A Google user
This has been the best of about 5 apps like it that I have tried, 4 of which are considered " best", but come with too many ads or connections to 3rd party businesses. The free version of this app does a great job of allowing you to track progress and keep up with your diet log. Being able to set goals, adjust nutrients, and add to the library of foods is also easy. I usually give apps like this a 3 month trial, this is still month 1, and it is standing strong.

Very user friendly. All the food I've had so far I've been able to find in the app, which is very convenient. I especially like that you can enter portions by weight or volume. Common foods such as tomatoes even have multiple serving options which makes it so much easier, like whole medium tomato, cup of diced tomato, grams, etc.

I tried SEVEN apps, this is the only one that actually syncs your data with Google fit. Barcode scanner is below the standard for other calorie counting apps. It just doesn't work. Overall system is good but there are a couple more user friendly apps that just feel better to use. Aside from barcodes scan it has all the features I want, but as soon as one of the other apps I tried starts exporting calories to Google fit I'm switching back.

This app is great. It's easy to use, intuitive, and its UI is pleasing to look at. Adding foods is simple and the ability to record your weight and watch as it goes down is helpful. I haven't encountered any issues thus far but I also don't use the social media portion of the app. I strictly use the food/exercise diary and scale recording functions.

I have been using this app for several years, and recently it has nothing but giving me problems. Need to fix the issues. The Grams or Oz's wont show up on the food you pick have to go back 2 -3 times for it to acknowledge it. Second issue the schedule calories for certain days doesn't work. Have have 1600 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Other calories for the rest of the week, yet it doesn't acknowledge that either ? Maybe time to look for a new app. To back i liked this one.

MyFitnessPal refugee checking in here. Overall, the app seems pretty nice. I wish that it was easier to get to the barcode scanner (you have to go through the camera and then manually tap on the scanner) and sometimes I encounter a glitch after scanning where the app doesn't load up any nutritional info on the thing I just scanned, so I have to exit the app and re-enter. But it's definitely promising and it syncs to Google Fit unlike MFP!

it really is useful. But if you cook at home BEWARE! The recipe feature is useful when it WORKS! You type in your ingredients and steps and the app tells you how many calories and nutrients it has. Only problem is most of the time the app will randomly DOUBLE a few ingredients, making the calorie count USELESS! If it doubles everything it wouldnt be so bad, but noooo! And you can't edit recipes until they are no longer "under review" mine have been under review for DAYS! i can only eat takeout!

Great app! East to track what you eat (input) and how much you burn (output). Allows you to lose weight and maintain the loss. Easy to find foods. Selecting from recently eaten is great if you follow routines. It would be helpful if they carried a longer history for those who vary their routine more. Saved meals are huge time savers. I lost 118 pounds while using the app. I'm approaching maintenance mode now; accordingly, I've lost only 5 or so pounds in the last few months.

Love tracking my calories and weight with this app. The only thing I've noticed is when you go to add a food, sometimes there are 2 or 3 options for the same food, with different calorie amounts so I have to double check somewhere else before choosing. There is always the option to add your own entry but it's time consuming. It would be great if they would fact check and delete the incorrect ones! Other than that, I've enjoyed it!

Really user-friendly and it provides what you ask for. No constant notifications and reminders! You *can* ask for the reminders, but I love that it is a thing you select. It also has a good (and reliable, I've double-checked a few) crowd sourced set of foods and exercises, and it's very easy to add to.

I use this app for all my nutrition tracking. It's very customizable. I can set specific nutrient goals then bring up reports for the day or week to see how I'm doing on those. It's straightforward to add individual foods or save a group of individual foods for a meal you prep frequently. My only complaint is that the bar code scanner frequently fails to scan, causing me to go hunting through search for the food I'm eating.

Good interface but searching could be easier. Bar code scanning is awesome but I wish that recent foods had a search, and wasn't broken down by meal. I have a lot of the same thing for lunch or dinner so it's annoying to have to re search everything for dinner when I just had it for lunch. Also, I would like to be able to search all the food I've already had rather than just scrolling.

Very helpful. Slow to sync between app and web page. Update: I have used this app for 7 months and have exceeded my weight loss goals. Fun to use and has so many food references for look up. They just added dark mode and it's cool. I'll keep using it just because I think it is so important to know the nutritional value of the food you eat and IT'S FUN.

One of the easier to use calorie counting apps. I chose it over others because it's easy to enter foods, and they don't seem to have as much extra junk in the food searches. It would have been 5 stars except a few things: The app will prompt me to enter my weight for the day multiple times per day, and I wish the food entry was even more flexible when it comes to volume/weight. I don't want "roast chicken" to have multiple entries: one counting by weight and another by volume.

There's a weird glitch that duplicates items sometimes so I have to go back and delete items from the food log that appear twice. The picture feature didn't accurately capture items. For instance, I took a picture of 2 crackers and it suggested yogurt or sour cream. Don't like that the settings default to Monday as the beginning of the week and there doesn't seem to be a way to change the settings. It would also be nice to easily swipe to another day when logging items.

I like the app. Really straightforward, easy to navigate, and looking up food and putting in macros is very simple. My only knit picky complaint is not having the ability to have a preferred unit of measurement when punching in food. I always weigh everything in grams, so it can be a tiny bit tedious having to swap cups to grams every time I put something in the food diary. Other than that, it's a solid app for nutrition and weight monitoring.

Been using it for about 3-4 weeks now. Pretty easy to use, some of the food in the search may be off by a few calories but that's personally not a huge issue for me. There's an option to add your own if it doesn't match the label exactly though which is helpful. Good interface. I enjoy it. Update: I've lost over 60lbs thanks to being able to easily track my intake with this app. My only suggestion is to add a block button, it would be nice to block accounts that post irrelevant propaganda.

Great App with a few problems. When ever you switch to daily reports, it automatically sets it to week. You have to manually change it everytime and it is very annoying. If you want to look at a report from even 2 days ago, it wouldn't let you. Selection of foods is big, but I wasn't able to find some foods exactly. Notification to inform you how many calories you have left wasn't helpful and cluttered my notifications bar. I had to turn them off. Get applications for tracking Carb intake.
