I get that ads are a part of a free game and I don't mind a quick short ad. But I am getting the same 30 second ad after every move!!! It's making the game almost unplayable. And this is why I don't participate in daily play, the ads are just too much!!! And ads where the x to close it out actually opens the advertisement, not ok.

Love the game, but it is so slow. Every time new things are added it gets slower and more glitchy. Update: it gets worse. The club I was in has disappeared, it freezes when I try to join a new club, I have to restart the game at the end of most ads. Really no longer worth wasting time with this.

I only downloaded this to play with my mother, but this is a truly horrific scrabble ripoff attempt. The amount of ads is insane, there is at least one graphical bug on every single page at any one time, some words that are ABSOLUTELY words are just missing from the database entirely, and clicking pretty much every single button on the homescreen has straight up crashed the entire app at least once. I have had this app for only 3 days. When I say horrific, I mean horrific.

You have to pay $9.99 to remove ads for only 30 days! There is no option to remove ads entirely. $9.99 is ridiculous, imo. If I'm paying that much then ads should be removed for good, not just 30 days. There are so many ads! After every move you play, there's an add. It appears they're flooding you with them in order to drive you crazy & what, pay $9.99 a month for ad free? That's a crime lol The game itself is fun, but I don't know how long I'll keep it or how often I'll play because of that.

You keep changing the game and not for the better. More ads, where is the speed round game?? And what happened to the solo challenges!? They're impossible to win!! I'm quite intelligent and wordy!! I had all vowels through one whole round, and I swapped twice. You'd have to cheat You took the fun out of it. I just don't play them, giving you a less-than-stellar review because I have very few games to play now. None of my friends want to play.

I paid money for this app many years ago. It was at a time that most apps cost $0.99, but this cost $10.99. I liked it enough to pay. I considered it a small investment. I didn't complain years later when they introduced packages for $9.99 and stopped giving good free rewards for loyalty. Against my better thoughts, I have often bought into the "premium" versions of the monthly campaigns. Yet, I am constantly met with app issues that break up my streaks. One recently set me back 6 days. No good.

I like this game. I want to keep liking it, but the devs seem to have other plans. For the first day, everything was great. Then the ads came. I have to watch an ad after every turn now. Every. Single. Turn. This is a bad business model. Devs, you're punishing me for playing your game. You can make money in your various deals and sales, and I have no issue with that. Being forced to watch an ad after every turn makes me want to stop using turns.

The monetisation in this game is truly the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. The UI is abhorrent. Its essentially pay to win. You can pay for a short period of no ads. Yes, short period. Ads are everywhere all the time. Always on screen and playing between every move. Which I can tolerate I guess. But the rest of the app leaves a bad taste in my mouth

I love this game & have been playing for 12 years. Some things improve, others get worse. They dumped Lightning Round! All of us are bummed out. It was one of the best features. They must have got a new designer bc most of the stickers are now ugly, creepy or weird. On months that I have wanted to buy premium, I press "buy" and it won't do anything. They've missed out on so many of my purchases due to continually glitchy software. The chat box has become my personal lagging nightmare.

The ads on this app have become so annoying. Many are 30 seconds++ and if you try to x out after it had finished, it takes you to the app store anyway-over and over! Ads for stupid games, other apps, and products that are just lies and scams. I have reported offensive ads and the just don't do anything to stop them. Other games such as solitaire are 5 seconds, but wwf are 30 seconds long! Very frustrating and a very bad gaming experience. Imo.

Bummed that you took lightening round away. What I don't understand is why I still have lightening round goals still showing in the achievement area. Fix this!!! It already takes too long to achieve another level. These need replaced with new goals. Why does it take your design team so long to address these issues? Approaching 12yrs, I would think I know what we all need. We should also get credit for those achievements, as we would have finished them.

Heaviest advertising I've ever seen in an app. To the point that it's almost impossible to play the game. Every time you click on something another ad that is BY DESIGN nearly impossible to avoid/click through/select any sort of 'no thanks' button. Truly terrible user experience. So yourself a favor now and pay for the real version. This one is slow, laden with push notifications, and has more inane ads than cable TV.

I will be leaving Word. It is crazy. Too much irrelevant stuff, and I believe my letters are doled out by the computer in a way that will ensure that I have to purchase more in order to win an occasional game. Also coins are often doled out or used up without my asking...in other words simply taken from me. I've had enough of losing. Not enjoying this any longer. Try creating a more adult version That doesn't require spending ever more money.

This is a great concept but horrible user experience. I get inundated with ads constantly and there are many I can't skip or even close. It's unacceptable. It also mutes my music any time an ad plays with audio. Overall just a horrible experience given the amount of ads and inability to skip them. You can find ways to monetize this app without destroying your UX.

Have to pay monthly or you're overwhelmed by all the ads. Lately it has been having glitches regularly. It locks up and you cant make a move, doesn't swap your letters although it takes the points, new games can be accepted but it won't allow you to play so game stays unplayable until it times out in a week or so. I've been playing for over 10 years and it's getting more frustrating and less fun.

Changing stars from 2 to 1. Next step is uninstall. Ads are fine, but their ads now are SO long. Many are more than 30 seconds, then you wait for the "X" to slowly appear after the entire ad, and you have to hit the "X" multiple times. For some aggressive ads, clicking it won't close the ad; it takes you to the advertiser's Play Store page. !!!HEY DEVELOPER.... Show your ads (we understand) and then let players get back to the game. Stop the nonsense.

I have played this game for years, but the number of ads there are now is simply ridiculous. There's a singular option to remove the ads that you get for basically every move you do, and the price is obscene for only a month free from ads. Honestly, I used to always stop playing and then return, but I know that this time, if I quit playing, I'm simply not going to return because of the ads. 8 years of playing down the drain I guess.

Game contantly boots me out and crashes at least once a day. Game screen bounces up and down and it makes hitting the play button harder because I hit the nav button at the bottom of the screen. I was told it was an ad issue months ago and there seems to be no urge to fix the issue on your end. About ready to quit playing. Been playing nearly 12 years.
