The shutterfly customer service is amazing, and very helpful! The app, however, is not. I have had 4 projects missing photos, in the last 3 months. 1 project, shutterfly noticed and stopped production and emailed me to correct it. The other 3 have been sent to me, missing these photos. I have used this app for 4 years, now, and never had an issue with missing photos, until the last 3 months. Thank you, shutterfly, for making this right for me!

The app is easy to use and the quality of the pictures is good, but lately the shipping fees have been out of control. The app exclusive of getting 4x6 prints free is great, but then it wants to charge like $16 in shipping? It's actually a better deal to pay for the prints during a free shipping promo. Other than that, I love the options available and the fact that it saves all of my uploaded pictures.

For what it is, it's not bad, would like more editing features like being able to move text boxes and such. Not super hard to use but seems to lag a little when going to checkout had to wait about 5 minutes for it to "prepare photos". Reminded me of waiting for dial up internet to load all it needed was the iconic beeps and it would have been a total flashback.

The only thing that is difficult is selecting your photo. There are many steps and it gets annoying. The app selects default photos but you have update the photos each time after selecting one. If there is an easier way it is not user friendly. Otherwise the deals are awesome. My cart was about $98. Once I applied the 3 offers it was under $11. I have only ordered magnets but I preordered one first just to see how it would come and I loved it.

You can make some great things. It is a little complicated for a few things. For example when I kept trying to do frames or exchange pictures it would randomly kick me out of what I was doing. Which could be pretty frustrating sometimes. Once you figure out how to add more pictures or customize the pages it can turn out really cool though. I just wouldn't say it is the easiest to work worth. I could see my mom getting irritated and just quiting after it kicks you out but it does save your work!!

I like the photo options, and the sales. The quality is nice. If I change out photos on a collage too much, like 7-8 times, my phone freezes for a moment. Then I just close the app and open it back up again. You can log into shutterfly online too. Other than that the app is easy to use and the pictures come out in high quality. The customer service is very helpful and kind as well.

I love that my photos can automatically be uploaded to the app, and I can see them on the computer. I wish I could change projects made in the app on the computer and vise versa. I also wish there were more options like stickers, more backgrounds, and the option to move and resize photos. All in all, it is the app and not the full version. It is still useful and even has special deals just for the app.

Terrible App! I have never had an easy time with their app. Crashes constantly. Doesn't save projects. Can't edit existing projects, but some deals can't be processed on website. It's ridiculous. They should also be more transparent about the shipping too. Funny how that shipping price changes between a "free" item and a paid item (test it, its true). I tried and tried Shutterfly, but I give up. You've lost me for good this time.

Many options to choose from, allowing each individual the creativity to make each piece their own. I've experienced glitches with allowing me to move forward once an item is created; not going past preview to check out and pay for it. Extremely frustrating when that occurred, but thankfully it went through a few days later when using a different device.

I would give it 5 stars if I could have the option to go back into the same item right away. Its very frustrating when (for example) I am getting magnets. I every time I add an item to the cart, when I choose "continue shopping" it takes me back to the home page and I have to search for the items again... Long drawn out process that is highly anniying and makes me spend less time on it than I normally would, meaning that I am Not spending the money I normally would.

If you create a project on PC, you cannot edit in the app. But reordering prints or projects is a very easy. Also, when editing albums in the app, it doesn't warn you as you approach the limit on the number of pictures you're adding--maybe 99 or 100. Anything over that, when you're ready to "add" and you hit the ✔️ mark--it deselects all your pics; you have to start over! It's upsetting, especially when creating multiple albums on the same theme.

At first I thought it was a great app - unlimited free storage and free prints sounded pretty good. However, when it came to navigating the app I repeatedly ran into problems and couldn't find things or figure out how to accomplish basic tasks. When I finally had an order ready, I discovered that shipping costs are rediculously expensive! For basic 4x6 prints I was being charged $26 in shipping only! Let's be clear, I was ordering a lot (250), but that stack would still fit in a shoe box!

I love all of the free offers with coupons, but the shipping prices are incredibly high, so getting something "free" ends up being the same price as a competitor's products if the competitor offered free shipping. Therefore, I end up getting just what I need at the same price anywhere else rather than feeling like I got a great deal. The app is great and convenient so once something (a collage, print, magnet, etc) is created, I go with it rather than starting over elsewhere. The product quality from Shutterfly is usually great, though. :)

The sales are always exceptional! That is why I'm willing to use Shutterfly despite the time it takes to create an order. I also struggle with how to navigate within the app. There aren't clear instructions how to choose the photos you want to order & from where you want to choose them from (FB, Instagram,etc..) If one is needing to edit an order, it's difficult to "go back". It's then just as hard finding the place where you left off.

Had a few mishaps with the app... on my own accord. One order was lost in shipping, reorder was not cropped properly after arriving late due to first issue. I was so disappointed. None of which I consider shutterfly at fault for, but I sent them an email about how I was not happy and they fixed everything in its entirety and more. Awesome, I love that. Thank you.

Ok, so it has some great features but a few issues. I feel if you're going to make an app to put together something like a scrapbook, an undo/redo button would be helpful. Another thing, I tried to checkout my purchase and the whole app started freaking out. I had to close the app and wait half an hour before I could make anything work. Other than that it was relatively easy to use, just a little frustrating when I switched themes and messed up my layouts.

When they say "free" they mean not terribly overpriced. Very difficult to use with a smartphone. You have to go through way too many repetitive steps and menus to do the exact same thing. I want 10 magnets of the same exact type (upload your own design). I have to start from the beginning for each one. It also keeps deleting uploaded photos every time I do anything. I want 10, I upload 30 possible photos. Each time I complete a magnet I see that more photos I never even tried to use have disappeared. By the time I have completed 5 it has randomly deleted the other 25. There is no way to get them back except to re upload them. I do like the finished product after the extremely frustrating process. The 10 "free" magnets are approximately $24. and are sent in an envelope.

The app is overall pretty awesome. I do have a suggestion though. There needs to be an undo button of some sort where it will reset itself to a previous condition if you accidentally click the wrong thing. I found this I tried to learn to use the app that after I had adjusted frames, drag-and-drop to pictures around and edited things over all that when I went to look at other options it changed the layout and messed up all of my previous work.
