I feel as though this game has to many difficulty jump. For instance, one day you could be going through levels like they were nothing. Then, you'll get to one level that either has to many objectives for the amount of moves you get, or the placement of the objectives makes them so hard to do that you now going to have to hope for RNG to save you from the level. One thing I like is the art style. It captures the cartoonish way of everything with the rockets and the disco balls. I don't recommend.

It's fun but two complaints: 1 - this game is very expensive. Takes 100 coins to buy 5 extra moves to continue a game. If you don't make it in the first 5 extra moves, the next 5 moves costs 200, and so on. It's impossible to keep a bank. 2 - the game likes to "freeze up". For example, I had to reboot my phone just to get it working last night. Now this morning, it's frozen again. What is the programming problem?

EDIT:: I loved this game at first. I played it constantly. But now I have to update it almost once a week, which is ridiculous. Also, the glitches are driving me crazy. It crashes, the group page is blank half the time and it's become monotonous on the levels. I am not sure if I will continue to keep it on my phone much longer. Enjoy the game but it sucks that I cannot search for certain people. I had to dl the game again and lost all progress and access to my old team!

This game is very addictive and has great puzzles. However, ive noticed that the game "cheats". At certain levels when you run out of moves, you are sometimes given the option to watch an ad for 3 additional moves, which in many cases can assist with a win. On rounds where you are guaranteed a win with those additional moves, the ads conveniently "aren't working" and you're forced to use another life. Very annoying which is why i am uninstalling the game

It was fun the first 200+ levels but after that, it gets frustrating. I never know which way the rockets will go so if I need one to help me get rid of some carrots or pink squares, ducks, clams, or watermelons, well, they are random rockets so I just have to hope I get lucky. At one point, I started paying for more coins. Uh-uh, once I realized I was getting to the point of no return, I stopped playing. The game is tricky and even shady at some levels. It became too frustrating so I uninstalled.

Fun, happy, simple, and doesn't get so hard you just quit. Still some challenge but nice play overall. Lots of boosters and prizes without having to spend money. No adds! Love it! Only thing is I wish we could go back and replay levels to get all the stars, but i guess because the ongoing tournaments i don't know...you can testart a level if you loose though. So that's good.

This used to be fun and addictive; I'd play 10 or 20 levels a day. Then some one decided to make the levels so hard you need to use everything you earned and then still not win. I keep logging on to play, but some days I don't even beat one level. The rockets now magically never face the way you need them to. It runs very well, no annoying ads every other level and being on a team helps. But it's just much less fun now

This game used to be fun. Every time it updates, levels get harder to pass. If you have free lives or coins saved up, you will be stuck on that level until all resources are used. There will be "no more matches" pretty much from the get go. Magically, once your resources are gone, matches pop up and you pass the level without a problem with 10 moves left. I'm sure they do this to get you to buy coins, but it's a bad marketing ploy. It made me delete the game.

edit: rating changed to 2. the game becomes unwinnable after a few hundred levels and is no longer fun. even with boosters. Thoroughly enjoyable game that doesn't force you into buying things. I wish I could just pay for it outright instead of the in app purchases at all. But other than that, challenging enough to be enjoyable and rewarding without making me annoyed.

Updated 7/23/19: I really love playing, but as of this week, I haven't been able to play because it freezes as soon as I open the app. I am not having a problem in my iPad. Noticed I am not the only one having problems. I have removed the app and downloaded it again hoping it would fix the problem, but it hasn't. I have a Galaxy 7s. I love the graphics and the challenge. I also LOVE that there are no annoying ads.

This game is alot of fun. Some levels are very challenging, while some are pretty easy. My only complaint is that when you lose a life and it asks you if you want to continue if you say quit and exit out it keeps that option open so you need to click the X again. I frequently forget that it keeps that option open for a 2nd time, which ends up me carelessly clicking to continue. I have lost 100 coins this way multiple times.

Like many of it's predecessors dating back to tetris, Toon Blast is a great time sink and can be stimulating as a randomized puzzle. Ultimately, though it's based more on dumb luck of getting the right colors to drop than skill in matching to pass levels. Another major drawback for me is there is no way to replay previously beaten levels, so make sure you get that highest score for your stars, or you'll never be able to earn them again.

Game freezes often; need to clear cache consistently. Whenever I come back to the game after a while, it is frozen and not responding. To get around this, I have to clear the app's cache and it works again. The game is fun otherwise, and I can play for a while without feeling like I'm constantly waiting for a screen or ad to load. I will give a higher rating if this issue can be fixed.

If you want a fun time passer, this is NOT the game for you. If you enjoy a few simple levels followed by infuriatingly difficult levels, then download this game! It has cute cartoon characters, but only still pictures of them, no animations. It does have some fun levels. I've played some 300 levels, and overall liked it. But now the levels are not just difficult, they seem designed to punish you for playing. Unless you have plenty of items to use in the level. The game will give you some good ones to use, but often you still will not complete the level.

The fact that the game set up for each level is completely random makes for an interesting set up. You can play the same level over and over trying to beat it and blocks will never be the same. Makes some levels seem impossible to beat as you waste a lot of lives trying to get through. Game is fun though and makes you think a couple moves ahead like chess. So it is fun.

No full stars because this game goes from casual to challenging within a few levels. you cannot repay levels. pay to win and reliance on 'lives' is heavily present. the most disappointing thing to me is that there's isn't any free to play mode where you can play until you have no more moves or something. potential to be great but lacking in many areas overall.

Deal breaker. Played it for a bit and found it quite enjoyable until... I ended up finishing a level with only two stars and couldn't replay it for three. I also didn't seem to be able to look over previously played levels. If you're okay with those issues, I'd recommend at least giving it a try, but if, like me, you have that perfectionistic need for all three stars and playing until you have the best score, these issues could well prove a deal breaker.

I hate the "Pay to Win" design, after a certain point if you don't have the gold to extend the game or the perks to help you out, it can take 10 or 20 tries to finish a level. The "Buy/Spend More Gold" screen is the primary choice on the "You Lose" screen... The whole game is designed to get you to spend money, even with the competions, the perks you win don't last long enough to finish the next competion, I recommend you don't get hooked, you'll be a couple hundred dollars down before you know it... I don't begrudge the makers some income, but find a better way, cause I've lost interest...
