Description of That Shopping List

Forget your old, unsorted, cluttered shopping list that you never have on hand when you need it.
"That Shopping List" helps you create your grocery list in record time, for example by simply adding items from your history or via voice input.
Working through your shopping list is even easier. Thanks to the unique, clear, categorized display and sorting functions, you will be able to complete your shopping in no time at all. Very easy to use! Great synchronization feature!! Works acrosd Android and iOS devices!!! I wish that the list of "checked off items" could be configured with different sorting methods (not only "last checked off" but also alphabetically, either over the full list or by group) to make adding previously shopped items even faster.

Handy, and I really like that I can categorize each item. That way I shop by section of the store. It synchronizes easily so two people can shop apart together. It also doesn't seem ask for too many permissions. (A big plus)New features i'd like to see: Add multiple stores. 2) allow me to add icons 3) allow me to link and share photos and brands...for instance, biscuits. My partner likes a certain flavor/brand, if they are out there is a second choice, but I need a photo to figure it out.

Ads block you from sharing any lists - they are in the way. please fix so that there is more room to make a selection to share. Otherwise great now that they made all features free. l Like how you can share the lists and synchronize them, if i could use that feature. I use it for Chores as well. Improvement could be seeing checked off items for everyone so anyone could add it back to the list. Also the abiliry to change connected Google account.

Only just installed, but seems to have everything I was looking for. Only snag/feature request so far: When Sharing to Google tasks (so my partner and I can work on the shopping together), the entire list shares as one task. I'd really like to be able to share the list as individual items for my food shop!

Really great list! Simple UI and really easy to use. My favourite about this is the history of what you've previously had but most importantly you can sync the app with other people! This makes grocery shopping for me and my partner really easy

[Edit: 2.5 yrs on, still using. Still all good. ] [Edit: 8 months on, still one of best apps I have. And that's free version!] Wish I'd found this sooner! Only swapped list app when prev one kept crashing. This has good customisation options, is easy to use and the quick screen lock is BRILLIANT when your hands are full in the shop and you need to jam your phone in pocket/waistband /bra for just a second...

Easy to use. Quick to enter items that I buy regularly. Automatically sorts items by category which makes shopping much easier. Easy to check off items as you buy them. It would be really helpful if there was a date field as well - I am often shopping for the week and it would help me to check use by dates on products are suitable if I could easily see what date they were needed.

Very good app, easy to use, some things are intuitive, others less. The pre-set categories can be edited but do not change when shared (very confusing and inconvenient), also editing categories changes them for EVERY list - highly inconvenient. The most infuriating thing so far: The "current offers in area" function was removed. Why?

The backup feature is a bit mysterious and needs to be explained better within the app, but the core functionality is sound: a list with categories based on the aisle/shop you're in, checkboxes to remove the things you've bought, and a history of things you've added in the past. The app knows what category things like potatoes and bread belong in, but you can reassign them if you like, which is useful because it sometimes gets it wrong - candles are not a tinned food!

Most apps I use for a week and then drop. But this app I use all the time. I love it's easy to use interface. I use it in conjunction with an Excel spreadsheet that totals my groceries. (This app doesn't yet have a calculator.) i then duplicate my excel grocery list into this app by simply clicking the items I need. That way I can easily check off items as I buy them. but before I buy groceries, I enter in the app the total spend I have for each grocery item.

Very good app. You get a shared shopping list that updates promptly if your wife adds something while you're in the shop. I think the next logical step for the app is to invent a smarter use of screen space than showing stuff you just this second ticked off, after all, at the moment at which you just bought something, the probability of you wanting to add it to the shopping list is at a minimum.

Great little app for a shopping list, simple to use, easy to add to. A couple of the grocery category symbols are a bit cryptic but overall it does just what I want, keeps a nice list to help me around the supermarket. Very easy to add extra items at home when you remember them, or add new brand names etc. Plus you can set up different lists for different supermarkets. Recommend :-)

I gave this 5* in March 2020 and a year on I would do the same. Such a simple app, it's made shopping so much easier being able to sync between devices. My only quibble would be that on occasion, changing the categories of items is a bit onerous (it'd be lovely to be able to do this on a web-based application) but that's a really minor complaint overall.

It's a great shopping app, especially at the moment when I want to be really organised going round the supermarket. It's so handy that it bunches your list by department. I'm struggling to find how to clear the ticked off items from my list completely without either having to do it one bt one or deleting the list and starting again. If I could do that it'd be a 5☆.

Great shopping list app. I needed a new app as the one I was using wasn't supported in the UK any more. What I like is that it orders like items together which my old app didn't do which makes life a lot easier and I can make sure I have everything like veg before I move on. The only thing which was a little annoying was I'd managed to tick some items off before I'd got them, so it is a little sensitive but that has happened with other apps. Overall very happy with it.

First impressions were very good. App looks good, easy to use. But too few categories of items. Sync doesn't work as should. Only small portion of list is synced to other user's phone. Trying to get all things synced I added all items as unchecked in the list. Didn't sync fully either. Ticked the checkmark option to set all items as done. But that simply wiped my whole shopping list! Now my whole history of shopping is gone. A lot of my time that went into creating the list, straight to the bin.

This is an excellent app. I love the way it automatically sorts your items into aisle groups making shopping so much faster. I also love you can have separate lists and can create your own category. I was only going to give 4 stars because I wanted to be able to delete individual items from my history list and to be able to edit list items..... and I have now discovered how to do both! (Just click the item in your history list, click on the cog wheel then either edit or delete the item. Simples)

As a long time user of Out of Milk and I've been disappointed about the lack of support from the app, I have made the move across to That Shopping List. So far I'm impressed. The app is easy to navigate & personalise to suit your own taste, style and icons. It passed the test at the grocery store; I was able to line everything up in terms of store layout, so I didn't have to keep darting back and forth to collect items. It made shopping simple and easy, nothing was forgotten, which is great!
