time consuming and annoying. I do like being able to see rewards and free items, but generally it's designed to market you. It can take a long time to do anything. And you can't just add to your cart. You put it on your list, then have to put it in the cart to get the discount etc. Not intuitive. Much better the old way. No contest. I hate this version.

Coupons advertised in the flyer as being in the app are not. If I get notifications from the app that I can load a specific coupon and click on the notification, it brings me to a page that says it's not available, but to check out other available offers. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, as well as emailed the developers, and no improvements or responses.

New app redesign is severely lacking. I'm a software developer by trade, and I believe the new features are actually intentional impediments to prevent people from getting good deals. The weekly ad coupons are obscured and can no longer be accessed easily. Also, the app goes through introduction splash screens and asks to confirm my default store whenever I start it, instead of caching all that information.

Will you PLEASE do an update! So many people are having the same problem so I know it's not just me. The app will keep saying synchronizating and the only way to get it to stop is to close it out. Open it again, click on a deal then it does the same! Coupons aren't coming off at the register so Constant trips to the customer service desk. It's sickening Already! With so many apps that work out there what's the problem? Maybe get a better team that can actually make this app work.

Update is awful - it's time consuming and confusing how to add items to your list (not your cart). You now have to "shop" and then choose your specific item instead of a true "list." Not to mention, you now have to go to a different tab to see/access your coupons. Previously, they were added straight to your shopping list. Harder for the customer, but potentially money saved for the company.

Having this app is very helpful. i can see the weekly flyer all week without carrying around a tattered piece of be paper. It is easy to shop in multiple trips as I have limited storage space. I love being able to check my list, no more losing my list in the store. The rewards program is super easy. I just shop and the rewards collect until be I'm ready to use them.

This app used to be really good. Could get on, see the deals, see your rewards, easy peasy lemon squeezy. And then they "improved" it by making it so much worse. Almost every time I get on, I have to go through the introductory sequence "here's how to use our app! Where would you like to shop? In store or delivery?" Yes, I've already GONE THROUGH this a couple of dozen times, just let me get to what I want! On top of that, it's difficult to navigate, and I can't do just a quick list to remind myself "Oh, I'm running low on TP, I need some drinks, I want to get this item I don't usually get...". Nope, now it's an actual shopping list for *specific* items for in-store shoppers to pick up. But oh hey, I can scan a barcode and add it to the list, gee, great. That might *almost* be helpful if I could scan things as I shop and then check out with it (other than things such as meat and produce don't scan) but nope, it sure *looks* like you can do that, but you can't. And most of the time I didn't want to add it to the list (since I can't check out with in-store shopping), I wanted to see if there was some kind of deal, but it defaulted to adding it to the list. Plus it's just dang *slow* anymore. I click on a deal to examine it, and go back, and it has to reload everything. Or I'm in the store and I'm checking my deals, and the screen turns off, and I have to wait for it to load. Please bring back the old version, or at least make this one more user-friendly. And if you're going to have a shopping cart, please add a Shop And Go type feature.

This app was so much better when you could tap on the weekly sales flyer to add what you wanted to your list. I am also sick of having to jump through hoops to get to the app every single time. It would be so much better if you fixed both of these. It's very frustrating. When you're already on the phone enough and you want the ease of being able to tap on what you want in the flyer having it the way it is now, is horrible!

I've now deleted the Shaws app. The previous version had problems, but was usable. This latest version of the app is unworkable. It never recognizes me from one store visit to the next, and invites me to "get started" every time. I can't find the things I thought I had selected. The Rewards section doesn't seem to work, and I have to go to the service desk to get the reward applied. There seems to be a problem finding out when a coupon expires. Clerks report customers are very annoyed.

If you like saving money than this app is perfect. It is so easy to use. All you have to do is go through the categories listed and clip the items you would like to purchase. When you get to the register and put in your phone number anyting you clipped within the app come right off. The rewards will go to Future purchases.

I work at shaws and I 100% agree with the users. It can very well be confusing and hard to keep track of due to the new update, but I can assure that it isn't the worst once (somehow) figured out. Most of the time, the app has an issue with a locations store WiFI, which is why I recommend for customers and users to clip your coupons before entering the supermarket. Trust me, it works better in most cases instead of rushing to clip things in the store. ❤️ Hope this helped!

This app continues to be tweaked, and each time it's never as good as the original app. I installed an update and it's worse than ever. Now my shopping list is split into 2 separate lists: one for items that have a digital coupon or deal, and another list for other items that I'm buying that aren't on special. Also, digital coupons that are advertised in the weekly flyer aren't appearing in the app. I'm so frustrated with this app because it used to be fantastic, and now it's a huge pain.

Before the "update" this app was awesome and I had no complaints. Ever since the "update" it has sucked. Worse user interface. Confusing. Hard to find your deals. Just junk. At least it does work if you can figure it out. A classic solution in search of a problem. Revert this back to the previous version and it gets 5 stars.

The app worked great before they updated it, now it is too cluttered and takes too many steps to do what you want to do right from the beginning with the multiple screens you have to get through to get to the actual useful part of the app. Used to be easy to find my deals, add to my list, and get to my rewards. Now all of that takes longer, more steps and screens to get there, and can't even add everything I want to my list anymore.

WOW...glad to learn that I am not the only one not crazy about the new app. It is not user friendly at all. Not able to review my rewards or redeemable items previous app was much clearer and easier to use. My favorite shopping experience loaded with savings has turned into a struggle loaded with frustrations. Why did you feel the need to change?

I used to love the app, it worked so well finding and clipping rewards. I used it for the first time last week and it was very unintuitive, and worst of all when I went to checkout NONE of my rewards applied other than the $1 off coupon I clipped from my rewards. I had to spend 15 minutes with customer service to get the amount refunded I should have. I hope you can revert the app back to the previous version.
