I'm not sure if it's me or the app. It's not scanning my painting. It's telling can't recognise. I was really hoping this would work for me.

The scan option does not work and I have 0 idea if it even is searching... Very unsatisfied.

Used the app at the Greenwich observatory with over 30 "tracks". Once a track was complete, rather than going to the next one, the player reset to the first track (Introduction). Made for a frustrating tour.

Amazing project. I didn't give you a 5-star just because there should be a way to scan it through images stored on your phone, too. When your app will come out with this resource, surely I'll come back here and you will have gained the missing star from me plus lots of recommendations to lots of art enthusiasts I know and talk frequently.

If you love art, then you will love this app. An A-Z of information about individual artists, 1000's of art images, video tours around some of the world's most famous museums, and access to the online shop are amongst a few of the features available. The app has worked absolutely fine for me, with no glitches so from my personal experience, i would highly recommend.

Download & Install fast & easy BUT that's where it ends. Opening app fails every time. All I get is the spinning hamster wheel on "Explore" option & the subtext "Starting..." on the "Scan" option. Such a shame as I SO want to identify a couple of signatures.

Download was simple So far nothing I've scanned has been found to identify And I've scanned some well known images I gave the app a two because if the no result scans The rest of the app is great and I hope the more I scan the more in the apps library of images . I'm going to stick with this app as I like the concept and it's easy to use And I cant seem to find my library of scanned items.

Quite like it, but frustrating that even while playing videos the screen goes goes off even when sound is still continues. Surely smartify should "know" to tell my phone that it is still operational and the screen is required to stay ON while it is tramsitting a video! This seems like a major flaw!

This is an excellent app - up to a point. You can no longer search using your location or on a map. So while the content is great it's now much harder to find tours, galleries etc near your specific location. Bring back the map!

I don't likd leaving negative reviews as someone has invested time and effort in developing the app. That said, it is a bit poor, shuts down randomly and really is not much use at present. Android diagnoses a bug and suggests clearing the application's cache. Did that but no real improvement. A shame as I had hoped to use it in a few exhibitions over the coming weekend.

I originally installed this app when visiting an art gallery where Smartify was able to provide information on pictures, by pointing the smartphone's camera at them. However, at home, I discovered that Smartify features information on nearly all nearby galleries, as well as providing a wealth of knowledge about significant artists and a vast number of beautiful photographs, with (translatable) captions of their works, obtained from the electronic resources of the major galleries.

Only ever worked once. Since then crashes on loading with message 'App Data failure.' Have uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, granted all permissions, all to no avail. Shame, because right now, I'm in the Albertina. :-( Edit: As soon as I left the Albertina, the app started opening but not going anywhere. Today, it's let me login again. Good, but a day late, a dollar short.

Doesn't seem to work at all on my Samsung phone. After first download, the app wouldn't even remain open after selecting the language preference. Tried another couple of times to re-install and at least got beyond that, but it then crashed as soon as I opened the Search and tried to type anything at all there. V frustrating. Will try on iPad...

Useless in Frederiksborg. The local Wi-Fi doesn't go beyond the ticket office and the walls of the castle are too thick to allow a good data reception. The audio hangs and then comes back when you are already several rooms ahead. The suggestion is to allow the download of the visit.

How is that even a released app? Scans aren't saved, nor objects scanned unless saved manually as favorites. Map and nearby places need to be located manually, because there's no correspondence to current location, not even a country. No confirmation/verification email after signing up for account. And you even need a separate account for the shop, which is just a webpage inside the app. Notifications and Appearance settings aren't working (no reaction on tap).
