In a world of white, and surrounded by “memory”, two girls awaken under glass-filled skies.

Arcaea is a mobile rhythm game for both experienced and new rhythm game players alike, blending novel gameplay, immersive sound, and a powerful story of wonder and heartache. Experience gameplay that reflects the story’s emotions and events—and progress to unlock more of this unfurling narrative.
Challenging trials can be discovered through play, higher difficulties can be unlocked, and a real-time online mode is available to face off against other players.

Arcaea does not require an internet connection for play, and is fully playable both on smartphones and tablets. On install the game includes a large library of free playable songs, and more can be made available by acquiring additional songs and content packs.

==Story==
Two girls find themselves in a colorless world full of memory, and with no memory of themselves. Each alone, they set out into places often beautiful, and just as often dangerous.

Arcaea’s story is interwoven throughout Main, Side, and Short stories which each focus on individual, playable characters. While separate, they all share the same space: the world of Arcaea. Their reactions to it, and its reactions to them, form an ever-shifting narrative of mystery, sorrow, and bliss. As they explore this heavenly place, follow their steps down paths of glass and grief.

Just starting out playing it, the concept is fun but the RPG/world unlock elements aren't presented well. I played a couple freeplay songs to get the feel down, then started the world mode. That introduced a stamina system (which was barely explained, though it's not different from countless other mobile games), a progress system (which wasn't explained at all), and when I hit play it took me... back to the freeplay menu? Except this time it cost stamina to play and rewarded progress points.

I love this game. It's one of the only free to play rhythm game that I've played where buying something is more of an option than a requirement. Yes you can buy song packs, but the game has more than enough free content to keep you preoccupied. Even though sometimes the 3-D pipe system is kind of weird and janky, it isn't really a problem most of the time. If you enjoy rhythm games, you'll enjoy Arcaea.

Easily the best mobile game I've ever played. For those of you who look for the same things as me in an app, the content is very well polished, and much of it is free. I've easily put hundreds of hours into the free parts of this game. The gameplay is that of a rhythm game, involving tapping and sliding your fingers across the screen. The music is (for the most part) quite good. I've actually found some songs that I've put on Spotify playlists through this game. I can't recommend it enough.

Its a great game, but i have a little complain, its hard to be precise on mobile screens. Theyre small and mine is ultra widescreen meaning even less accuracy. It would be perfect if example a sky note is there and note below, its hard to tap both due to the fact the precision of tapping has to be done quickly, it you dont tap the right angle basically almost to the end of the screen it will basically insta lose the note. Not a bad thing, just something to know if youre using a modern phone.

Originally gave it 5 stars because it's honestly a really amazing game, but somewhere within the past few weeks my offset has gone completely screwy. Where I played with a +6 for over a year with wired headphones is now +130, sometimes even higher. As a player who relies a lot on the audio cues from the hit sounds, it makes it very hard to play. Not sure what changed, but it's disappointing even if I still try to enjoy the game.

I absolutely love this game! I have played rhythm games all my life, and this one definitely is among my top 3. It is much more challenging than a typical rhythm game, which I very much appreciate! Great music. Best part: You want to keep playing and unlock more rewards. And after you unlock those rewards, more become available though constant updates. Unlike Cytus, Voez, etc. the "missions" are pretty much endless! The new story mode is well worth reading. 4* until I find my correct offset. ;)

The sky notes are an interesting mechanic, but are very overused. Segments with them are either too easy, requiring very little of you, or unfair, requiring you to obscure the base notes behind them. It's also changing to gauge their depth when they change height; while there is a lot of lenience, it's still distracting.

The first rhythm game I've ever played for more than 15 minutes, and it's so fun!! the songs are great, the art is beautiful, menus are easy to navigate, and it's not nearly as difficult to play as Voez or even Piano Tiles. I would love to see more metal songs like Purgatorium, but besides that, the songs are fun to play, and the game is difficult enough to where practice is needed, at least for me. I love Arcaea so much!!!

I had an S8 Edge, which made this game unplayable. I downgraded to an S4, and boy was the wait worth it. The double-track system is different, yet they managed to pull it off in a way that keeps the gameplay smooth and satisfying. Plus, the songs are very fun to play.

You start with very little, but earn fragments the more you play, allowing for a decent selection of free content. I quickly learned the practice at lower levels is necessary to avoid frustration. I play a lot of rhythm games and could barely touch a 5 at first, but by the time I grinded enough fragments for the more difficult 7s and 8s, 5s were a no-brainer and I could actually handle the huge difficulty leap between 7s and 8s. Best rhythm game Android has to offer!

If you like music games, you're gonna love this game. It closely resembles SDVX but it has its own twist to it. The music it has its great and fun to play along to. There leveling system is perfect to help you get the hang out of the controls while keeping you challenged throughout it. There was definitely a ton of effort put into this game.

This game is difficult but very fun, and I really like the 3D aspect. It's easy to get the hang of and doesn't take God tier players to get very good. I understand that people hate how the songs need money but they need to understand that much efforts was put into those song and levels. Even without the other songs you still have a larger selection of other free songs.

Amazing rhythm game dripping with a cohesive theme. Unique mechanics and a beautiful visual design. I removed one star because the paid DLC has some of their songs locked behind the time gated World mode with its Stamina system. I don't mind having to grind for the unlock but I don't appreciate it being time-gated. I think the time-gate makes sense for the free content... Also, I recommend they add the random song button somewhere besides the very bottom of the list. Imagine being on ALL SONG..

Arcaea is a hard rhythm game with beautiful art and a great collection of songs. The major problem I had with it is that when I transferred devices the songs I had unlocked before weren't unlocked anymore. In order to unlock songs you have to play and collect fragments and sometimes even unlock other songs before it. Think a kind of pre-requisite to buying certain songs. Also you have to buy and complete the songs before it for each difficulty of the song you're trying to unlock.

its okay and somewhat gimmicky, I did enjoy the concept behind the whole 3d/2d arc but the notes need to be more clear and easier to see. Certain arc notes overlap with bottom notes making it really annoying to look at. Sure you could just get better by playing more but it feels more intrusive than it needed to be and could be done better in my opinion. Songs are okay but I didnt put enough time to unlock many songs so I cant really say much about it.

I LOVE this game. The songs are AMAZING and super fun to play even on some of the lower difficulties. The story is also one of the best I've seen from a rhythm game and I highly recommend reading it for yourself. Just how the game intertwines the songs, story and artwork all together to make an INCREDIBLE experience makes this my favorite rhythm game.

Ok dont get me wrong, I LOVE this game so much, but why is it that when I uninstall the game, I have to rebuy all of the levels I had (using fragments) even though I already had them. I understand your current fragments being reset, but not your levels. Plz Change. (Correction, you are able to hit the sync button when completing a level and are able to download your songs back. Ehy not give this option from the start?) Great game otherwise, totally recommend.

By far the best rhythm game experience I've had on a mobile device. Everything in this came feels clean from its gorgeous UI/visuals to the amazing gameplay. The arcs and sky notes are a genius take on the classic 4 key/lane VSRG as they utilize the touchscreen to its fullest potential. They might seem daunting at first but anyone can execute them with enough practice. The story modes are also good if you're willing to pay for it but they aren't necessary to enjoy the game. Overall 10/10
