I really like this app. The guy's voice on the meditations is very nice & calming, and I love the way everything progresses & builds. It's really helped me build a daily meditation habit, and I find that I look forward to using the app every day. I also like the simple & intuitive interface. The only wish that I could drag the trees to organize them the way I want them. I don't like how they randomly pop up and often cover other trees. But that's a small thing in a great app. Thank you!

This app is the only mindfulness I've ever been able to stick to. The sessions are short, and the man's voice is soothing, but more conversational than "new agey". I like that because it seems more authentic. There are also short, daily articles to read with applicable tips and information to help you make small changes in any area of your life.

I'm only a few days in, but already I love it. I'm excited to use it each day. Growing my own tree in a little digital forest is really cute and I get excited to see the progress I'm making mentally reflected by these cute trees. I also love that they present readings each day, but they break it up and include little quizzes here and there. Also, it's all FREE! Unlike many popular mental health apps I've tried, this one doesn't require any subscriptions or payments to access any of its features.

I've tried meditating over and over again but Atom is the only one I've been able to stick to! The simplistic design helps me keep my ADD in check and their advice on anchor habits has been really helping me out in everyday life. My only complaint is that the meditation sessions feel very repetitive, only teaching about breath control during the actual session. I learn more from the articles after the session has ended.

I've tried different apps to meditate. I've tried classes and videos. For one reason or another, I stop doing it. This app is different. I honestly look forward to meditating every day. The narrators voice is soothing. The app breaks everything into small bite size pieces that are so manageable and easy to understand. I feel more calm and balanced when I finish meditating with this app.

This is the first meditation app that I felt like I could actually stick with! I'm still only on the first day, but it seems amazing. The only thing I've noticed was in the meditation recording there was a little bit of microphone noise, but that didn't bother me too much. I'll update this if my opinion changes or if I don't end up finishing it, but so far I love it! (It does remind me of Atomic Habits a little bit, but I couldn't get myself to read the whole Atomic Habit book and I feel like this makes it way easier to follow along and it even makes it a habit to learn about habits/meditation!) Edit 11/16: I'm on my fifth day now, and it just gets better! The over-amplification noise isn't that bad in the later meditations. One cool thing I've noticed is that each day the meditations get slightly longer. The first being about three minutes, while the meditation I did today was about six minutes. The gradual pace of this app is absolutely phenomenal and the side lessons/ encouragement is amazing. I'll update again when I'm further through. Edit 11/26: Not much more to say. It's still amazing and I feel like the small improvements every day have really added up. The length of the meditations has increased to about 10 minutes, but some are longer and some are shorter. I have to say though, my forest is getting a little crowded! I'll add more to this review in the future! Edit 12/3: I finally Finished! After completing all of the 21 day meditations and lessons I was left in literal tears as I never did get that last tree...

I got an email to provide feedback for monetary reward, but I'll gladly give feedback for free guys. Atom is a great gamification app for meditation. It introduces the practice in an easy to understand way for beginners and you can really feel that the creators care about the users as people, not as piggy banks. Two small critiques, the audio quality isn't bad but could be improved, and the ability to set custom reminder notifications at a particular time would be a helpful feature.

I love this app a lot. It actually teaches you a lot, not just about meditating but learning how to build a habit too. I really like that I can get extra xp to go towards more trees and the articles at the end of each session. I only wish you could restart your journey, so like if you didn't use the app/meditate for a month you could restart at the beginning.

What happens with the data that comes from the post meditation writing prompt? Either it should be explicitly local and available for review or not stored at all. Once i decided a meditation practice was important, this became a really good tool. I like the combo of text, guided meditations, and the gamification with trees and points. The UI of the text needs some adjusting, there's often a final lesson/summary that requires scrolling but there's plenty of space. No overflow should fix that.

It could be a very helpful app for those who want to start meditation, but it lacks voice variety. Not all the people can connect with one voice or accent, so it would be wonderful if you used different narrators with different accents, like most guided meditation apps out there. And believe me "not being comfortable with narrator's voice" is a really big issue.

Excellent app for beginners. Simple interface and no ads. It gives you little lessons and quizzes everyday that give you experience point that are used to grow a little forest. And keeps track of your daily progress The course repeats every 130 days or so. I made it past day 260 and it started over for the third time so i think it's time to move on but it helped me turn meditation from a once in a while thing into a daily habit.

I really love this app. Each meditation is different but builds on each other, so you can feel progress being made and have many chances to practice techniques. I have a decent amount of experience with different guided meditations, and this app has some different takes on things that I haven't encountered before, and which have helped me deepen my practice. Bonus points for not keeping a daily streak counter. Often, if I fall off of a streak, I won't return, so this is great.

I saw a post by someone how they had fewer/no breakdowns ever since they started meditating. So I wanted to try it out and I wanted a guided, easy to follow meditation app. And this is just so nice! I like the daily lessons after each session. I like that it doesnt require me to focus or meditate for more than 5 mins. It's simple, easy and oh, a cute layout too!

Was loving it until I got to day 4 and it won't load anything. Makes it hard to build a habit when the thing you're using to build it stops working. Edit: I loved being able to use the YouTube videos while they fixed the issues, the app was back up this morning and I was able to grow another tree. Loving it so far, really looking forward to solidifying my meditation habit.

Atom is exactly what I have been looking for in terms of simplicity and its incorporation of mindfulness activities. My favorite part is the fact that the app allows users to set reminders for their meditation times, and it also includes articles to read before each session. A big theme that they discuss is motivation and the development of habits, which is reinforced through the growth of a digital forest. For every meditation and accompanying article you complete, a little tree is planted!

If you're looking for a simple, free way to begin meditating, this is a fantastic way to start. I'm only on day three, but I love how short and clear these first meditation sessions are and how supportive the app feels, overall. Some of the verbal cues have delivered very helpful visuals or reminders during the practice. I look forward to uncovering more and hopefully developing into longer sessions (currently, they last about 3 minutes each, but I imagine we'll build).

For some reason, these meditations were some of the easiest I've tried. Sam uses simple concepts, no mystical approach here, and he offers ample eloquent pauses. The one complaint I have is that I changed the activity preceding meditation several times but it kept reverting back to the default. I even contacted their support team and it didn't get fixed. Hope that bug is fixed soon.

Nice guidance on how to build new habits (creating a meditation practice, primarily, but you can apply their techniques to other goals). I took away a star between March and November because after the latest update, it seems many of the trees in my forest (which you "grow" each session as motivation/a depiction of your progress) have vanished. Also, the sessions definitely repeat over time, but that doesn't bother me too much.
