Description of Pingo by Findmykids

Pingo is a companion app to the Findmykids location tracker, our app for parents. It was developed for location tracking of children. Please only install this location tracker app on a device used by a child or teenager.
We recommend you start by downloading the Findmykids parent tracker app on your phone. After that, install the Pingo GPS location tracker on your child's device and enter the code from the Findmykids app you received when you signed up.
Done! Now you can use kids GPS tracker!

OUR KEY FEATURES:

Kids GPS tracker – see your child's location on the map and the history of the day's activity - an online location diary. Make sure that your child does not go to dangerous places with our locator. You can also get your child a kid smart watch and connect it to the Pingo app.
Sound around – listen to what's going on around your child with the help of our location tracker to make sure they're okay. This feature works only if the child tracker is installed and set up on their phone.
Loud signal – send a loud signal to your child's phone where the child tracker is installed if they have left it in their backpack or on silent mode and can't hear the call. If they lose kid smart watch, you can also find them with the help of our GPS watch tracking app.
Screen time manager – find out what apps they used at school, and whether they played in class instead of learning. Pingo kids GPS tracker can be used instead of any parental control apps.
Notifications – make sure your child is on time for school: get notifications when they get to school, back home, and other places you've created. Our parent tracker app will send you a notification.
Battery control – remind your child to charge the phone on time: you will be notified if the battery is about to run out. The feature also works with kid smart watch and GPS watch tracking app
Family chat – chat with your child in the chat room with fun stickers and send voice messages in the child tracker app

You can see your child's online location for free once the devices are connected. Other features in the free version (like parental control app for child phone) are available with restrictions. To use all the features of the app, you should buy a subscription.

If your child doesn't have a phone, you can buy a kid smart watch and connect them to our GPS watch tracking app.

I never get updates of my kids location. I het notifications several days later and it always says they are offline. When I do get updates, my kid has been in the location for 10 minutes or more before I get a notification. Seriously need to work on this. It is dangerous to rely on this app alone. It has failed.

This app along with the find my kid, app, is worthless, I paid the subscription and it seems to be worse that the free version, notifications keep on switching off, voice and sound command take forever to load or don't load at all, it takes for ever to load while on wifi, hardly ever works while on data, skip the subscription it's not worth it.

Don't get this app. I dont think the developers thought this app through, The stalking possibilities are endless and it drains batteries 6x faster. The "listen to my child's surroundings" doesn't work and im glad it doesn't because if it did, it could cause so much danger that I probably don't have enough room to type. It can see your apps and everything play. I understand the location but LISTENING TO WHAT YOUR CHILD IS SAYING? Thats just trying to mask spying into something legal

This app is pointless, it drains my kids' battery incredibly fast and you can't track a dead phone. In one single night from 100% to 15% while sleeping. During the day while they're using their phones, the battery is completely dead within a couple of hours. Absolutely no point!

The corresponding app is not accurate at all - it showed my father a route by air from our home in Tel Aviv to Gaza and back, even though I stayed in my room all this time.

Useless and annoying. Doesn't have settings for or even work properly on tablets without sim cards. Hope the developer realizes that there is technology called wifi internet connection and that there are other technologies called smart devices that are connected to the internet and need to be tracked and don’t use cellular network connections! Your app is very annoying and no way to set up on the tablet and get red of the "your device isn't setup properly " popup message

I checked the version for adults and found out they can see how long you've been on any app and I now feel like I have no privacy anymore😭

Horrible app!! When I first got it, it worked ok. Now, I've been having nothing but problems with this app. It's constantly telling me to set up my child's phone when it's already set up, no longer tracks my children's location. In fact, my children are in school now, and it's telling me they're at home. The sound works fine, but that's basically about it. I'm paying for the subscription, and can't even get in contact with a live person to help troubleshoot the issues I'm having. What a joke!
