PhotoWear Classic is compatible with Android Wear OS watches and select Samsung watches, including the Galaxy Watch4 and Watch5, the Google Pixel, and Fossil Gen 6.

PhotoWear Classic NO LONGER supports Samsung/Tizen-based smartwatches (including the Gear S3, Sport, and legacy Galaxy series).

PhotoWear Classic NO LONGER supports the older generation of smartwatches running the legacy Android Wear OS 1.X, including the original Asus ZenWatch, LGE G Watch, Samsung Gear Live, Sony SmartWatch 3, and the Moto 360.

Love the Screensaver! It gives you an option to have at least nine photos that are interchangeable on your watch. I do however wish the photos would change periodically on their own without having to manually click on the photo you'd like to show on the display of your watch.

It's a great app. I used a photo of the face of my Rolex and I feel like I have a Rolex on my smartphone. I would give the Premium version 5 stars if you add 'next event' as an option on the watch face. Also, when you list the features of the watch, you don't mention that they are for the premium $3.99 price, although in an answer to somebody, you said you did mention it. Well ... you don't!

Pretty good app. Haven't found anything I don't like about it yet, and it works as advertised. It's even worth paying the money for pro. Would recommend (and have) to friends Maybe could use a couple extra different clock styles. I also like one that comes with the watch that allows you to customize your own brand name for the watch. Also maybe look into widgets or whatever they are called to be compatible with this app so that way it can function the same as the factory face styles

Brilliant and simple to use, would love to have a few more options please 🙏 The clock needs 2 separate colours for minutes and hours and also an option for XXL + sizes as XL is still on the small size. And the battery indicator needs a colour and size option aswell as this is too small. The option to pick more parts of the screen to place the clock and attery would help as not to cover certain parts of a photo. Great app. 👌

Don't bother, looks OK but its a hidden money scamming waste of time. Cheers for deleting 20 mins of my life ill never get back. The issue is that its mistakenly shown as a free download that offeres you the ability to display a single photo. Now if thats what you offer for free or suggest then regardless you should honour that display even if its a single photo only. But the reality is, you have to use the gridded version unless a fee is paid. Everything is a pro purchase. It is misleading.

Needs a better typeface and style for the always on display. It looks blah ( the AOD). Update: added a star (from 3) as the updates are excellent. Operations are smooth. It's still missing some things that would make it, at least for me, a 5 star app. But as is, one of the best apps out there! Two thumbs up!

I went through several apps trying to find one I like. I got this 2 years ago, I even paid the premium. It has the features I want and it works for me. Make sure you look over all features because if they don't have something you'll want....don't get it. No reason to complain in the reviews. Uninstall and move on - unless you're like me. I kept it and love it!

Cannot use it on Galaxy S22 Ultra with Watch4. The app is saying that the smartwatch should be connected throught bluetooth and not wifi. But my watch is connected throught bluetooth and not wifi already. Restarted the app but the same error. I even turned off my WiFi and still the same error message. Sheesh

Works pretty good, nice customization app, I wished, however, it would have a way to turn off ambient mode. I don't need that I want my photo to be always on the display.

People who talking trash about this app, must not really know how to use it, the free version is great, I have a Fossil gen 6 smartwatch and I can load my personal pics onto my watch face with minimal effort, and I can double tap and have access to nine photos to choose from for my watchface, thank you for this amazing app, keep it coming, also they offer way more options compared to other apps of this concept.

Great when it still worked. Added a photo, and now I can't change to any other. Restarted watch and phone, switched watch face and back, still doesn't change. Claims to send, but doesn't, and watch is definitely connected. Glad I bought the full version out of my Google Awards credit. I'll give five stars if this can be fixed. And oh yes, you can't send the preloaded photos at all, only change them.

Great app, does what it says on the tin. Just got a few requests: 1) Could you add the option to remove the minute markers on the watch faces please? I've got a Ticwatch pro and it has minute markers on the bezzle. 2) I love how you can choose which battery percentage (phone or watch) I can put on the watch face, but could you could you add the option to add both of them please? 3) Lastly, could you add more watchfaces? The ones on the app are great, I just like having the choice as I do change the style pretty often. Other than that, this app is awesome! Pro version - Ticwatch Pro

You can adjust photos according to your taste, including being able to flip them to make it easier to show others the photo. Would be good to make this possible on the watch face itself, or at least from the watch, rather than accompanying phone app. It is a good watch app, worthwhile.

So far so good! Bought the pro version to get all the customizable settings. Some more settings for the auto advance like setting up the timing before changing the photo and ability to have photos change on a time basis without the photo changing everytime the watch goes from ambient to full brightness would be nice. A second hand on the analog watch would be nice as well. Also having more than 9 photos in the que please! Changes bring more stars.

Lovely app! I noticed that Samsung has a similar internal app, but the images don't look as nice on it. I hope in the future, you can add the "complication" feature, as well as more watch designs. I like the "minimal" watch design but I would like one completely without numbers, and one with roman numerals too. I would also like to be able to change settings on my watch instead of having to always go into the app.

I searched for an app like this for ages and I'm glad that I finally found it. I bought the pro version right away, because I knew that it will be worth it. It tried out every function the app has and to be honest, I was overwhelmed by the amount of settings you can make. I ported my own drawing on it and it displays it in good quality and color. But there is a slight screen flackering when pictures are displayed in ambient mode. And I wish for more clock features for the analog display.

I've deleted my original msg wondering if this app is compatible with the "GalaxyWatch 4" For people with the Galaxy watch 4 YOU DO NOT NEED ANOTHER App to USE YOUR OWN PHOTOS!! Just simply go into "Watch Faces" & click "ALL" & Scroll down to "Photo+" Not only can you use any & ALL of your photos in your gallery, but you can also customize the background (which is your photo), but also the clock type & compositions (which are displayed around your image on the screen). HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL!!

Just terrible experience. Synchronizing the photos actually leaves them going black or blank. Everything kind of displays or refreshes really slowly. The paid version didn't do anything (no time on the watch face). I was unable to get refund within minutes of purchase because of a 3rd party?? I will never get a paid version of Samsung Galaxy watch companion and maybe Google play app. They should make it way way more simple to get a refund for a defective app.
