Description of Card Talk

Card Talk supports communication with cards for children who have difficulties in verbal communication.
You can indicate your emotion/intention, and learn vocabularies and grammar at the same time.

This app was developed from the actual cards used in LITALICO classrooms.
Now everybody can use these special cards to learn communication anywhere, at anytime.
The app has been improved over and over based on the feedbacks from classrooms.

*LITALICO classrooms are run by teachers and professors who specialize in kids development and education.

Characteristics of this app:

• All 200 cards for everyday use include voice sound.
• The app supports multiple languages so you can switch to whichever language you want to learn.
• You can make your original card with original picture and recording.
• Choices of cards may be limited so it also fits in initial learning.
• NO Advertisements are displayed so there is no visual destruction and kids can use it safely.

This is a really good app. I love that I can create mine own cards complete with a single word, phrase, sentence, plus a photo or image.

Good for allowing you to create custom cards with photos. Makes the talker relevant to a specific child.

Great app, just wish it worked in landscape with 5 top cards. Also wish you could add your own tabs (maybe sub-tabs too... Like food-fruits and food-vegetables, etc. All under a foods tab)

Similar to the software elementary school uses for the non-verbal students that is $350. I like that I can make customized cards and sentences with the words. I see no manners words so will have to make my own Please, Thank You, and such for sentences.

I would like the ability to start a new language, by translating the icons. My son would benefit from this app, but only in Danish. And room for more cards in the player would be helpful. Bigger deck and the possibility to make more decks.

Amazing app for non verbal children! The only thing that would make this app better would be an alternative voice. My son would like to have a male narrator, instead of a default female voice.

It's pretty good. The three dots aren't always responsive. My son's teacher showed me this app. He's 13 and nonverbal. I like that we can make our own cards. I wish that I could move the cards we make into the proper categories.

This is nothing short of AMAZING!!!! Almost every assistant talking device is expensive and this app is free!!! To be able to communicate with my 2 year old daughter who has autism and limited speech is priceless!!! Thank you sooooo much with all my heart for this app.

as a pediatrician, i think this app is awesome and very useful. It functions very well to be an Augmentive Communication Application program. The language choice is fanstastic. No app is perfect but this one is highly recommended even in my professional opinion

This is a very practical app, and the picture instructions are quite clear and interesting. But the speech speed is so fast when the audio file is playing, children can't hear it clearly. Is it possible to add options that can adjust the speed of speech?

I have a brother with autism and it works pretty good. It's really important that theres a way for him to talk to us. However I wish it was all in one to scroll through instead of different categories but it's cool cause you can make your own words and it has plenty of different languages to choose from.👍

I don't understand the point of this app, each time I create a new card it always goes under "original", I am unable to add it to any of the categories. The effort is defeated and there are no directions on how to do this.

So downloaded a few for my parrots to train them to tap to talk what they want. This app I like best. I can make my own on screen cards and download my own pics and use my own voice for them to hear when they touch the on screen cards. I think this is the best one I downloaded a few. This one is the best for me. shared on tik tok for other bird owners obviously can be used for humans too.

Needs work but great. Hopefully this app was on the Kindle store because most Kindles as tablets are useless and if they had accessibility tools would be like this would be much more beneficial to the disabled and neurodivergent people out there this is great I don't know why this app turns my pictures what I'm trying to create a card and sizing an options should be but otherwise it's great and I look forward to the future updates I hope the best

I like the idea of this app. Although there could be some tweaking that needs to be done to make it more awesome. First, I did install it on one device, worked great. I tried to install in on the other device but there is no way to retrieve all the information that I had input on the first device which means that I have to start all over. Second, it's great that you can create your own cards but unfortunately can't add it to the recent deck that is already there and you can't edit the deck.

Would love it more if we could login in order to sync to all our gadgets, just incase one goes down... So, we don't have to always create the custom cards from scratch ot over and over again. Custom deck needs more cards in it as well, there is only 8 now.

It's good! But I don't understand how to edit the different packs. I've added cards for different feelings and it would be good to be able to move them to the same category with the others.

This app has extensive collection of cards, can add your own cards but there seems to be no way of deleting custom cards. Would be helpful to have one main screen with commonly used cards that's more than history.
