The Cat Scanner app will identify your cat's breed reliably in just a few seconds! Besides taking a picture, you can also record a video or upload an image from your gallery.

No problem, the Cat Scanner app also recognizes mixed breeds! We provide you with detailed data and interesting facts about the different breeds of your mixed breed cat.

Doesn’t matter! The Cat Scanner app also recognizes humans: Simply scan yourself, your friends, your family or the people around you and find out which cats you resemble the most!

The Cat Scanner app currently identifies around 60 different cat breeds, including all breeds officially recognized by the Fédération Internationale Féline (FIFe) and even some more! Our comprehensive database with information and pictures of all cat breeds (including the unofficial ones) can also be accessed completely without scanning!

If you also indicate which cat breed is in the picture, you help us to enhance our software since the app automatically learns how to provide even more accurate outcomes. With our premium version, the app will no longer show ads and your results will be available faster. Furthermore, you can now choose whether your cat breeds should be recognized rather quickly or with higher accuracy. Gave my 2 sister cats different answers, 1 offspring a different answer, and said it was part spyinx cat when it had no resemblance!

My kitten was apparently a "newish" breed. I took one photo and had a correct answer in seconds! Had a little cat bio also that taught me a few things about her breed. It did exactly what I downloaded for and I couldn't have been happier!

I love this app! I don't know how accurate it is because my kitties are mixed, but when I do scan my kitties, the Breed I was Suspecting did come up in the Results, it's fun and Fascinating to read about the cat breeds that your kitty is mixed with and the app is very Educational. 5 stars from me!

Amazing, but the lighting is pretty dark, as we were in a very bright room, Wich causes the scanner to see nothing but darkness. But if you take a picture of the cat beforehand it scans it perfectly. love this.

Interesting and fun, not sure how accurate it is as the cat I'm scanning is a stray/lost young tabby mixed cat.. I'd guess it is European short hair with some siamese traits..her eye and head shape..but she is far smaller than a siamese would be...anyway it's interesting and fun to try on my temporary houseguest kitty until this outbreak of the virus is over and things get back to semi normal... she's not a problem in the least but a great cuddling buddy and super sweet..lol she squeaks not meow

Changed from last time. I know what my 2 cats are and it shows 3-4 different types. Especially mixed breeds. I downloaded this yesterday and payed for 1 year at 70% off so it was around $3.99. I came back on today and all I see is ads and this program trying to get me to pay weekly, monthly or lifetime. Must be because I already payed for a year.

Ok, I need to clarify some things here because I've seen other comments that were (after using the app) confusing. The app indeed works and it may say mixed breed, but it will tell you what breeds they are. I've done all my cats in the app and they have, for the most part, been accurate. Sometimes your cat has a teeny bit of what could be another breed you never knew or considered. To say this app doesn't work is a lie, but definitely do you own research as well as using this.

It's a fun app. I was skeptical as I'm sorry but this isn't an accurate way to determine a breed but I will admit it's fun. Especially wrong that each time it was wrong even though I had the same breed over and over that I inputted when saying nope its false! 🤣 We breed purebred pedigreed Maine Coons. So nope the app doesn't work (like I figured. Didn't think it was going to be accurate) but its fun to play around with. Now that I've had that fun, I deleted the app. Thanks!

I've been trying to figure out my cat's breed for a long time now, and I just couldn't do it..As I saw the reviews I thought it would give me some really good suggestions to look in to. I was wrong, at first the picture I used gotte some cats I wouldn't expect her to be..so I tried a different one..It got a whole different buch of cats..all I know is that she's a mix breed..not bad just disappointed.

Like the app. Not sure on the accuracy, but came close to my estimated breed assumptions on my young cats. Glad I cat take pictures without having to pay immediately after 3 scans. That is an awesome feature in this app.

Surprisingly accurate! I even tried to trick the app by using a picture of a lion. The result it gave me was...a freaking LION! Initially I came to rate the app 5 stars. While writing my review, I decided that I should also support the developers by upgrading to premium. I figured it'd be a few dollars. .99¢, maybe $2.99 at most. So I go back to the app & find that you have to pay a reoccurring subscription, OR $15 for a lifetime sub. Sorry devs; No Sale. Not on a novelty, fun once, app. :/

While I don't trust the app in full, i find it interesting what we can learn about our feline companions. I used two different pictures of my cat and results I got told me she is 74.4% Siberian, 13.3% Norwegian Forest cat, and 7.8% Maine Coon. So, if you're going to use this app to identify cat breeds, try using more than one photo per cat.

Identifies cats quickly, but I wouldn't say accurately. I uploaded pictures of two of my cats and one came back as tuxedo, the other tabby. Those are color patterns, not breeds. I wanted to know what breeds made up my mixed cats, instead I got information I could get by just looking at my cats.

Great Idea but needs work: I scanned three cats that are all Hong Kong domestic shorthairs, with a distinctly Chinese look. It recognized my tortoise shell DSH as a tortie - which isn't a real breed, and my two tricolour DSH's as mixed breeds, with a guess of three-four breed combo. I feel the app has limited itself to what I could find on the web. Add in annoying adds and requests for me to pay to subscribe, and honestly it's a little disappointing. A fun idea that I wouldn't pay for.

Definitely a uniquely accurate tool 4 anybody interested in learning more about the possibilities of breeds or breed of cat they may have. Tried it with pix of 4 different kitties within my family, & so far, each & every1 of those scanned has been pretty accurate indeedio!! Awesome job, luv this app!!!

Fun idea, but has agressive ads and is widely unreliable. I got two very different results for the same cat ('99%purebreed' and 'mix of 4 different', and I even used some of the same pictures both times). It's only a rough AI estimate based on first looks anyway.

I love this app's concept and UI, however it requires some work on accuracy. I scanned my cat twice, both results entirely different and incorrectly matched. But keep up the good work and hang in there. This app has potential

this app scanned my cat Jazzy Diamond Phillips and told me that he's in fact a robot sent back in time on a mission. Only problem is that time travel involves heavy use of magnets supposedly and accidentally erased his programming including the files containing his mission. The only files left undamaged were the ones in sub-folder "awesome dude behaviour". So it looks like I'll just have to be cool with Jazzy remaining an awesome dude of a cat, which has worked out perfectly. Thanx Cat-scanner!
