Hungry Shark has been my go-to mobile game for years and it still held up when I installed it for the first time in a while a few months ago. There is a wide selection of sharks leading up to the famed Meg, increasing in size from the very small Blacktip. It's a very simple game that's accessible to anyone who can work a smartphone and doesn't require internet access to play. My only issue with the game is that after 5 or so minutes the health bar depletes faster than I can manage to consume, which curbs my self-competitive nature.

I actually enjoy playing this game, I give it 4 instead of 5 because it gets a little grindy when you're in the medium shark range, but if I could I'd give 4.5 because at least there are missions that give you something to do, and they give you money on top of what you earn from the level. There's also not too terribly many ads, unlike a lot of other games where they give you an ad every time you finish a level.

Glitches but fun. Not sure if it's my phone but lately this game constantly freezes up while in the menu before loading a level. During game play it seems fine, but when trying to navigate the menu it will freeze several times before I can do anything. And the option to watch an ad for a bonus or free life doesn't always register and I have to watch 2 ads or completely restart the app to continue playing. Updates might be needed!

I've re-downloaded the app and I can say that this game is still fun. But, there's this bug where it permanently removed NPCs that are in-game. Another bug is when the game doesn't play the results music. The last bug is that the game is not using SFX that is included in-game. So I'm not sure if I should re-download the app itself or just play on another device of some sort.

I love the game play and all, but one small problem. . . The ads!! I see, let's say, 3 ads a round. I get it, ads are a problem do to the lack of ad choices and all. I would give 5 star but another problem is the cost of anything. It takes about 3,000,000 coins to get a good shark or booster. It gives a great value to challenge yourself, but i lose 2brain cells after every game do to starting a strategy. Overall a good game besides the ads

I love this game, play it all the times and am always upgrading my sharks. Just recently got The Frenzy and trying to play with it is fun the first few seconds, until it becomes invisible and my screen just freezes in one spot.. while watching fish swim and birds fly. Not sure what going on, but I'm upset I spent a lot of time building coins to buy the Frenzy and my game isn't working.

Sometimes my shark loses the ability to eat, which is extremely annoying and needs to be fixed. Also all the circular lines from the coral are very annoying to look at and it makes the game look messier than it is. Maybe the lines could only appear if you are close enough to the coral for a few seconds and then fade away once you go away from the coral?

I've been playing these games for years, they're super fun! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the subtle transition when gold rush is over. You go from immune to everything to vulnerable in 1 second, and for this reason I have died many times to bombs lol. Maybe when it has a few seconds left on it the shark should flash or something? And it should be immune to damage for like 3 seconds. Just an idea, thanks for making such fun games!

the new update has really changed the game play for the worst. My son and I loved this game, but we no longer get the free ad options, or free diamonds, power ups, gold, etc. The ads just spin and spin. Customer support says they known its a problem and are working to fix it. That was nearly a month ago and it's only gotten worse. I know I've left this review before and it has disappeared. Hopefully this one stays.

Pretty absurd that the difficulty level makes the game loose all sense of fun and desire to play. Typical money hungry gimmick like most games out. I mean a shark that can't explore and dies within seconds without eating, but food (75 objects later) doesn't fill it up. Seriously folks!! Could be super cool game if I could survive long enough to actually do something. Controls seem confused half the time too. But what I expected. Well made though

Updated review: The game is still awesome....the graphics and detail of the sharks and levels. Just a word of advice: it requires a Facebook account to actually save your game, progress, purchases, everything! The Google Play just keeps your achievements only. But, after having a prior situation: the Ubisoft support team took care of it all and resolved the issue!

The game play is pretty fun, just repetitive. The problem is that the creator has chosen to trade rewards for the user watching advertisements. Not a bad trade you until recently. Lately, every advertisement is followed by an error starting the video failed to load, forcing the user to either watch another advertisement (which is often followed by the same error) or claim the original reward despite having watched the advertisement. There is never an issue with the ads. Needs to be corrected!

The game used to be great. However all the save data I had is gone, which wouldn't be too bad except now it's impossible to get it again. The splash pass ruined the game completely I suggest removing it completely and going back to where you can buy cosmetics vis coins and gems and make it so that there are base levels for gadgets too. It's pay to play and I won't waste time playing it again.

Hi! So this game is really fun and great game, and I love it to bits. I play it all the time and I really enjoy it. But, um... Does anyone else have the issue where it just... Removes the recycler cannon and the forcfield? Like, every time even so much as look away from my shark, they're gone. And it only does it with the recycler cannon and the forcfield. The laser always stay on. This isn't a super glaring issue, but it is quite annoying. Please fix!

Love this game! My kids love it. But I'm recently having a problem with my shark disappearing.. glitches have been alot lately never had a problem with the game one of the reasons why I like it so much.. also I like the fact I can play it without wifi.. we need more games like this. But glitches has to go! I need my perfect game back! Also bring back the ad options on the power-ups loved it.

It's a fantastic sequel to hungry shark evolution, but it seems to not really get the full scope of the original. The original had more sharks, cosmetics, and pets. That would be fine though if the actual maps were all as good as the original's. The original game's map was full of life, and places to explore, but the maps in this game feel flat, scattered, and isolated. If the maps were either all as in depth as the original, or connected in some way I think it would be as good as the original.

This game is pretty amazing. The graphics are good, the controls simple, and the gameplay is definitely enjoyable. It is pay to win in some areas such as the exclusive sharks and clothing, but I have gotten a special shark and worked all the way up to the megalodon without paying anything, so it's still great without them. I've played all the way through this game once before and reinstalled it for another round!

The game is fun....when I can play it. On the main screen, the shark selection screen, the loading screen or the 5-6 second mark of game play it does a freeze/skippy thing. Out of 25 times (approximately) trying to play, I was able to play 5 times. This is the 3rd straight day of this issue. If this continues much longer I'll cut my losses and uninstall. I can find something else to use my phones memory for.
