Before the recent update, I really enjoyed the game, yes it was hard to get past certain levels but you could go to the studio to practice for the harder missions and chapters. In the new update, you aren't able to play for fun and practice getting better because the bar lowers (HP I think?) And won't let you continue the song unless you use diamonds. Being able to keep playing in the studio even if you miss is what allowed me personally to get better at the game.

I love this game. However the new update has me thrown for a loop. I definitely loved it how it was before, the keys when playing songs didnt go slow and then hurry and rush like now. I wouldve definitely preferred the last version over this one. The only thing that I didn't like in the last version was the cheering section since I couldn't get the hang of it, also I really the Mix Challenges. One thing I will say good about the new version is that I love how the groups finally merged.

I pre-registered this game and I've been playing it for years. This recent update in my opinion is literally so bad. The layout is really confusing and I used to be so good at the game, now I can barely get an Excellent. I don't like how everything is combined and I like it when all of the groups were separate and when the live stage was a thing. I'm honestly considering uninstalling it because I just don't like the change

The game is a lot of fun, however it crashes fairly frequently, every five or so songs, and always after I've already spent music points/during the loading screen before a game starts, which is really frustrating. I hope that can be fixed, I'm not sure if anyone else has this issue.

I'm honestly being generous with this. this was my FAVORITE rhythm game period but this new update and the way they changed my favorite part which is the easily accessible controls for the speed and difficulty of the beats. I honestly really wanted to love this but so far the only thing I like is that you don't have to go out of one group to play another groups songs. but everything else has been severely underwhelming and honestly infuriating. from a consumer who's been playing since 2021

I loved the old version. The tiles are harder to press and don't look fun anymore. It looks boring now when I go play the chapters. I liked the old gameplay. I don't mind the artists being put together, but the organization of all the groups together could use some work, specifically in studio mode. The idea of selling cards in order to obtain cubes to upgrade to the next level of the cards I want upgraded is a bust for me. Why not just use the coins like when you up exp on the cards?

Hate the new update. Gameplay is just like other apps and not unique. It's also much more complicated with lots of buttons, multiple ways to upgrade cards, and small font. I liked collecting all the theme cards for specific groups (only reason I'm here) and being forced to play other groups for chapters and quests upsets me. The gameplay encourages you to get rid of weaker cards even if they may have a special theme. Also, the cheer mode was my favorite way to learn fanchants and now it's gone.

This game was so great and this new update has completely messed up the game play. The old style for the piano was perfect and by far the best part of the game and now thats its completely changed I don't even wanna interact with that part of the app at all! The round beats were perfect, even though some songs were hard that feature made it bearable. This new play style is so hard to use! I've been playing the other game style for months now so the change is very jarring. Please go back!

Before the newest update, the game was amazing! It was smooth and the perfect amount of frustrating to keep me coming back. The new update however is literally just Project Sekai- it's terrible to play, the UI is confusing, the health bar and off-rythm notes makes it impossible to actually enjoy the gameplay. This is not the same game anymore, and frankly it was changed for the worst.

The're more downfalls about the new update than I thought. I want it back to the way it was. Sure, there was a couple neat features such as the different missions and extra rewards, but, the struggle everyone mentions about upgrading cards became real. Selling the cards isn't a bad idea I would like more purpose with it. The reason why I would unstall the game until the next update is the unexpected add on with the slide up button while playing each song. I can't hit the note it ruins my score.

Season 4 is horrible!!! Change it back to the old game. The game is now CONFUSING and FRUSTRATING. The timing of the notes is off, and it's now impossible to get perfect hits. + Now when you draw cards or concept photos, it includes all of the groups. I only play for 1 group and the majority my draws are from other groups! The game mechanics changed without explanation. This game is unplayable, I've canceled my subscription

3 years of hard work down the drain. The latest update ruined the game. They did a full overhaul that erased just about everything players had acquired. Card leveling is pretty much obsolete. All groups are crammed together now. There is so much wrong, I can't even list it all. Disappointed is an understatement. We want the previous version back, not this craptacular Rhythm Hive wannabe version. Invested so much time & money for nothing. Canceled my subscription. Doubt I'll be returning to play.

I used to love this game, I would play the studio all the time, but after the update when I had to play the little chapters and then it required the discs to play the studio and ig I miss a certain amount of beats it takes me out and makes me start over and spend more disc's. The touch on the notes doesn't match the beats. It's just overall terrible and I wish it wouldn't have updated. Please bring back the old

After the recent major update, you can get the whole rhythm experience from the initial download. The main rhythm gameplay is still the main focus of the game; card packs don't automatically open, and you no longer need special cards to unlock certain songs/patterns!! The health bar that doesn't recharge is stressful - good for a challenge, horrible for immersing oneself in the rhythm.

the colors are pretty and all, but there are things that need to get removed, brought back, or kept. bring back the intro theme music (so happy and upbeat), bring back the old playing screen (the new one looks way to much like project sekai, it doesnt feel like rhythm hive) remove combined groups (some people only play for one group, and if they want to play for another, they can just switch groups). keep how easy it is to upgrade UR cards. everything else i find fine and acceptable.

I started playing Rhythm Hive almost a month ago. I made a lot of progress in the game and looked forward to playing. However, this recent update has been so confusing and has made the game unenjoyable. Now, my level dropped from 21 to 8. My chapter progress is gone. The card leveling system has completely changed, and the majority of the cards I've collected for playing don't matter in the game anymore. I feel like I wasted my time on this game. Please revert the update.

I loved this game pre s4. The maps were fun and comfortable to play, but with s4, it's not enjoyable at all. HP makes it nearly impossible for me to have fun playing in studio mode. The swipe motion is a pain to hit. There's a huge surplus of menuing (it takes forever to exit a studio song?!?) with a clunky interface. As a casual player, gameplay has become nearly impossible and frustrating. I've messed with settings, but it's just not fun anymore. I'm so close to uninstalling at this point.

Since the update, I have had the most difficult time working the new card upgrading system and have had an even more difficult time playing the game well and enjoying it. I had nearly all perfect marks on hard/super hard mode on the previous layout, and now I can't make it through a level without missing notes constantly. I wish this update had not happened.
