Fun editing tool to use, especially the AGE feature 👴👵 one downfall is that it wont let you update several people's faces in one session. You have to save your photo, reopen the photo, select the next person, and repeat (if it even recognizes the next face). If they add this feature, being able to toggle from face to face to make edits in one photo, I'd give it 5 stars.

I love this app. It's so amazing and it works better than any other app I've tried. The gender transformation is awesome. You can add makeup, a beard, long or short hair, make your face fat or skinny. Would be great if they could add braided hair , ponytails, pulled up air in general. Maybe even some slicked back hair and punk hair styles. It's a great app.

6 months ago Id have given it 5 stars. but after recent updates (as other reviewers have mentioned) the impression filters make the picture blurry (even HD photos). i loved this app because i could use it and it looked natural. Now you can tell the photo has been edited. Such a bummer. Perhaps you could add the ability to adjust the strength of each impression filter.

I opened the app after installing it once more (I had it then deleted), and now it won't connect. I've tried multiple things, but nothing seems to work. I'm connected to wifi, but apparently the app does not think I'm connected to anything, or just doesn't want to work. Photos will not process and the celeb sesrch will not work either. The app is unusable. It's too bad what was a great app won't work for me.

When it works, it's pretty impressive. However, it locks up on my phone often after doing just one photo edit. You can quit, go back into it, and it will do the same thing. You can clear cache, clear all data... same thing. You can uninstall and re-install. Same thing. The only thing that seems to work is to uninstall and reboot, then re-install. (Update: you can just clear all data and reboot, but that's not much less trouble. Clearing data should completely reset everything). Then it will work for a photo or two if you're lucky and then it freezes up again. And you have to uninstall, reboot, and re-install. I suspect it is because I have a LOT of photos on my phone, and most of them aren't selfies. It very "helpfully" automatically searches for selfies when you start up, and so it's looking through maybe a thousand or more photos for selfies. It would probably help if you could limit which folders it could look in, and if you could turn off the automatic search for selfies. But you can't do either of these things. Ultimately, it's not going to be worth the pro subscription unless they fix this.

Nice array of filters. I used this to find a new hairstyle. I tried some different cuts and styles. The app gives the ability to upload celebrity pictures but doesn't really integrate them into the picture. May have been my lack of understanding how to operate. I would have liked to be able to combine hair elements after applying. I used saved pics then added more style elements so in the end it worked.

I've been using FaceApp for years now, and (other than its occasional lack of processing for every kind of face) it has not let me down in any big way. I actually wish the app could be used on PC as well, so transferring and saving the images would be much easier. Also, I hope to someday be able to use ALL the expert-like options on the video face feature.

My rating would be higher if the free features weren't all gone. I use this app sparingly, but when I need it, it's great to have. Annoying to have to watch a video to access pro features, but now even that isn't an option. Literally nothing can be done except one smile choice without having to opt into a pricey subscription. I'd rather watch the ads pay a fee for as little as I use the app. But I can't find a free alternative, so I'm SOL.

The AI tech is mind-blowing, for sure. But the number of effects available needs to be expanded dramatically, especially for this price. I bought the app to try on some new hairstyles. It has fewer than a dozen choices, some which don't render well, and you can't choose the color. There should be sliders to microcontrol hair length, fullness, curliness, and tint, with hundreds of style presets. I would think this would be easier, from a dev standpoint, than the old man or gender-swap features.

It went haywire on me... . It worked fine in the beginning, although I only used it on two photos. The results were great. However yhe options were very limited if you didn't get the pro version. After that it seems like the app was trying to take over my phone. It started jumping around my other apps, opening and closing apps, etc. I uninstalled it quickly.

I really enjoyed this app when it works. it has a lot of really cool features. a lot of times however it just stops loading photos. Also, I wish we could edit the pictures that are not necessary "selfies". there's a lot of things I would love to use on regular photos, like filters and Saturation/shadows adjustments. an option to "add a face" would really be awesome, I'd definitely pay the yearly fee if that was the case.

I'm a writer and use the face morphing feature to come with ideas for new characters, however it sucks when I get really into a project and then suddenly i get an error screen saying I've made too many to the server. It takes at least a day before the app is usable again and it really slows things down.

After a recent update the app is ruining picture quality. Once filters are applied the picture is becoming grainy and low quality. I'm not sure what they did, it was perfect up until a few days ago. If this isn't resolved there's no point in paying for it. It's making pictures worse, unfortunately.

Really like the app,but honestly I think there needs to be some way of being able to NOT lose my cleavage or if my hands are in my photo close to my face or neck in the vicinity of the feature I am wanting to use it makes my hands look distorted I think that most of the features should be stand-alone, where you control& concentrate on certain areas like removing wrinkles or adding glow to other parts of your photo besides the face. Also be nice to be able to zoom photos big or small &save them

App used to be great until they removed the face swap feature. I bought the lifetime subscription years ago, but apparently they can just completely change the app regardless of what you paid for. If you download this app DO NOT pay for any subscriptions since they can just remove your important tools whenever they feel like it. Super disappointed

This is getting weird, the subscription to this app is too much, before I do use some effect including face and hair and it still works but unfortunately, non stopped working. I think you should unlock all effect, and give a time when I will close back again. So a lot of people can love this app. Can you make atleast, each tab with two filters working, that will be ok. And a lot of people will love this app and will attract many people to download it. But it isn't working in mine

Face App is an absolute game changer in every way possible. When they say they can change features... THEY CHANGE FEATURES! If you want a different color hair or skin tone they can change that too ! Anything that you can think of to change is all possible with Face App. They are no joke ! Forget the rest and go with the best. Only downside is after the three day free trial well yeah you guessed it 🙁But until then it is still fun 😊

There was a time when this would have received 5 stars, but the slow release of new options and features keeps it around 4 stars. Generally, it's great at doing what it offers the user! Sadly, I've had to rate it 2 stars starting today. As a PRO user, I've been enjoying it for years without issue, but now I can't edit more than a handful of photos before a temporary ban is implemented. I edited four/five images today and was locked out. Worse yet, no transparency from the FaceApp team.
