Love the functions, hate the UI. The app feels so cheap and slapped together in places. It's full of useful features and information, but nothing is intuitively organized or laid out. Things that should be buttons are not made obvious at all. I often forget how to navigate to the information I found previously. My biggest gripe is the bar chart in the user history. You have to swipe it just so to get the date you want. you can't tap on the date or slide to it.

Frustrating. Sometimes this app works pretty well. Other times the sync goes haywire and doesn't do its job. I lost a 100 day streak yesterday because it didn't sync my steps properly. My watch gave me the notification that I reached my goal and before I went to bed I was over 1000 steps over my goal. When I woke up the next morning, the app said that my streak had ended and that I had 2000 less steps than my goal. There is no way to manually enter steps to fix syncing issues. I also have had to constantly refresh the app to get it to sync activities from my watch, but usually you just have to completely quit the app and then reopen it for it to actually sync. Definitely needs some bugs fixed.

There has been a modification file available for over a year to increase the size of the font on notification screen. It makes the font a touch bigger and bolder. Why haven't you made this available yourselves? BUT NOW my watch is correcting the modification back to the tiny thin font I can hardly read. I'm one more ridiculous so called "Improvement" away from switching permanently over to NOTIFY AND FITNESS app. that is available. Watch is pretty cool, app. continually gets worse.

Whoa! I experienced inaccuracy of steps data recording on the mifit app with my mi smart band 4 couple days ago and couldn't seem to fix the inaccuracy after trying all potential fixes. This was never a problem for the past 5 months I've been using this. Then, I looked here and voila!! It appears there was a recent new app update which has messed up something on the app. This appears to be an issue with a lot of frustrated users. Hope tech support is reading this and can address urgently.

Works well and is reliable. Some of the screens are too sensitive, eg, exercise tracking starts with a simple light touch after GPS location is found. Others are too difficult, eg., it takes 3 touches to fully end exercise, and is even more difficult when outside and cold air. App is very intuitive to use.

Update 1/30 ~~ thanks MiFit for the app update today! Already it appears to be working properly again. Not sure I love the new look, but glad the features operate. 1/10: This app used to be fantastic. Unfortunately, since I upgraded to the MiBand 6 and updated the app, it no longer records goal streaks or sleep data longer than 2 days. Everything resets to zero. Really unfortunate because the band is awesome.

The app is relatively simple to get started with. Every thing you'll record and all the updates are handled during set up. The tweaking is where the app falls down. Once connected (via bluetooth) it is impossible to disable bluetooth (it will reconnect after 10 - 15 seconds) or set intervals during the day where the tracker would connect with the phone via bluetooth and transmit any outstanding data. This feels like an unnecessary drain on the phone battery. I tried disabling notifications being sent to the tracker from the from the phone from within the app but that function appears not to work. Also, Mi Fit app does not sync heart rate data to Google Fit. *Please add heart rate syncing to Google FIt *Please add an option to disable bluetooth connection for data transmission for varying time intervals

Since upgrading to the latest version of this app my watch has a very hard time connecting via Bluetooth to my samsung s8+. I have my phone and watch right next to each other and it still will not connect. The watch is basically useless. I can't even use the watch like it's supposed to be. It worked before the update. The new experience is terrible!! Please fix!! I will add that that the the Bluetooth pairing sucks even with the new update. i tried a factory reset to see if it would pair up, nope

I've been using mi fit)mi band for a few years now and it's been great. The app keeps getting friendlier and easier to use and the bands keep getting cooler features! I live being able to teach so much data and whole it isn't the most accurate, I think it's perfect for what I'm doing and the cost of the band. My only complaint is when you get text notifications you'll sometimes have a period of time where you get a notification when you send a text so there's all kinds of band vibration

I have this for over a year. It's been working fine but all of the sudden it does not log in my steps and sleep data. I just found out I have lost my streak of 375 days because it doesn't load my data to the app! It shows I have already reached goal on the top but nothing is showing on the graph or when I go to the work out page. I'm so sad. Totally lost the purpose of having the app. Some people said it's because of the last update. I hope someone can fix it soon.

Generally loving this fitness band (the v4). Two things, my girlfriend was unable to sync her account setup, so she couldn't even get her band to a working state. Second, the band and app don't understand the US daylight saving time change. The band didn't change times (so the alarm was wrong) until it was synced with the app in the morning, and the sleep data looks incorrect (slept 6.5 hours, 3 hours deep sleep).

I join the chorus of voices that say this last update (v4.0.0) was a giant step backwards. The old interface was straightforward and easy to use. This one is awkward to navigate making it hard to find things, and dropped the ability to look at old workouts (unless I can't find it).

"Select the Region" screen keeps popping up when starting the app, and there's no way to get rid of it. Making a selection doesn't work. The latest update removed all the unofficial custom watchfaces I added. There is now no way to re-add them. One of the best features of the Mi Band 4 is now gone. Please fix it. Also, the app doesn't track my sleep whenever I go sleep later than 6am.

The sleep detection is extremely poor. It will show periods that I know I was up walking around as light sleep. And there are just too many clicks to get to the alarms & reminders. It isn't on the home page and the second page won't load until the watch & app are finished with a sync. I have seen far worse device apps, but this one could be so much better.

Pretty neat overall. I like the device and the software. Don't get me wrong. There are some things that I find annoying, however. First, there are three menus. Swipe horizontal, swipe vertical, and an 'everything else' icon. For some reason, some of the apps can only be in some of the menus, not all. Second, I own a Xiaomi phone. You'd expect everything to work together. Not so. Notifications simply don't work. I've set everything up as instructed, but notifications still don't get transmitted.

Horrible upgrade. The nice sleep data bar graph on the front page, has been replaced by a jumble of letters, in a tiny unreadable font. The original nice sleep graph, has been moved to a sub page, and has been squashed down to a third of its size Also with tiny writing. More workout types were promised (with is why I upgraded), but the number of workout has dropped! From four to three. [Update] Treadmill is still there, but good luck finding it! Forced, mandatory, non-cancellable watch update just when I was about to start a workout. Nice to stand around for 5 minutes and wait. Workout screen still times out (locks). You still have to toggle the setting off, then back on every time. And my favorite ... it now turn off my Bluetooth headset WHILE I AM ON A CALL. Android give me a notification that Bluetooth was switched off by Mi Fit. Bottom workout shortcut gone. Replaced by devs pushing useless Friends feature Uninstalled and moved back to 3.6

I love my mi band three and like the app that goes with it well enough. The app is fairly easy to work with. The biggest thing I don't like is the periodic revamping of the layout and how you navigate. No notices of the changes, just open the app and bam, it looks totally different. I can eventually figure out how it works again, but should I really have to? But I am not inclined to go to a different tracker that has to be charged every 3 or 4 days, so I will be content with the app.

The app was acceptable before (when it was MiFit). A bit confusing and frustrating at times, but acceptable. Ever since the update to Zepp Life, though, it will randomly disconnect from my smart band (MiFit 5) when my phone is barely 3 feet away. And every time it does this, the time on my band freezes until it reconnects. I need to have the correct time... Only going to put up with this so much longer before I switch allegiances.
