Super fun, but the newest game mechanics and items make it very confusing to learn, even for someone who has been playing for a while. It needs to be simplified a little bit more again. I've had a great time playing it, but sadly I'm forced to uninstall it because it takes up FAR too much memory in my phone. It's a gorgeous game, but this file size makes my phone useless. I wish they'd allow a way for those of us with limited storage to play, like maybe a "lite" version without battle animations

This has potential, but it gets extremely difficult after the first couple levels. I would not recommend this even for a pokemon fan. The combat is lacking with characters only able to learn two attacking moves. The character drop rate and gem rate are terrible too. It feels like they are forcing you to buy things just to keep up. So much potential lost; hope it gets better in the future.

After day 1 bug fixes, the game plays great. Few frames lost when you do sync moves and I have an S9+. Bit of a grindfest for items to level up Pokemon and teach them new moves, the difficulty spikes around chapter 7 or 8, and it doesn't help when the Auto Battle function only focuses on the highest cost moves, and sometimes just uses all items at once. But characters are timeless and having them with voices makes the experience bareable. If you can take the grind, you'll easily fit right in.

Not awful but not as good as it could be. An extreme lack of things to do, random difficulty spikes, and a dissapointing lack of evolutions (currently) available are just a handful of the issues. Aside from that the game doesn't do a whole lot to keep interests, even the storyline is sub-par to a point of being unable to make you want to keep playing. At the end of the day it just feels like a generic card based game wearing a pokemon skin.

As someone who has been a Pokemon fan since the 90s and has played other Nintendo gatcha games, like Fire Emblem Heroes and Dragalia Lost, this game has a long way to go before it'll get a 5-star in my book. It leans towards the expensive side to Scout for new units and it's missing useful features that the other games possess that increases the quality of life. Such as the following: * The game needs a "Repeat" button for certain modes that sends the team right back into battle, especially in the Training mode, since it's very grindy. * There needs to be backwards trading in the Exchanges menu (i.e. trading in 1 high level item for 10 lower level items). * It's UI loading needs to be a little quicker (or a lot quick when a battle is lost). I find myself tapping the screen several times before the interface responds. The game definitely has potential; it just needs much more work done to it, especially in terms of quality of life improvements. The music is incredible though.

I really love this game. Its fun and challenging (compared to the other pkmn games.) I would give it a five star rating but I don't get to play it that much so I don't get that much time to do the special events that go on. Also it would be mega helpful if they had some sort of exp. Share or something like they do in other games so I don't have to constantly use level up manuals or use my time leveling up level one synce pairs to level eighty-two. Amazing game with gorgeous graphics!

The game is fun, don't get me wrong. I would really love to play it, but it crashes constantly. I was trying to do the gala event, and everything the beginning cutscene ends, the game crashes. Google play even has a warning that this app crashes often, that's crazy. If this is ever somehow fixed, I would love to know so I can play again.

It has fantastic polish... But... The core of the game is... Lackluster? It's not all that deep and judging from its base design it is going to have severe limitations when increasing this depth later on. The battles are extremely slow to the point where I am just waiting for the gauge to fill to do ONE attack on one of my trainers. For a real time game, it doesn't provide enough resources to play it in real time. The opponent and I just... Stare at each other until theres enough energy... ^^;

This is a fun game especially if you're fond of the different trainers from all the games. If you came for battles, there are battles; and the story is somewhat interesting but if you want to do something else you're mostly stuck with grinding stages for items. The graphics are very nice and the app runs smoothly on my phone, and it doesn't drain too much battery. Overall I wish there was more character depth like more side adventures you can complete with each trainer aside from their one stage

Great Game , Great Concept. BUT almost every other time when I use my Sync Move, the animation freezes and skips and its usually happen when I'm about to clear the mission. Its super annoying to have to shut the app down and start it up again. Also, I feel as though their should be access to a home button in the explore section, where the missions are that way we aren't pressing back like 300 times to get back to the center. The faster this is fixed the better. please and thank you!

I have been playing since day one and have been a big supporter for the game. However, I need to finally put my foot down on an issue. The introduction of the stamina system has been met with much criticism and for good reason. It is staggeringly limiting on what you're able to do in a day. I use to play for a few hours a day, now I do the minimal grind and find myself moving on to something else. Dena originally promised to take feedback on this serious and adjust the system as needed. It's become apparent they're happy with it as it is and making the most minor changes to say "we're accepting feedback and making changes" when it's not enough. I love the art, the voices, the story, and so much passion shows in this game even compared to the main series Sword and Shield games. However, as things stand, even with all that I can't recommend joining this game until things are changed.

I honestly love this game, but it's so hard to connect to it! I can have perfect 4g signal or be right beside my Wi-Fi box, but it keeps restarting and telling me the network is unstable. If your connection is even the tiniest bit unstable it throws the whole game through a loop and it makes you go back to the title screen. I don't know if it's just my phone or what but I'm disappointed that it takes so long to load and a lot of the time I can't even play it.

Constantly Restarting, its telling me my phone clock is off. After the error message the game restarts. This occurs after every battle and event, or every 2 minutes. Sometimes both! It'll do this for a solid 10 minutes. Then I'll get a five minute break and it begins to restart again. I like the game, but this is SUPER ANNOYING.

The game is good all that is missing is free roaming and the characters could talk a tad bit more but overall a great new concept. The graphics are great and the animations for attacks show Nintendo is really stepping into the app world and it's going smoothly. I do miss catching Pokemon so I'm hoping to see that concept return later in the gameplay.

Very fun and nice story, but the battles are a bit too slow. The recharge takes too long, so battles get stuck for a few moments as both sides wait for recharge. Along with the co op story and event battles get really unreasonable difficult. I've been stuck for days, unable to progress in them. And Evolution crystals are way too expensive.

It's a fun game, but there's tons of stuff that needs fixing. There's also a lot of "quality of life" functions that are normally included in games like this that this one does not have, like when you lose and it forces you to the homescreen and doesnt allow for a retry right after. Game could be another huge hit if they would just make some tweaks

Disappointing, UI is set up like Yu-gi-oh Duel Links, but without any charm to it. Has a battle system that is pretty obnoxious to use. The depth of this game, for it being so *competitive* is incredibly basic, even for a Pokémon game. It looks pretty great, though and the animations are pretty fluid. I also really appreciate the emphasis on character diversity in personalities, much like the game and shows. Wish they'd put half the effort in the gameplay/design as the did with the looks.

Has a lot of promise, but it looks like end game content (including items) and events gated behind co-op. I understand it's an important element for the game and I don't mind that, but I hate that your forced to do it for certain items and events. Even solo options with lower drop rates would be great. You can play co-op with bots, but the AI is horrible most of the time. Also, the rewards you get are just comical, you get items that you can easily get hundreds of on your own with no effort.
