Its a Bird?
I've been playing for awhile and I feel like Beatstar has gone down in quality as of recent. The gameplay is fun and unique when compared to other games, but my issue is with how I need to watch ads after playing 3 maybe 4 songs. The ads will sometimes close the app or will restart it, which means I don't get the reward, playing the song, and there's no ad ready after. Even using gems for 30m of unlimited plays, didn't work. I played 1 song before it restarted and took away the 30m and my gems.

I am very addicted to this game and have been playing it since beginning of the summer, but recently I've noticed that the game has made it impossible to even get a gold on a song. and it used to not be like that. I can do perfect on a song, not miss a note whatsoever, be on beat the whole time and it'll give me a low score still. which also means less coins given to you. it's made the game less fun for sure, because it's nice to get a good score when you deserve it.

The game runs well, beautifully even. It's really well made, just like beatstar. I think that's the problem, though. It's just a re-skin of beatstar. It doesn't really add anything substantial, or anything at all, to the previous game. In fact, it even removes aspects of the game to focus on country, when beatstar really could just have more country songs

Fun, but not the best, would be better if there was a free play option that didn't cost. The limited number of plays makes me less likely to keep playing. I'm autistic an when I want to play rhythm games as a stim, not being able to just keep going and having to wait at least an hour to open a box to be able to keep playing kinda ruins it...

I loved this game and didn't mind the micro transactions. However, since the last update, this game has become increasingly worse with its bugs and tiles not registering your fingers when you tap them. It's getting to the point where I'm probably going to delete it and don't recommend anyone play unless you rejoice in experiencing sheer frustration.

Compared to other games of this genre, this one is pretty good. There's lots of popular music and it's not hard to unlock new songs to play. I also enjoy the events that give out free items with moderate playing to obtain it. The only reason I give this four stars is because of how sometimes the game doesn't register when I press a key and I lose a song or have to waste jems to continue. There's also occasional lag, but it's very rare for me. Otherwise, a good time waster for when you're bored.

Redownloaded. It got even worse somehow? The game will consistently freeze now and will still be playing audio, but the visuals completely stop. Then it comes back playing in hyper speed trying to catch up to the point it SHOULD be at before telling you that you just missed all 20 of those notes, would you like to pay a dollar to try again without going through the whole song that will probably just freeze on you again?? 👌 Holy Jesus, you don't deserve to make any money off of this trash.

This game is fun and has the potential for being good. I just wish the creators would take the time to actually fix the bugs. The amount of times it just glitches or doesn't acknowledge your taps is so frustrating! And the amount of ads! Omg! I've never played a game with so many ads. I enjoy playing when it works but that's on the rare occasion. And with so many others saying it happens to them too it can't just be all of our phones. It's the game itself.

This is a great rhythm game that fills the void you are looking for. The first few days, where I picked it up sparingly, were great. But the more I played I realized how progressively longer it becomes to unlock song. Then my next option was to see about putting money in to get songs, but the extreme gacha style of unlocking is ludicrous. Good game. Bad monetization.

This game starts out amazing and goes down hill after about a week, I get ads after every song now, and I'm noticing I can't participate in events since i don't have the songs. You already have to watch ads just to practice any decent amount of time, since there's no practice mode. Also notice it doesn't register your buttons sometimes, and there's also a weird skip or lag once in awhile. Still decent for these kind of games tho.

This is a great game with great songs and it gives you a way to change the delay. What I don't like is seeing ads after a song even though there's a dedicated option to watch ads for bonuses. Another thing is the pause button. I have tried time and time again to pause the game because my nose was itchy or something and I can't! That thing is way too small and out of the way. At least make it as big as the circle at the top of the board; that way it's easier to hit.

I am absolutely in love with this game. The best rhythm game on the play store for sure. The only thing that is making this game almost unplayable is a glitch with a double finger hit. It will some how register as one hit and the other did not and will basically screw you no matter what. It seems super random but it has caused a lot of frustration. Please fix and this will be a 5 star.

Addictive and challenging! I like it! My husband downloaded this for me mainly because I miss playing guitar hero. This game is similar, but has its own uniqueness. I've been playing for a while and have unlocked nearly 100 songs. Some are difficult, which makes it so rewarding when I get a high score. Only issues have been the constant ads. Other than that, fun game! 9/10 highly recommend

If you grew up playing Guitar Hero and want an experience as close as it can possibly get on mobile, this game is for you. Beatster has a huge collection of great songs and fun gameplay that's both rewarding and satisfying. A lot of reviews mention how the game is expensive to play. While that may be true in terms of microtransactions, it is far more expensive in how much time you'll have to sink into it if you wish to play for free. It's a grind, for sure, but a very addicting and fun one.

Love this game. It is my favorite tap song app right now. Although please know that I have had a lot of app crashing over the last 2 years. I lost a lot of progress. I recently started again and linked with super cell. But when I login with supercell, the same thing happens - the game loads halfway and stops. Nothing helps this except uninstalling and reinstalling. Not sure why

As much as I love rhythm games, this is not completely "it" . Yea it has a great music selection, and the concept of the tile tapping is nice. However; the game is very predatory in how it tries to force you to use its in-game currency microtransactions, the redos exponentially cost more. The touch sensitivity is to be desired for beat hit and note swipe. It's worth your time if you can handle the slightest microtransaction.

I've played to the point of only being able to win deluxe song cards, which take forever to accumulate. More songs need to be added for higher players like me, otherwise its almost pointless to keep playing. If you want the full experience, you'll need to pay close to $1k per year. I'd rather play royalty-free songs than pay anything more than $5/month.

Great wee game mechanics wise. Feels very much like Rock Band and is mostly responsive to haptic feedback. Songs are high quality and varied. Unfortunately, it's spoiled by the usual lootbox gambling and mobile rubbish. You need to watch ads, wait hours or stump up the cash in order to unlock more songs and even then you don't get to choose which ones. Would be better as a one off purchase with downloadable extra songs as opposed to the current time-wasting gambling-based model.
