It's no secret, the microtransactions (well, not so micro) are insane. They bombard you with paid chests all the time, and the crest system is a joke. That's just the beginning. The game itself is fun, when it works. It crashes in the middle of rifts, and I can't even finish the main quest line. My character will freeze in an animation, unable to move, then just stand there until I die. With bugs and a pay to win systems, it's really not worth your time.

The game is not what I was expecting. I played for a short time but that was all I needed. Running around the world feels like im on rails going from quest to quest. No investment in the story. Animations can break at times. I'll run into a group of 2-3 enemies with nothing around and the bullet animations wont even appear for a few seconds. The unnecessary micro transactions kill it for me.

The games fun, basically diablo on your phone. I enjoy it to the most I can, but after the constant crashing it's starting to draw me away from the game. I'll close every app I have open. Restart the phone. Graphics on low everything on low. Still crashes, sometimes back to back to back. Once those are fixed I can actually enjoy the game longer then ten minutes.

Pretty, appreciated the return to some of the classes, ran well on a new phone, but it's missing the heart of other Diablo games and feels like nothing more than a huge cash grab. This isn't a game you can "win" even if you paid (as some have proven). It cheats with progression but hides it, and it doesn't have a satisfying linear build. Missions are highly repetitive. Didn't enjoy it for more than a week even if I was willing to support it's practices.

The game play and graphics are fantastic, however the level of incessant and predatory monetization is Unreal. It really feels like Blizz built this game from the ground up not to win people over but to fleece as many as possible as quickly as possible. What a slap in the face to the developers, artists, and classic voice actors involved in this to put clearly so much effort and polish into this only for it to be used to take advantage of people.

XP wall is intense. Great game and never had a problem loading, but around level 32 I got a quest that requires me to get to level 35. Got to level 33, and this is the part where the game gets INSANELY slow. Slow enough to the point where I can't find the motivation to login daily anymore because it's all a grind for little to no reward. On top of that, you're expected to pay for the basic necessities to keep progressing. Hard pass for me. May come back if they make the leveling less strenuous.

Love the game play and graphics are awesome as well as the storyline! I'd definitely give 5 stars. The battle net is a huge problem. I can no longer play the game now it just screen freeze and the game shuts down. Do not attempt to log in on the battle net. Not worth the trouble. Damn glad I did not spend money on this game. Add on/ if you unistall to try to fix the screen freeze problem. And try to reinstall. Not happening! I cannot reinstall!

I made it to level 31 before throwing in the towel. This game is boring. No challenge. No room for strategizing or decision making. No threat of ever dying. It's just navigating to a waypoint, mash buttons until everything is dead, then navigating to the next point. The game itself is well polished and plays nicely, so I'll give it that. I also didn't pay for a single thing, so no complaints on that front. But it's just so unsatisfying. Maybe the end game is different, but I've lost interest.

The game itself, at its very base, is a decent Diablo game. It's not terribly interesting, but it's not a bad game. It's everything else they've attached to it. All the predatory microtransactions really ruin it. You're constantly reminded to buy, and your progress slows as you try to keep it free. It's really disappointing. It is definitely superior on mobile, the PC version is nothing more than the mobile version on a PC monitor. It does not look good or operate well. Blizzard is dead.

good combat. nothing else. it's a shame, really. the combat and controls are so responsive for a mobile game, it's fun. but the shop. the p2w. it's the most disgusting p2w i have ever seen in a game. if they made all the gearing and everything totally free and accessible, and had optional micro transactions for cosmetics, etc? it would be a win. blizzard has been in hot water lately but they're showing that they won't ever change. hope is lost.

They just want to clear peoples wallets, and the game gets stale real quick as a result... Decent graphics and smooth gameplay for a mobile game, but an anemic version of older Diablo entries. The maps are not generated but fixed, and monster variety is poor. The equipment, inventory system, and lack of trading is really disappointing. I played all Diablos (2 extensively) where progress can be slow, but atleast you could actually make it with time spent; that is not the case here.

The two stars are for gameplay mechanics alone. Everything else is either annoying or a downright disgrace. Examples: You have to be in a party to find certain items, but why? And in the item shop, you can buy the "Boon of Plenty" for $9.99 for extra login rewards. But guess what? If you don't log in, you lose those rewards you paid money for. It's the most predatory shop you've probably ever seen in a mobile game, and it's inexcusable.

Fun game until you hit that pay-wall. Very nicely designed and well engineered. Controls are awesome. Gameplay and storyline are great! I fully expected to drop $20 on this when it released but, unfortunately, they made it free to play....so here we go with the millions of microtransactions you need once you hit max level to continue on for the full in game experience and upper difficulty levels. I would absolutely consider paying a full price option in order to get rid of this horrible system.

Thanks for screwing up my phone, Blizzard. World of Warcraft with a Diablo mod. Very, very glitchy. Takes up a great deal of space in external memory. I really wanted to get into it, but I spent more time waiting for the things to load and my phone being completely locked up than I really got a chance to explore. Started off with two stars but it refuses to let me uninstall, it crashed my phone 3 times trying. It then decided it is a system app, and now my phone keeps randomly crashing.

I LOVE Diablo! Memories from when I was a kid playing this game every single night after my homework until I beat it! And now I find out there's another one? I love every second of it especially the live time play with other players. However as of the last couple days every time I play even just running around Rackiss square, the game crashes. It's become unplayable and this makes me very sad! I've tried repairing and downloading West March. Neither work. Every crash resets both. please fix!

I've played Diablo on the play station and highly enjoyed it. I was ecstatic when I found out there was now a mobile version. However, it severely disappointed me. I couldn't even choose a character because the graphics seemed to crash and glitch. After I finally could customise my character and continue with the storyline, there was nothing but a blank screen and a voice over! Please fix this!

fun game, I didn't have a problem at first with the pay to play model since the rewards of the first dungeon was only costed .99, then the second one was 1.99 the third 4.99, the 4th 6.99, and the last that I did was 9.99 just to get some gems. I'd be okay if it was a flat fee, but I'm afraid I'll run into a 39.99 and up price charge since it doesn't seem to be consistent at all about pricing. the only thing consistent is the more you invest time, the more it asks you to invest money.

Edit: I managed to play the intro and it was really well made. Great graphics, intuitive enough controls. But now I can't get to the login screen, so I guess this review gets to stay. It's hard to do that to a Blizzard game. I really can't imagine how none of this would have been caught in testing. Login splash screen looks great. Opening cinematic was pretty cool. Unfortunately I couldn't log in after repeated cycling and attempts to connect, so I can't comment about anything further in.
