Great Ideas; Just Executed Poorly. The game itself is actually quite decent however, I think that the systems in the game are designed to extract as much resources from the player as possible. Example: say you need to gather gear for a character. ( this will be common ) well, of course you can auto complete missions with "tickets" and energy. However, you get into a state where you are constantly running out of energy and cannot play the game. keep in mind stamina takes 5 mins to refresh! GG EA

Game is buggy and likes to crash. Due to how the server syncs with the game, if the crash occurs during the middle of a match, you're just SOL and have to take the loss (which, thanks to the introduction of Grand Arena Championships) and the lost resources because of it. Customer service is not helpful at all. what can you expect from an EA game I suppose.

Love the game but it doesn't work after updating so I can't get in to collect energy or do daily tasks. This is a repeated problem and is irritating. It usually takes them about a day to fix it which is a day of progress lost. The problem persists after multiple troubleshooting methods which include: clearing the cache and data, restarting the phone, uninstalling and reinstalling. They also added a bajillion popups. -_- The game itself looks beautiful and is a lot of fun to play, though.

Only download if you prefer games that freeze and crash at the most crucial moments. There are frequent and repeated server issues and stability problems. Fun game, but not so fun when it crashes or takes forever to load, if it does as all. It currently has refused to load all day long as I type this. Get ready to see the following message constantly: "Heroes has stopped".

It was fun, then came Disney, EA, and the cash grab. It's pay to play, don't be fooled. Want to compete in anything? Better buy what you need as the game is totally biased toward paying players. Each time something new is introduced, so is the ability to buy it right away or you can play for a decade and still come up short. If you don't mind losing to whales and the AI, play away, but you'll lose a lot unless you buy in to the Disney regime.

This iconic based game appeals to the soul of the Star Wars fan in that it allows you to improve your favorite characters from the Old Republic to the latest trilogy and series. However, it is a game that requires a lot of patience as the model is meant to get you to invest a lot of time into the game to see end game content; it's insane. Or requires you to use very large sums of money to keep up with the meta...ugh EA. Money and time is what this game sucks out of your life for little reward.

Have enjoyed playing this game for a couple of years. Stability issues in the last two months have completely destroyed it for this life-long Star Wars fan. Support was totally useless, and last suggested step was to uninstall and reinstall the game, which failed to work as the game now won't install, and doesn't provide any error message indicating why. Congratulations, EA, yet another Star Wars game you've managed to screw up.

Used to play this game every day for about two years. But last week, I was logged out of my account with a message that said "session expired". Now whenever I try to log in on that account, I get a message saying to check my connection and that it keeps failing to log in. I've tried redownloading, logging in on data. Everything. Two years of progress just wasted

Improving: The game had a rough road in 2019-2020, as they got a little too greed and predatory off of past successes. 2021 has seen an effort to improve content and quality, and attract new players. It's not perfect yet, but overall it seems to be going in a better direction than before. Character redesigns of iconic characters like Darth Vader keeps the game fresh, and new content makes it easier for new players to catch up while rewarding long term players.

Fun game. Probably one of the best in the mobile games category. Addictive with its fun strategy gameplay and collecting of different toons. The grind is difficult but rewarding. But can be incredibly frustrating at times with the developers strategies to take advantage of people's uncontrollable impulses designed like a casino. So where I might've spent a little something at one point or another, I refuse out of principle in supporting their scheme.

Only "fun" the first 20 levels. You CANNOT get ahead without making purchases, and a lot of them. It's the priciest game I've encountered. Just to up character levels you spend AT LEAST $100 on each. Once you reach level 85, it's pretty much a dud. Save your time and money on a less expensive venture. Plus, guild leaders can get kicked out for whatever reason, that issue is being looked at, but my guild leader and myself lost ALL progress once we were able to get back in. Very good customer service reps. Very respectful.

This ap is garbage. I have experienced chronic freezes/crashes. It gets worse with every update. Capital Games does not care. They should rename this app "star wars: freeze/crash/waste of time and money." Contacting support is a complete waste of time. All they say is "go test it on a different system." What that means is that they neither know or care why an Android phone that meets system requirements is experiencing daisy chained crashes and freezes. I paid $0 and that is what SWGOH is worth.

Overall I like this game and have enjoyed it for the most part. My biggest issue is the ships. They are almost unplayable unless you pay. The progression is incredibly slow and extremely unbalanced, while the resources that are earned from it are insufficient. They stick you behind walls which require you to almost completely change your team while starving you of resources, with little way to gain in power to overcome the wall. If they were to fix the ships I would give the game a 4 star.

I'm pretty new and found myself falling in love with this game. But...I've been noticing a trend that isn't new to me. I've played and abandoned other pay to play games, some pay to win games, but this game really tries to squeeze your wallet dry. Gear packs get ludicrously expensive without any real benefit. Farming can take months just to unlock one character you want. Gear? Forget it! Once you get to higher/max levels, the game forces you to spend hundreds of dollars for very little in return

Graphics aren't great compared to smaller budget games, crashes every now and then, and repetitive gameplay. This wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't so tremendously pay to win. Spill $100 and you can instantly be one of the games top players, or go the old fashioned route and face energy caps, op squads, and slow progress after the beginning. It would be near impossible for a kid (this games target demographic) to have fun for more than 25 minutes without paying money.

This game can be fun, but it is severally off balance. There are times when the computer combos are impossible to beat and it really shows that it is a pay to play game. It's fun and I enjoy it from time to time but rating it I feel like the game is fun for a collection/unlock reason. The skills/rpg element is lost when a computer using the same combo as you procs 3 times more.

Very difficult to progress especially for newer players. Requires a major financial investment to progress even at a slow rate. No new content has been added in the time I have been playing. They just reskin stuff, and push it back out. I enjoy unlocking new characters and different teams but the truth is you just can't afford to level them quick enough to where they are even fun to use.

Seemed like it would be an alright game. That is until it stopped working. I had the game installed for a few hours and it froze up on me 3 times forcing me to close the game and reopen it losing the progress I made with the battles I just won. Last time it froze up it won't even reload now. It's stuck on the opening screen. There's too many other games out there like this to have to constantly deal with these issues. I'm just glad I found this out before spending money. Time to uninstall
