The only difficulty of had is with posting videos and photos. So recently I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and that corrected the issue. But there does seem to be some compatibility issues at times. I would like to be able to post things on my timeline that only I can see that's a feature Facebook has but still does not exist on MeWe.

Id definitely recommend it, the layout and customization allowed is unrivaled in the current social media landscape. The only issue is that there aren't as many thriving communities and it's likely you won't find one's you're interested in. That's the experience I've had anyway. Though if you and a group of friends are just looking for a small hub to communicate and share with each other its pretty great.

A great social network for folks who don't want Facebook manipulating them. The app itself has really good customization, hampered by the fact that it doesn't coordinate very well. Tap a notification and that post will still show up as new in the app itself. View a thread from the in-app notifications, and the phone notification doesn't go away. It's a minor annoyance but it's consistent enough I can't give 5 stars.

Ad-free and Facebook free excellence!! when I saw that people's rights were starting to be taken away I decided I had to go somewhere who was fair. Fortunately this provides my family and I away to communicate from remote areas without the hassle of intrusion. Could use a few more features to make it easier to navigate. Overall definitely worth a try.

the app itself is great. The privacy that I get as well as the freedom to post what ever I want and have groups of any kind that I want is amazing. This is Facebook's real competition. However it does have some regular technical issues. Every couple updates it gets some major bugs and parts of the app won't work. The app is ever-evolving and getting better I hope it gets sorted out soon

This is a great site and its features work well. The main concern for me is not existing functionality but lack of a more robust group of connections and sites, as so many are still hanging on with FB, and the lack of live stream / video upload capability. I love the freedom to express myself without constant monitoring and tags (like FB), but, except for a few dear friends, I'm feeling a bit like an island.

Good, clean appearance and interface, but the Android version of this app eats posts, comments, and messages all the time, with no rhyme or reason. It's a serious turnoff. Edit: it's gotten better. It's now officially less glitchy than the Android Facebook app, and accesses a better platform. That said, it now seems to have trouble downloading media when using certain WiFi networks now.

The search function doesn't show a lot of conversations I try to find by keyword when I know for a fact they're there, and the search also censors/blocks from searching "bad" words like when I tried finding a word on the topic of "buttons" which didn't show up because it has "butt" in it. If this is fixed there would be no issue, but this is very annoying.

I like the integrated groups feed filter and moderation free approach. With that comes a few more spammy advert posts in groups, but its been tolerable. The BIGGEST recommendation would be a better search function. Right now, its so dependent on exactly spelling and capitalization that it can sometimes be hard to find who you're looking for It feels like a growing platform. Some wrinkles need to be worked out, but if you can be patient and just use it, I think it could be a good alternative

I want to like this app but it seems hard to navigate at times. Also, I don't like friend requests showing up in my email, though I did see to unsubscribe that. There also seems to be a lot of double posting and there seems to be a lot to wade through to get back to an article you were interested in. The more groups you can find with your interests is good too. The gold coin buying posts are annoying.

got the app in Nov. So far I can say it is a good alternative to Google+. I have zero problems with the site or app itself. Though I wish MeWe had collections or something similar to that, but I'm not complaining. One thing I'd like to see be done though is to be able to edit pages. I wanted to see how they worked so I made one, expecting to delete it after but you cannot delete nor edit the page.

So the interface itself is user friendly. it's great for making groups and a great place to be yourself. But you aren't able to save pictures, you have to screenshot them. And you are not able to see what anyone's posted whatsoever, other than a profile picture or cover photo. this makes it difficult to know who I wanna actually follow and the reason I should follow them.

Great app! I like it a lot more then facebook. No ads and it's just cleaner looking overall. Sure they make their money with extras that you can buy. But it's optional. (I caved and bought the "dark mode". I love it lol) I think the only thing I'd like is for it to be easier to find friends. But otherwise it's awesome! No more facebook for me!

I am just is the learning phase of using MeWe rather than Facebook. Appreciate the values MeWe represents. One frustration I have when scrolling through the feed is that I can be right in the middle of reading the front page of a post and all of a sudden it flips up to the first post on the page. Then I have to scroll down again through many pages to get back to where I was reading.....very irritating. Can this be fixed? Thanks for providing a great alternative.

This app is BS. It is NOT FREE. So far, everytime I try to access mewe, I get a blue screen telling me to PAY $4.99. As if that's not bad enough, I'm unable to back out of the page and instead I have to uninstall the app & reinstall again. That reinstallation doesn't last long before I get the blue page again looking for $4.99. I see NO "x" to delete the page. I thought this was supposed to be FREE. Not planning on keeping it. It's BAIT & SWITCH. 👎👎👎

great app!! takes a bit to get used to tho for sure. things i would change: process of uploading photos. the most recent photos are shown at the BOTTOM of the album's rather than the top. it would also be nice if profile photos would save. the starting avatars/photos are very odd. dark mode should be FREE!! when clicking on the profile tab, it should go straight to our profile as opposed to a menu + THEN an option to go to profile.

Everytime you update the app something gets worse, and it's usually the formatting. For a while it was fixed, and you could single space whenever you move to a second line, but now it automatically changes to double space again. It is probably the most irritating thing I've ever had to deal with on a social media platform and it's really unfortunate. I'd be a lot more pleased if you could fix it. Thanks.

The navigation is... Interesting. It takes a bit of getting used to. Mainly because you can kinda get to anywhere in the social aspect of the app from anywhere else, with very few barriers. Until you get your own personal workflow down, it can be a little confusing. The app is free, along with all core functionality. They are trying the IAP method to avoid placing ads, and I hope it works. So far, those are limited to a dark theme, emoji, and sticker packs (the ones that are prebuilt are fine).
