Amazon Photos lets you store and share full-resolution photos, keeping favorite moments secure and in the spotlight. I really do enjoy the app, very user friendly. I have one big problem, I chose this service for the people option. According to the websites and forums, it is only unavailable in Illinois. I don't have the option at all. This is honestly extremely disappointing and makes it very difficult to sort through my photos as there are thousands.

The simplest cave man app ever. There's no select all options. There's no auto select folders. There's no option to select a folder to upload. There's no option to upload an album. It doesn't create an album when you upload an album. You can't select all from an album. There's a giant "memories" banner instead of being able to see folders and albums. Daily shuffle...does your PO have a phone to see how a gallery works? Who comes up with these features?

An excellent app, but one thing frustrates me. I use it to back up photo shoots where I literally took thousands of pictures. If I want to select all the photos in a particular folder, I have to select them manually by selecting the first one, pulling down, and then holding my finger down while it scrolls to the last image. That can take several minutes in a large folder, unless I'm missing some secret gesture or command. A 'select all' command seems like an obvious omission here.

Not user friendly. The only way to select photos to add to an album is manually selecting each photo. In an age where during a two week vacation over 1000 photos are shot, this is ridiculous. If there is a way to add photos in a bulk, I could not find it, which is still a testament to a bad UX design. One would think that Amazon could afford an app with the most basic features that are obvious for all the other apps. The good points are the unlimited photo storage for prime members

I love Amazon Photos! What a wonderful way to deal with the incredible amount of digital photos my family and I have taken over the years. I love getting a daily look into the past with notifications on what happened this day in past years. Also the ability to sort by person, or even search photos is incredible. It's also cheaper than google if you already subscribe to prime! The only downside is the app doesn't delete photos off your phone like Google photos. If it did that I would give it 5

HORRIFIC! Don't waste the time out of your day installing it. This used to be a simple easy to use photo storage app (As it should be!) & now for some reason it has been turned it in to an un-useable, un-navigatable mess! It doesn't have a single redeeming feature. I can only assume that's Amazon trying to discourage people from using it. Especially with the cloud service being terminated

Great for storing photos as long as you don't want to share them or view the family vault. The updated app is horrible, and you can only access your own photos even after tapping notifications that others have added to a group. They've taken an app that was awesome and ruined its functionality trying to make it pretty.

Seems really easy- I come back & it's done. Not real speedy, but faster than sites I tried a few years back that were slow manual loads.. Much better. And it's spacious, with good options for expansion. This makes it great for watercolor artists wanting to work from a variety of subject photos. And there is a way to buy prints cheaply. I've lost photos in a fire that were being prepped to move to digital copies. & to dropping a device in water. This is a great solution. Thanks A.

I don't like the format of the app to begin with, but I want cloud photo and video storage and I already pay for Prime so it's a good option for me. But something changed and I can't easily upload photos anymore and it is extremely frustrating. The "share" option in my phones' gallery doesn't list Amazon Photos anymore and if you go through the app itself to upload photos, you have to manually chose one at a time. The "solutions" from support didn't help.

Update as of 05/13/2023. Since the update, the app is confusing and lacking in functions. You can not even search for photos. I went from loving this app to hating it. I love using this app. It keeps all of my photos and allows me to use them as a screensaver of my Fire TVs. I especially like that I can hide the pictures I don't like or delete pictures from my device right from the app. I am so glad that Amazon came up with this feature. Thanks Amazon. ❤️

This app is very barebones and doesn't even have the same features as the web interface. I can't see any albums or photos that were shared with me on the web on either the mobile app or even the desktop one. It's 2023. Why is there no parity between these features? Please look at other photo apps like Google Photos and strive to offer at least those features as a baseline. Also I can't even reverse sort pictures, only one-way sorting. Why? This needs a lot of QoL fixes.

This app is rather frustrating. I can go through and add hundred of pictures to a person's profile, one by one, or delete pics (memes & such that uploaded automatically), turn off the app, reopen and lo and behold... The changes didn't stay. I have to say it is pretty annoying and frustrated. I have spent an hour organizing, only to have it reset the second I restart the app. Also if I have the audacity to try and delete more than about 20 at a time the app will freeze. Likely changing services

I like the photo storage. I have been able to keep photos that I have long forgotten that I even took. I also like the memories feature. However, there hasn't been an update that really takes this app to the next level. Considering, the photo quality can be iffy (there have been times where I have to edit them.), The layout on Kindle isn't the greatest and it's harder to sort and organize is a big downer. On the phone, it's okay but still not great.

The new interface is practically unusable and un user friendly. I relied on being able to bring up a page grid of people, now I the only option I have is a very small one row of pics that I have to scroll through through just awful. The other option that seems to be missing is access hidden photos.

I finally figured out how to completely use Alexa which I've been using Google Assistant which is fine but when you're dealing with Amazon Alexa is definitely on the ball. Not that assistant isn't but I don't know. I read them about the same except for Alexis seems more, how should I say femalee... soothing there you go, that's the word! And if you have Google then this is different than Google photos but not too much different it shouldn't take you that long to figure it out. Good storage, fast

I love this app. I didn't even realize that I had access to store my photos let alone limitless! I also like the fact that the app organizes the photos by date. Saves space on my phone and time as I do not have to organize. I'm a mom and take a lot of photos. I like that I can browse to find a picture from this year or that. It also recognizes what is in the picture and you can search by content. So amazing from the physical heavy photo albums I grew up with.

Can't order prints or albums. Took the time to add photos, put in order, etc, etc, for an album book only for it to keep saying oops try again. Even tried to just order prints, same thing, oops try again. Don't waste your time like I did. Edited to add....after reading the update information, of course it's not available in Canada ( insert eye roll ).

This app is terrible!!! It says my storage is full, so i can't upload any photos, but when i go to my storage, it says it's 50% full! All my photos that are saved were automatically saved without my permission. Now, i have to delete them all just so i can print ONE photo!!! This is super frustrating, and i can't even do it on the website as back up. Ughh! FIX THIS APP!!!!!
