The illustrations are cute, but the subscription price is ridiculous. It's $8 a month and $80 for the year, and nearly all of the cute plants are locked behind a subscription barricade. I do subscription-based services on a regular basis, and I've never paid $8/month for a service that only tracks one thing. They would honestly get more money in the long run from more people paying less money, but hey! Not my business 🤷‍♀️

The app is very cute, I like the idea of watering plants to track water intake, but I wish it was more passive. The plant levels up too quickly so I'm selecting a new one every 3 days and if I don't it says too much water every time. There is no way to undo if I put in the wrong amount. Previous days show on a chart but there is no way to select them to see more detail or to add water.

This app is great! The art is really cute, and it's super motivating. I am giving it 3 stars for a few reasons: 1. You can't put in odd/custom amounts of water. So if I had 22 oz, I would have to figure out a clever way to use the existing cups to get to that number, but then be told I'm drinking too fast because I recorded multiple cups. 2. If I accidentally put in the wrong number of ounces, there's no way to change it. It would be great to be able to edit! 3. Sometimes it freezes on me.

This is such a fun way to stay motivated to drink water! The animations are cute, so is the light music and plant sounds! My only complaint is that we can't look up our drinking history (outside of how many ounces we had total each day this week, but not when) and we can't alter it. Say it's just past midnight and I forgot to log a few cups? Too bad! Gotta log them the next day or lose them! That's they only thing that really bugs me. I super appreciate this app!

This app has helped with staying hydrated. But with that being said there's a few issues with the app. The main one is that it won't let me open it now that I've completed the first 3 plants. Every time I open it to put in my water it's closes itself from 5-10 times which is extremely annoying. I hope this goes away but im probably going to end up deleting it cause there's no point in having the app if I can't use it :(

It's adorable, and a great reminder. I just cannot imagine paying for a subscription at the prices they have! 😳 I was ready to pay around 20-30 for a year, or see what a lifetime subscription would cost but there's not an option for that. Too bad, bc the features seem neat! The only thing that is a small pain is that it takes a bit to load, and I have to stop what I'm doing and wait.

[See below for update] Love it! This has really helped me remember to stay hydrated throughout the day. The plants are adorable and encouraging. I've even noticed that when my plant feels good, I feel good too. Wonderful app! Update: I had to uninstall and reinstall the app because it just wouldn't open. This is very frustrating, but luckily you can save your progress by signing into Google or Facebook. I guess everything's alright now, but it was a frustrating experience.

Really cute app and great inspo. Used old one until an update caused to crash while loading (android). I'm excited this one works again! Definitely more encouragement to watch ads but not to the point of being awful. My major complaint is there's no option to manually set a water goal. Goal is determined by a formula which is fine for some but I medically need more. Only way to adjust is to lie about weight/activity until you get close to what you want. It works but isn't really precise.

The app is cute and great in theory. I've been using it since the original Plant Nanny years ago, which IMO was perfect and didn't need to be changed. However, I'm finally uninstalling it because it's gone downhill in the amount of features it offers for free. If I go even one day without using it, it stops giving me notifications to drink water. Which is, you know, the bare minimum of a water reminder app. And no I do not feel like paying $70 a year or whatever it is for the premium.

I find this helpful to track and motivate hydration. I find it extremely annoying that I can't log yesterday's water after midnight and that when I enter more than one drink at a time, pop ups yell at me to drink slower. I can't always open my phone whenever I finish drinking water and need to enter it all later. The app only works for people who can log data in real time, which is impractical. The most recent update made the app stop working on my phone. I can't log back in.

I was using this app for weeks and I absolutely love it. Then, as of last week (I think?) it keeps freezing on the opening start-up screen and will go no further. After several tries, it'll suddenly, finally work, and then the next time I open the app again after turning off my phone, it will be stuck again. I haven't been able to get in today at all. I would have given five stars before this problem, but now I'm frustrated. I don't want to lose all my sweet little plants!!

Love this app! It totally serves it's intended purpose and helps me drink enough water each day, especially because I love collecting the creatures! My only critiques would be that some of the English language could use a little editing, and also it's really annoying that you get the "don't drink too fast" warning every time you input more than one glass. I forget to add my water sometimes and so I add it all at once, based on my memory of what glasses I've used each day.

Still new to the app, will update review as I have more experience. So far it's a cute little way to remember to drink water through the day. Wish there was a way to add multiple cups without negative "over watering" issues, in the case where I forget to log the amount of water I've had in a period of time and want to add in what I missed at one time.

Good, but could use improvements. It scolds you for entering too much water at a time, but i can't always log my water as i drink it. It would be nice to be able to do that. Also wish it were easier to get higher level plants. It feels "pay to play" when you want something more than the basic free plant. I assume it gets easier as you progress, but starting is slow.

Overall an awesome app! A little glitchy occasionally, but it always ends up working fine when I come back. A fun way to keep track of my water intake...and good motivation because I feel inordinately guilty if/when I let my poor little plant go thirsty! It would be even better if it were possible to track a previous day's intake - sometimes I just can't get into the app in time to record before midnight, and not because I missed out on the water...just because I had no time to open the app.

Great app, but premium sub too expensive. I love this app. It's very motivating to get me to drink. But it's also frustrating only having the free version because there are a lot of features that I can't access and a lot of cool plants. But the premium subscription fee is way too expensive! Even if you buy it at an annual rate. So I'll just keep using it for free. No intrusive ads either. You get rewarded for watching a short ad

Love the concept, but super annoyed by basic features requiring premium services. I also wish there was a way to be reminded to drink water every custom amount of minutes. Some people have medical conditions and the only way to get proper water intake in is to drink around the clock. When busy with work, it's easy to forget and you can't just down a bottle of water to catch up. So blah. I will say, I love the water tracker game concept. It's a super cool idea to keep a person on goal.

I have used this only about a week or so. It does motivate me to drink more throughout the day instead of downing a liter or more at night. However, it still would be nice to edit previous days that you didn't log in to have a more accurate history (for those who care) and a way to set your own individual water goal (or a flexible goal range). Currently, you are encouraged to drink only to a specified amount,no more no less, and the app limits the goal consumption.
