Make sure your Samsung watch is connected with your smartphone through the “Galaxy Wearable” app & bluetooth is turned on for both your phone and smartwatch

Download & Install “Facer Companion for Samsung Watch” from the Samsung Galaxy App Store

Long press on your Samsung smartwatch and scroll to select “Facer” as your chosen watchface. That's it!

Update to previous poor rating. After several attempts at getting it to work with the phone I was able to finally get it to work. It's a good app and all in all does what it says. The only complaint I would have would be the ease of maybe I should say difficulties of setup needs some big improvements. I can't tell you how it what they need to do but setup was not as intuitive as it could be.

Does the app often remove any watch faces you've previously added to your like tab? And then subsequently remove the face you are currently using on your watch? Sounds awesome! The app also has way too many ads. I get it, subscribe then, but Jesus Lord. I couldn't navigate to the settings because one ad after another kept dropping down from the top of the screen, covering the hamburger menu at the top left. I had to close the app and reopen it just to access the settings. That's a tad much.

I used this app when I had the original moto 360 and had nothing but good things to say. Almost a decade later I get back into a smartwatch and here we are. The app works as intended but I uninstalled it after 3 notifications pop up IN A SINGLE DAY from Facer to talk about getting new faces or try premium features or whatever. I could disable notifications from the app sure, but I don't appreciate the bombardment from any app, much less one that just displays pretty clocks. Ridiculous.

There are so many faces to choose from but no filter options, only categories (free, classic, etc.). For free faces, the face won't stay put. When the watch wakes up, there's an "error" type message and then a 2 second delay while the face loads. Not sure if it happens with paid faces but I'm not willing to find out.

It's probably because of the low-spec of my watch, but Facer damn near bricked it. I understand the Ticwatch Pro S isn't the most powerful, but when I even tried reverting back to other faces to try and fix the it, Facer would switch itself back. The only solution to recovering my watch back to usability was an uninstall, and it was a struggle to even get to the app drawer. Unacceptable you force the face to go back to yours.

Faces are nice. Even the free ones. The app is the issue. I own a galaxy watch active2 and when I touch the face to wake the watch it takes about 5 to 7 seconds before the watch actually comes on. That time may be small. But for me to want a quick glance while I'm driving it does get annoying. That's why I give only three stars. Fix the speed in which it wakes and I'll give it 5.

Some nice looking faces but I detest all the push ads and constant annoyances of bullying you to subscribe. There's an ad for every function that you do and some of them quite misleading not related to watch faces at all. Plus the lack of integration with being able to launch apps other apps from the watch faces and other functions from the faces are a real deal breaker.

So this app is amazing for what it does, you can easily change your watch face. However it's way too in your face with exclusive offers for in-app purchases. It's too much, honestly I wouldn't mind if they were ads. When the app is constantly pushing subscriptions and 'exclusive deals' on you it can get quite tiresome. The UI is a bit of mess too, but unfortunately I can't go into detail. If you want new cool watch faces download the app, but there are some things they can work on.

I have a Samsung Active 2 and it's a love/hate relationship with Facer. PROS: 1. It's free with so many to choose from. 2. I like to change my face a lot, so this works great for me. 3. You can download their super user-friendly program, design your own, and upload it for others to use! CONS: 1. It seems like it is not responding to my arm gesture anymore. 2. Rebooting both the watch and phone may work, but not for long. 3. When you restart your watch, Facer takes quite awhile to load.

This app is a great way to find a quality watch face. It's easy to use and it's great that you can save favorites. The one problem I have with the app is that when a face designer decides to leave/quit/whatever, all of the cool watch faces you favorited are gone too. Very annoying! Also, it would be nice if we could leave a heart or thumbs up for watch face designers. In addition to the comments :).

I do not represent the company in any kind of way. Facer is an excellent app with many beautiful, different watch face choices. It is somewhat easy to use and a lot of great free choices. There are also a lot of great paid selections as well as the option to make your own watch face. Facer was recommended to me by a friend and also by a youtuber doing a video about installing a smart watch band. Very well worth the download!

Weather very wrong. I like the app and the warch faces, great selection. I'd even be willing to pay for some of them. I'm even willing to deal with the ads in the app. But the weather is 10+ degrees off. This ruins the experience for me. Facer, please stop using Openweather for the data, or give an option for some other weather service and I'll come back. For now, I'm uninstalling.

For the most part I love this app! I didn't want to mess with buying each watch face that I like so I purchased the premium. I wish some of the faces were more customizable so I could add or remove the things I want. The developer should give better step by step directions in how to load the app and then the faces because it is not completely user-friendly. Thankfully I have some experience with developing and testing software. I haven't had any battery issues (Samsung watch 4 classic).

I use Facer as my primary watchface app on my Huawei Watch 2. I really enjoy the large number of watchfaces at my fingertips and gladly upgraded to the paid version for the extra features. However, lately, I have been having a great deal of trouble with the watchfaces. They freeze often, and the only way to get the watchface to reset appears to be to restart my watch. Even switching to another installed watchface (not through Facer) only occasionally fixes the Facer app. It will often just give me a black screen when I switch back to it and take several minutes to reinitialize, if it does at all. I can't access the Facer settings menu when it is frozen. My watchface froze at 1:42AM, and now it is 2:06AM. I switched to another watchface and went back to Facer. After a minute of a black screen, it gave me the Facer logo, which lasted for another minute or two... and now I'm back to a black screen. I can access my watch's other functions just fine. I truly hope that the Little Labs team fixes the app soon, because I'm afraid that I am going to have to stop using it for a while. This is just getting to be too frustrating.

Really good value for VIP. A few things that I wish you could do would be to filter by settings. as an example I would like to filter and see all of the digital watch faces that include step counts and heart rate. Instead I currently have to pour through every watch face in digital. Overall, this is a really good value. The free faces are nice but the premium ones take it up an extra level and totally worth the extra fee.

Lot of ads, but thats fine since the watch faces are free. There is a paid version, and I'm sure it's worth it if I was going to use all the features the app has to offer, but I just want a simple watch face. It's really slow to change faces which is a drawback, and I'm not too fond of needing to keep an entire app rather than just downloading/buying a single watch face from said app. Some of the designs are really cool though and the creators have done a great job with it.

I love the watch faces. The designs are great and plentiful even if you stick to the free ones, and the daily random mix is always fun. The interface though is what gets this two stars. The face struggles to wake up with my wrist flick (Samsung Active 2), and sometimes Facer restarts altogether. After a couple instances of needing the time quickly and having Facer restart I had to uninstall - just not reliable enough. Maybe I'll try again in a year to let them work out bugs.

Its alright, but the app is visually cluttered, and notifications in-app occur way too often. Paired with the ads, this app pursues a maximalist design language instead of a minimalist one. I'd like to see some filters too: top of the week, month, year, and all-time would be nice. I was able to find some watch faces that are good, and core features are solid and work well. A bit less color, removing the sale banners, and a dark background would go a long way in improving the cleanliness! :)
