It's article are very inspirational, and it's just an amazing app, though there are still se bugs to be fixed, for example, I have to download articles repeatedly each time Iog in, as a result I can't do any offline reading

This app has been absolutely wonderful! I get notifications based on papers and research that I've done, so the app ensures that only research that is relevant to me gets my attention. The papers so far have been accessible and not behind a paywall as well. Loving it so far.

Tried to confirm account via email. Took me to a page where I had to pick the squares with crosswalks, autos, streetlights etc to prove I am not a robot. Problem was that a third of the page was hidden from view so it was impossible. So I don't know ...... maybe the sight is good. I can't get there.

So far the app works well. Although, one major drawback is that I cannot access as many articles on the app as on the website. It may be user error, but I cannot turn pages to get more results for my searched subject.

Tons of knowledge that you won't find anywhere else. You have access to papers that cover anything you can think of, literally, anything... You even get to see and follow the Authors of these papers. I am hooked, and started saving for a PDF Membership. This app is the only app that I explore every single day. I am greatful for this little treasure.

This is by far the most robust and user friendly of all the research/learning type apps. The free content is extensive. Every field of learning is covered. It's streamlined for efficiency. Superb indeed.

I will demonstrate my reverence for this particular application software at a later date {to be updated properly, sooner than later from 10/21/2020}. Highly recommended, so don't hesitate to engage the Academia app! Explore an incredible and generous range of documents, without restraint: the app is free of solicitation of all types, and everso favorably no paywall. Self-education, after all, despite financial difficulties, ought to be encouraged. The UI, navigability, and overall design is A+.

Magnificent! There is more to this service than I thought to hope for. In particular, the PDF Packages are amazing. Even a simple focused search takes me into areas I might never have explored in my normal course. Not only that, but I actually know some of the authors. Wonderful stuff.

Worked wonderfully up til a month or so ago, when it would start to glitch and freeze for entire minutes whne launched. And right now its not usable in the least. I tap the book i want to read, everything seems ok for 3 seconds and then it freezes and crashes. Im sorry, but right now it deserves one star only.

Amazing research. I intensely dislike constant requests to confirm new research is NOT my own due to a common name. Auto redirect HERE was also intrusive/devalued my time and focus, req task switch frustration - esp hard for the cog-impaired. Knock it off. Promote and fund app unintrusively and I'll upgrade review and go premium. Intrusive manipulation AND a $99 annual price and limited app functionality? No. Accidentally clicked one Spanish art. Now all suggs are Spanish. Costs $99 to fix. 👎

It's absolutely unnecessary that it wants to access my contacts. Feels overly intrusive for no reason, and i had to change my password after getting an alert that the app had access to my account. Totally ridiculous, i just want to read some research papers.

The gray font color of the PDFs does not provide enough contrast with the black background, making it difficult to read. _____ I'm not sure when the dark mode (at least for reading the PDFs) was added, but that gets an additional star. Now for the rest of the app.

The app works, it is intuitive enough and it integrates well enough with the website. Of course, it's the content that interests me most. As an ordinary punter with an academic interest, I'm really grateful to have access to so many books and papers that otherwise would be out of reach/out of mind.

Was good, but they removed the ability to download documents, which makes it kind of pointless. Also seems to have a number of bugs e.g. if you change to another app and switch back, you will no longer be able to see the document.

The app is a really good one. You can read and learn a lot about our world from journals written by well educated and rebound personals. The app just needs to be a bit more colourful and bring in creative decorations to the app screen to attract more attention of it's viewers. Hoping to get a fantastic update the next time.

Excellent and time saving app. It would take me hours rather than seconds to find all of the additional information in the PDF collection. Okay the majority of the papers contained in the PDF section are of little help but the two or three useful papers have at times directly changed the direction of my written work. AI is here to stay and can only get better. Perfect starting point for anybody embarking research

Promising. Need more metadata when browsing papers, year, citations, etc. Need ability to sort, filter, etc. by year, citations, etc. when searching especially. Library needs organization capability, by project, with tags, etc. Ability to annotate and write notes for each paper, but aggregate as well. Recognize and follow citations in papers (loading a preview of the abstract, and easily navigate through and come back) This has to be better than google scholar + spreadsheet + file system

Hugely recommend this app!! A wide variety of interesting academic papers for free. I read papers on my breaks at work and it is helping me feel a lot more prepared for my master's by not only letting me read into my subject area but keeping in touch with the academic style and language that will be required of me.
