KEEP AWAY! DOESN'T BELONG ON ANYONE'S TOP 10 LIST! Developer has almost abandoned it. Emails reporting new bugs due to OS or device upgrade go unanswered. It is rarely updated anymore. Once per year at best. I even paid for the app & few dollars extra for coffees. I loved it for years. Was so efficient that whatever I had to access was on home screen or 1 swipe away. it's more than sub optimal now. Now I have to find a new launcher for all the devices I own & others I provide support for.

I've tried a lot of launchers and this is by far my favorite! I've always been one for the stock Android experience and this gets you the latest os features without necessarily needing the latest os. I have noticed a bug though, the covers sometimes don't work and I have to move an app in order to make them work again.

I've been using Action Launcher for about 5 years, and I love it! 😊 Some of my favorite features are the pull-out app list, ability to use several icon packs, and the ability to customize almost all parts of the interface; including making icons very small and having the launcher automatically match colored themes to the wallpaper I choose. Thanks so much for a great product that allows me to make my device unique and truly my own.

I actually love this app and find it incredibly useful. But lately it will crash and turn my entire screen black. When my screen comes back, it will either be the system launcher or I have to hard reboot my phone to restore functionality. Not sure why this randomly started happening but I hope they fix it soon. I liked this enough to pay for it and now I'm about to uninstall it.

I bought the launcher and it is awesome but it has a few bugs wich bothers me a lot by the way since its a paid app and i expected more of it. The calendar widget has a bug, both of them dont work. It sometimes doesnt apply changes and i hate it when it needs me to play a gesture twice or click something twice some times. Please update soon with bug fixes.

Sketchy app. I read few recent comments and it's true that the developer charges new fee every year for full features. I paid twice already and the amount keeps increasing every year. Looking to uninstall and search for another launcher that is reliable and may have a one time fee and not a yearly fee. The deceving part is, it is not mentioned as a yearly subscription but only a one time fee that keeps popping to renew the next year.

Gets the job done beautifully with one major exception... Every so often, there's a glitch that causes the search bar on the homescreen to stretch unreasonably wide, causing essentially a grey bar persistent on the home screen at all times. The problem is relatively easy to fix but still annoying. For the record, I AM using a rotation app (because you can't navigate Netflix in landscape for some reason).

Rip off tactics! It's a nice launcher, but to get complete control over how you want your screen to look you you have to upgrade. Ok fine, every app has that somewhat. But then to use Google as your search engine of choice you have to pay an extra $5??? What's more, the app configures the search bar so that it "looks" like a Google branded pixel search bar - and switches you to Bing for the actual results. Bad faith and complete BS.

I really like this launcher. I think it's probably the best one next to Nova Launcher. Specially since it's the only one that has folders which I wish more of them had, folders are awesomely convenient. That being said I wish after you add an app to a folder it is no longer available to be checked. I understand why some people may like it that way. But for me I have a lot of apps and find it kind of annoying having to scroll through all the apps I have already organized in folders.

Have used this exclusively for years but can now attribute major performance issues to this app. I don't know why, but about 6 months ago, my phone fully slowed down. Brutally. I finally bit the bullet and downloaded another launcher, right back to original performance. I love Action Launcher but I can prove it's slowing down my phone. Until that changes I'll be looking elsewhere.

It's a cool launcher, It was a close choice between this and Nova.. also great but there are a few things I don't like much. I bought the pro version (I think anyway but it's a bit confusing to be honest, says pixel now so I assume I did) which gets rid of the adds...I think but there are still adds but just for extensions so OK, cool. Unless you opt into the beta in which case they are back, even if you bought it so I lasted in the beta for 2 minutes, then opted back out. More but hit the limit

So, I'm pretty brutal when it comes to critiquing software as I've used alot of it. Anywho; if you're looking something stock+ with more features - this is it. I've gone through quite a few launchers over the years and was ultimately looking for something that was like stock, with customization, but no clunkiness. This checked all the boxes. It does have some bugs regarding widgets. But that's not a deal breaker by any means. Its present, yet minimal and intuitive. Well done 👍

I really love this launcher. I decided to try this out after getting tired of the lag and high maintenance of Nova, and I'm happy I did. I especially love the scrollable app list on the homescreen. The adaptive theming works perfectly. Dev, any plans to make the app drawer more customizable? That's the one thing I miss from other launchers; the ability to organize/sort apps into custom categories and folders, and eliminate clutter.

This is a pretty great launcher, I don't understand why people compare it to Nova. They both offer different things. This most recent update is admiral at trying to make the experience less "jarring" with gesture navigation. With that being said, is still just kind of a meh experience using gestures with any third-party launcher. Google really needs to fix it with the next version of Android. Even their own Pixel devices redraw the home screen while using gestures.

The launcher is probably awesome if you upgrade for $7, but I'm rating the version as offered on the Playstore (free). Around 95% of its unique features are locked out for the pro. I used to use AL2:Pro back in the day so I'm sure this dev has made yet another outstanding app. I'll maybe even buy the $7 upgrade if I think about it later. I have noticed some lag going to the home screen. It shows just wallpaper for a few secs before loading the icons.

Overall a very well thought out launcher and I'll be using it for a while, but it is pretty buggy. Sometimes it'll get stuck on a page and not allow me to swipe to see my apps, etc. but pressing the home button or turning my screen on/off always fixes it. Minor annoyance to put up with for the features you get.

Still a great launcher, but... They keep pushing the "Action Search" feature in the search bar, which doesnt let you set Google as your default search engine unless you pay for the new version. You can still set Google as default if you disable Action Search, which just makes the search bar an internet search bar. That's what it was when I bought the app years ago so that's all good. But once in a while my default search changes to Bing without warning, which is very annoying. Cut it out.

Previously I would have recommended this launcher regardless, now I have to mention the need to pay once or twice for features that were previously free. Not leaving a good impression. There are other methods to get support instead of gutting a well used feature. (Changing default search via bar to Bing, even if you can change it with $ or disable that feature altogether)
