Description of Hyundai Bluelink Europe

[IMPORTANT: UK/Irish specification models are fitted with door deadlocks. If a vehicle is locked remotely, it must be unlocked using the key fob.]

Winner of the 2021 iF Design Award, Hyundai Bluelink Europe takes linking your smartphone to your Hyundai to another level: The new Bluelink app enhances your Hyundai driving experience even further with a whole new look and even more Connected Car features. Find your Hyundai, or use the map feature to find parking, fuelling stations, nearby restaurants, or other points-of-interest. Then simply send the destination to the navigation system in your car.

You can also use your phone as a remote to lock or unlock your car, and, if you drive a Hyundai electric vehicle, the app lets you control charging, as well as cooling or heating.

Here’s a list of our most popular connected car features:
1. Find my car: Never forget where you parked again. A map pins your Hyundai’s exact location.
2. Send to car: Find parking spaces, fuel or charging stations, restaurants or other points of interest and send the destination to your in-car navigation system.
3. Vehicle report: Monthly reviews of vehicle starts, driving and idle time, driving distance.
4. My trips: See a summary of previous trips including journey time, distance driven, average and top speeds.
5. Vehicle status: Check in on fuel or charging level, doors and windows, heat or air conditioning, and battery level and lamps.
6. Remote door lock/unlock: Lock and unlock your vehicle.
7. Remote climate control (EV only): Set the temperature and activate the air conditioning remotely.
8. Remote charging (EV & PHEV): Check and control the charging process.
9. Alarm: Receive notifications when the door locks are compromised.
10. User Profile: Save your profile and car settings to the Bluelink-Cloud for backups and transfers to a new Hyundai.
11. Valet Parking Mode (select models): Monitor your car (location, driving time, driving distance and top speed) while somebody else is driving.
12. Last Mile Navigation: If your destination can’t be reached by car, the app can take you there on foot.
13. Calendar: Sync your phone’s calendar with the app.
14. Personalisation: Turn features on and off and customise your app’s home screen.
15. Widgets: Vehicle remote and vehicle status are accessible on your phone’s lock screen without opening the app.

the app had issues over the weekend, since then it hasn't worked properly. scheduled climate and charging no longer work, which makes the app (and an ev) pointless overall.

Not a great app. Slow, unresponsive, annoying. But in the last 24 hours, it won't update the range. The app says I've 292kms, but actually I've 52kms. It makes this app utterly useless.

Keeps booting you off saying you have exceeded the limit it's rubbish also too many messages saying plugged in but not charging on the hyundai kona when it is ford connect is much better then hyundai app and that's saying something

First few months worked very well and now all of sudden just getting networks errors!. But it's good apps for the me on the busy time sheet in simple ways!

3 Stars for only half the app function which work. There are loads of features, but some are greyed out. I find this miss leading the public.

Still garbage like nearly all manufacturers, now it's simply stopped updating the widget even though it's battery setting in Android is unrestricted. Checked today, 31/08 and it last updated 19/08 - drove the car 27/08

All fine, but this app allows you to lock your car when the keys are inside the vehicle which is pretty dangerous! Also please add dark mode.

good design but too many false error messages. ie. car flagged as open when it is locked. returned to garage but awareness and support were useless.

App is getting better. Is there a way to get rid of that annoying confirmation message on start up. It's absolutely pointless. Is there a way of disabling this message

The App won't let me link my car saying it doesn't exist despite my driving it daily. If its because its a 2018 car it would be good to have an app that covers the older EV's too.

Hyundai Bayon is showing as i20. Eventhough this is very easy to fix, hyundai did not fixed this. Update: Yes it might be symbolic, but it was showing as Bayon before. It is not hard to fix as well.

A little disappointed that some remote features are missing (remore start/stop, remote climate control), having in consideration that EV models have it.

The app is good and stable most of the time. The only issue I am having is I am unable to control settings remotely like the climate control, it's all greyed out. Is there a fix for that?

Looks pretty, but functionally poor. Two ways to switch on climate from home page, but no to turn it off from same page. And too easy to switch on accidentally because it's a FAB(why?). Clicking on climate status does nothing. To switch it off, you have to go to different page, and finally there's a button. Can't hide unused features like valet mode. Sharing setup super clunky. No power info while charging Lots of funky little modal dialogs where you need to click ok. This not a PC

Installed the app exclusively to monitor charging rate/state of my vehicle. This has become relevant because I need to know when the vehicle is done charging when in EV spots that charge a fee over time once the vehicle is done charging. This is where I find the app lacking. On the dashboard in my car, it shows me how many kW it is charging with but the app does not show this information at all, this is very relevant information! Second, it keeps prompting for profile sync, which we do not want.

Generally good but with one super annoying feature! Doesn't matter how many times I check the settings it will not give me the battery level in miles only km's. Its so annoying that I have my map in miles and journey in miles but stupid km's on the app so have to keep converting. Sounds small, but is so irritating...if it was just in km then fine, but the option for miles is there. I've selected it. Why not do it???

Latest update is terrible, trip distance travelled not available on same view as kWh used and efficiency, app now locks out due to exceeding max vehicle checks even though I have not checked the allowed 10 times (this by the way is a ridiculous work around for the 12v bat issue). Please Hyundai fix the app. and reverse the latest disastrous update.

It's an appalling app. I try to use this to change my charging schedule and start charging from my solar panels when we have a surplus. Rarely works. I find myself having to cancel the scheduled charge from the car.
