I've been using this app for a little while now I do enjoy the abundance of words. Although there is always a little bit of glitch in the videos, the main issue is that whenever I have gotten a new phone it completely erases everything I've learned and then expects me to resign up my membership when they're already taking out monthly payments. I keep trying to contact the Play store for assistance with no response. I will just try a new app and hopefully it will work properly

So far it seems good. Being dyslexic I prefer it if they made certain lessons where you have to write in the word optional. Also after completion of one lesson or one screen of preferred if it would immediately take you into the next screen or the next lesson. It would also be more interactive and fun if you made it so that users had the ability (optionally) to talk to other users using ASL utilizing microphone and camera or some other professional.

those saying you "have to pay" clearly didn't use the app for more than a few minutes, because you get a free course each day. you only pay if you want the lessons IMMEDIATELY. learning in a slow pace is a better for me. short bursts of words, with visuals and a variety of quizs really helps me understand a lot more than any other teacher or book has ! plus Im always able to go back and requiz myself on old words and look up words in the dictionary. not sure what the bombs and things are, though

Good app, not much available for free 1 lesson a day. Great for a beginner. I find myself not being challenged. Not sure if it's worth buying for myself. All signs are correct so far. A few sentences are cut do the first word is not visible. This makes choosing the correction option difficult. ASL grammer is different than english, i do wish when you choose the sentence words, it would be in ASL grammer. However it's marked as wrong. Overall, it's worth downloading for the free daily lesson.

Pretty good overall. Areas to improve. There is no way to explain a problem with a lesson. We can only report it and hope the developer understands. Sometimes they will have a left handed sign and a right handed person and it is slightly confusing sometimes because you don't know which staff members are left or right handed or if sign is just on opposite hand. The other issue is the clips of the signs are sometimes cut off or start in the middle and repeat so can't tell how to properly do it.

Since the last update, many videos don't load making it impossible to guess at some of the lessons. Before the update, this app was five stars all the way. The lessons are easy to understand, the format it great, and I've learned a number of signs. I've considered getting the full version, but if the videos don't load, it's not worth the price.

Using the free version at least gives you something to work on each day, even if it is out of order and seemingly all over the place. The gifs showing the sign are often cut strangely so it's hard to tell exactly when the sign begins and ends. I do wish you could shuffle the flashcards to study multiple categories at once.

This app has a lot of potential. I think the developers should look towards other language learning apps for inspiration. My biggest suggestions would be to incorporate more full sentences into the lessons; have a pt. 1 for learning the terminology and a pt. 2 for forming sentences with them. I'd also recommend improving on the "flashcards" section. A way to practice learned terms is an excellent idea, but it could go more in depth (such as sentences) and be much more difficult. Great app so far

I really liked this app for a while. I was okay with just doing the free daily lesson but after completing a few, it started back at the beginning. I thought it was just a review of sorts and spent weeks doing each of them again. Only to go right back to the beginning. I don't understand why it won't move past the already completed lessons.

I like the dictionary and new worda day function, but I think there are a few strings that would make the app better. I think the treasure feature is unnecessary in the free version (nothing can be done with it), the pictures for each sign are too obvious, an the answerr for each study session is always yes. If there was an option to remove the pictures from the sign that would awesome, and if the study session asked you to type in the answer it would be better.

I like that the daily lesson aren't overwhelming, but it takes longer to get through them all. I've only had the app for a few weeks and I'm not too convinced with it. I don't like how the gestures are repetitive as they are showning you the sign, but don't bother to slow it down and show you exactly HOW to sign them, some are just too fast to try and do it myself and possibly not even be doing it correctly. Better off learning on my own watching much more helpful YouTube videos.

This app is easy to use, mostly. The lessons cost money, but they do have a free lesson that is refreshed every 24 hours so you see more signs. I believe it'd be nice if you could add words to your mastered list, because when practicing words that I know, that weren't on a lesson, I have to search up the word(s) to check if my signing is correct. If this can be added, or any other improvements, I will update my rating to 4/5 stars. If I get a monthly pass for other lessons, I'll review that too.

Needs a lot of work. The videos often show other signs at the beginning of end of the video unrelated to what you're trying to learn which is really confusing. They also sign too fast sometimes for those of us who are still learning. The flashcards would be better if they were random signs from all categories instead of just two or three signs from a category you pick. Also not sure what the deal is with orange. It pops up all the time. Make us think harder to figure out which sign is correct.

There is a search bar for when you want to look up a specific sign. Haven't seen that in anything before. Since they have little interactive lessons, I learn more from these then just watching some movie or something. I've always learned best through interactive means. Something again I don't see other ASL apps doing all that well. I'm hoping this will continued to be worked on, but it seems like the latest update was November, while it promised weekly updates in lessons. I'm hoping this project isn't dead. While it has alot of good features, the product is unfinished. If you go the the study tab, the only thing they have is flash cards. Even worse, the 'lessons' are just asking you "Is this ____?" And the answer is always yes.

If only the flashcards had a mixed option where you could practice several genres at once, & that you either had to choose between 3 answers or write it in, instead of "Do you know this sign?" W/ yes or no. It defeats the purpose of them. It's also annoying when you don't want/can't pay for a membership & you have to wait every 24 hours for 1 very short, less than 5 min lesson that is completely randomized in which case sometimes you have to guess at signs that you may not have learned yet.

The searching system is more than amazing. Unlike any other ASL app I've used and uninstalled. Almost everything is great. I just have a few problems with this app. 1. Some of the clips showed with people signing do not match some other common signs I know. I thought there was only one ASL. 2. Another issue with the clips is how small parts of other signs make it into some clips, making them quite confusing. Plus, the clips can be pretty shaky at times. If this is seen, please consider my post.

The lessons are fairly easy so far. just started today. A big issue is the images don't load alot and have to edit to main menu several times to have them load. The persons facial expression also aren't consistent. One question asked to translate, the person made a face that looked displeased which though made the sign for "good". Was very confusing. So far as a free run so far it's OK. opinion may change later.

It's just ok. They could put a little more effort into the on-screen words. Lots of them are mashed together with no spaces. And it would be nice if they had modules or lessons that included words from previous modules or lessons so that you could begin to think of all the words within the same ever growing context. It would also be helpful if the flashcards section had anything else besides correct answers only. Sort of defeats the purpose if they're ALL correct.
