Description of Beach Buggy Racing 2

Join the Beach Buggy Racing League and compete against drivers and cars from around the world. Race through Egyptian pyramids, dragon-infested castles, pirate ship wrecks, and experimental alien bio-labs. Collect and upgrade an arsenal of fun and wacky Powerups. I was a great fan of the original game and kept waiting for the update version. Unfortunately, I don't feel this version leaves to the expectations built in the original game . There are not tournaments and it seems just a racing games without much thrills like in the original version when you really needed to master your skills. Graphics are great, though.

The game plays worse than the first one. When you win a race you have to wait several hours to collect your prizes. You only have 2 tracks to choose from at any given time. You only get 1 chance to beat a driver to add to your team and then you have to wait for them to challenge you. In order to level up you have to buy the powerups the computer allows instead of the car features you want. This game is more about waiting than racing. The first 1 is better in every way except graphics.

Played this for a day or so then played the first one. The first is way better. Controls in the 2nd are erratic. Winning cars or drivers is super difficult and you only get 2 tries per level. There's no goal aside from playing random levels and leveling up. I love the new ability to upgrade powerups and customize what ones are in your deck, but other then that the first is better in every way. Try the first one if you skipped it.

I like this game. I really do, even though I have it 1 star. The problem is braking. If you even touch the lower portion of the screen in the slightest - BAM! Brakes applied! You don't realize it until you've slowed down or stopped. When so many more phones are edge-to-edge displays this is a problem that needs correcting. There should be a smaller area used for braking, or a buffer around the screen edge where light touches do nothing.

Top notch. it's been my go-to game for the past couple of months. Though there are things that could make it better. A time trial for each track would be ideal. I love the competitive nature of the tournaments so it'd be great to have the same for lap times on each track for each level. Overall stats would be great as well. Happy to update my rating to excellent if these are implemented.

Cute racing game! Loved the first one and finished pretty much the whole game. I really like the updates and how they didnt stray too far from the first one. The online part is cool, kinda wish there were more single player races/secret things to find on the tracks. Its a good game to pick up and put down, not a game to play in long sittings unless you like playing the same tracks and essentially spending your money on in app perchases.

After seeing what this newest update did to the game, I am rather disappointed. Powerups, like boosts and shields, now take up a powerup slot until they have expired. I've also heard a lot of the original maps have been removed. Please undo these changes. BBR2 is an amazing game, but these changes have been for the worse. I like the idea of customizing wheels, but that's about it. Return the powerups to how they used to be and bring back the removed maps. We'll be ever thankful.

Huge fan but hugely disappointed. I'm on level 13, I can tell you regardless of your cars, levels of powerups, there's no way to beat the computers as everything(the speed, timing, even the projected tracks) are pre-calculated. So if you plan to buy anything with real money, don't do it! Their customer support is dormant! Enough being said the graphics are pretty good, just all ruined by the greedy developers, who made it mandatory to play online, which has loads of problems with the syncing.

I've been playing this game for over a year. Love it, but now certain powerups (shield, nitro boost, bull, etc) are timed so you can see how long they will last. Great idea, but now you can't pick up any more powerups until they time out. Bad idea! Makes it much more difficult to be competitive with players who are at higher levels.Change it back to the way it was and I'll keep playing. Don't, and I dump the game.

The original game was way better. You could upgrade to become faster than the bots, you could upgrade without spending a lot of cash. At first there seemed to be no objective in this new version. It was also next to impossible to win a race as every car was much faster than mine. I purchased gems, upgraded my car, but all of the bots just got faster, so again almost impossible to win. Too many attacks even when you are not winning. Can't select maps, only 2 options at a time. Sucks!

This is just another game of potential that is fixed. The original format was better. Upgrading vehicles by choice, re-racing tracks to familiarize yourself with them. Things are no longer equal and now I find that skill DOESN'T matter. I was racing the alien and just before the first lap was over, I blasted him; beating him to the finish line. As I was crossing the line, headed into my second lap, I was amazed to see the alien materialize at the end of the street. CHEATER!!!

Game is fun but missing a lot of features. Need career/tournament modes, and ability to upgrade vehicles like last version. I do like the new ability to upgrade power ups tho. Also need controller compatability and multilayer like last game. I would also like to see an online multilayer mode too. Would be fun to play other people real time. really fun game, nice improvement over the original. loses two stars for no cloud saves or google play games integration. any game in 2018 should have that functionality. UPDATE: The more I use this app the more a 3 star rating is justified. There is no substance to the game. Its the same thing over and over. The first game had different types of races. This one has the same thing. Having to grind for cars and tracks is ok, but there is no sense of progression. A random driver will pop up and you race against them, but you have to win three time to win the driver. I understand there needs to be some degree of difficulty, but this game is lacking soul. I hope that the version for android tv is better. If there is no local multiplayer or the ability to carry over my progress thats on my phone, i will not buy it.

I've given it plenty of time now, but this game is nothing like the first one. Every race is just a cluster of power ups where you don't win, you just hope to be first when the explosions stop. There is no strategy, extremely slow progression, no real choice of tracks, but a whole heap of things you can buy digitally to help you progress. BBR 1 is my favorite game of all time, which makes this a huge disappointment. Stick with the first game; the developers seem to have lost their way here.

Competition is better after the update. I now have to question is there any type of car upgrade feature. The car slides for such a long period within turns. That's causes players to get far behind without a chance to catch up and lose without competition. I only see that other cars can be unlocked but nowhere do i see anything about upgrading.

I do like this game a lot, the graphics, controls, how you don't have to spend money at all. They just need to fix the bug that kicks you out of the app. It doesnt happen when i play it on my tablet, but on my phone it will kick me out on the middle of the race. Outside of that this game could be made into a playstation or wii game just like mario kart. Im glad there is a second one because i loved the first beach buggy racing.

They kinda ruined it. I loved beach buggy racing. Spent money on it and played it through. They changed to format to random prizes that has become very popular. Also the loss of the game structure isnt fun. I felt there was very defined objectives in the first game, that is missing here. Also obtaining car upgrades is way more fun than powerup upgrades, it's a racing game! I'm deleting it. I might play the original over again, its significantly better for the user.

Already bored on level 4. First one was awesome, could try to beat my best times, had a lot of replay value. This one simply is boring forcing you into race after race after race to accomplish what? Just isnt fun. Good graphics, fine music, fine controls. Isn't enjoyable to play after a very short while.
