2 years ago, I only gave this game 5 stars. I would've given more, but 5 was as high as I could go. Now, I'm so frustrated with how the game has de-volved into a ridiculous imitation of what it was. The pointlessly added hole explosions, ridiculous balls that you HAVE to purchase if you want any chance to win, and the constant glitches and game freezing makes me absolutely HATE playing what was once my favorite game. This game won't last much longer if they don't fix some of the gameplay issues.

This is the most frustrating and aggravating game I have ever played. Inconsistencies and fallacies are the only thing that is consistent in this game. It seems to me that as long as I am spending money on this app the game is more accurate. But when it has been a while since purchasing the featured packages, the games navigation becomes unmanageable and inaccurate.

Fun to start. But get a little better and suddenly you're playing elite players with more experience and better equipment that somehow aren't affected by the elements (like wind). Then, you realize it was wasted time. Wasted time waiting on a player that hit in the water, to reconnect but you know they aren't. Wasted time watching your opponents goofy graphics video because he tied you. Wow.

Most absolute inconsistent game ever. Especially when you get up to the million dollar and 3 million dollar matches. No matter how good you think you get, they (game developers) will continue to make sure something or another causes you to lose, n then lose again, and again. All so you can buy more coins, or balls, or both. I have spent way too much money and time on this game. Never again. However, I wouldn't mind seeing solo play, Campaign, or pass and play locally.

Updated review. The frustration factor gets worse. If you're flagged to lose you're going to lose no matter what. Latest development playing level 6, three games in a row my opponent made mistakes, one time hitting out of bounds. The game not only didn't register a lost stroke, it put my opponents ball 3 feet from the home which enabled them to get a draw and a shootout. No surprise considering what had happened to that point, I lost all of them. I know the company wants $$ but come on

The game is rigged to send you on losing or winning streaks. No matter how perfect you are it seems the outcome is determined before you tee off. Physics are also way off. Wind will effect your ball differently every time even if the wind is at the same speed and direction. No matter the club, distance, or ball. I wonder if this things would improve if I made an in-app purchase. But I will not spend to find out. UPDATE: Since I left a negative review, lost 21 of 25! Prior win% was 64%!!!

I keep leaving 1 star ratings and it automatically goes to 5... Reason for the 1 star rating??? I've lost count of how many times I release on "perfect" shot only to see it skip once and sometimes twice after into a worse shot. It continues to skip even after my finger is off of the screen... It loves to skip in the shoot out the most. Really fun game, great graphics but I continue to lose tons of coins because it skips at the worst time.

Great game. Time pressure is not at all a factor but it should be, so there is more work to be done there. Also, upgraded clubs become inconsistent with respect to the indicated trajectories; players shouldn't be punished for upgrading clubs. For example, my indicated trajectory was set perfectly and i hit the shot perfectly, but the upgraded club fired the ball through the back of the green, causing me to lose the match on a shoot out.

More often then not it feels like this game is random chance then skill. The 1v1 coin prize structure needs to be changed. You can't make enough to keep progressing let alone afford to upgrade clubs. The different angles on the greens are great, but you can't see them well from the over head view. Most of the holes would be super fun if you could see where to put the ball from the fairway.

It's never consistent in shots, wind blowing left to right I adjust my shot, hit a perfect shot and it gets blown the opposite direction of the wind. The ball direction shot speeds up and slows down with no warning. I always playing against competition with twice as many trophies as I have. Shot out shot when you're playing someone who has twice as many trophies you are at a disadvantage. 90 % of my losses are in the shootout. love the game but playing someone who spends money you can beat

This game is fun, challenging, and addicting. The lastest update added a lot of great stuff, but removed some things like being able to view your opponents ball spin and club ball guide once you start playing courses past 60k. I think those should be brought back as that was part of the game and also how some people get better; they learn from others. Pretty hard to do that when they can't see how their opponent lines up their shots.

The trophy and coin system is broken, until it's fixed there's really no point in wasting your time on this game. Currently, you can gain as many trophies as you'd like, however if you play high stakes games and lose all your coins you still remain at the same amount of trophies. You cannot lose trophies without first losing higher stake games, the only way to progress is to drop in trophies and work your way up again. But, you can't drop in trophies if you have no coins. Fix the system.

The game is fun and with a little patience you can develop the clubs, strategy, and skill to win more than you lose. Or at least that was the case until the latest update (Nov 2021). Now the game is super glitchy to the point of being unplayable. The shot needle literally freezes as it swings back and forth. I've been playing this game on my phone and on my iPad for years now. Sad to have to quit playing it but it just isn't worth the frustration anymore.

The game is fun yet frustrating at times. The micro transactions are way too expensive. The camera views are also frustrating. It's hard to tell how accurately you set your shots up due to the closeup views when the ball is flying. Would rather have an aerial view during air time. Also hard to set top/back spin since the view takes up half the screen and blocks the view of the course. Otherwise fairly addicting.

Gotta say, it's one of the better multiplayer golf games I've played in a long time. Doesn't totally cripple your play to force microtransaction spending. Decent variety of clubs and balls to collect. Accurate and enjoyable physics. Pleasant graphics and animations. Nothing I have found is locked behind a pay wall, though some things may take a significant time investment to unlock though play alone. I really enjoy it overall though. I have, and will continue to, recommend it to friends.

good game but lacks consistency. With the exception of the "wind" and "turf grade" one shot (on the bounce) may go WELL over where it should and the same shot with the same general conditions will be way under where it should. This has nothing to do with the accuracy of the shot, the wind, the angle, or anything else the player can adjust.

First, it's a fun game and has great animation and mechanics. Beyond that, it's far too aggressive on getting you to the point of having to spend actual money. You don't earn enough in-game money to keep up with the potential club upgrades. The upgrades themselves are far too expensive, which also leads you to getting all of the trophies too soon as well. Also, there's several moments where it feels like there's missing sound effects.

This is a fun game when it works. But constantly crashes, and then does not reconnect to game in progress, causing loss of coins. Also get a lot of unfair matchups, and guests that make perfect shots every time, these seem to be computer generated by the game. Would be nice to have a practice mode as well, and be able to choose clubs during the game.
