The latest update for Android (early Oct. 2022) took a great little program and basically destroyed it. It is very buggy and lags when confirming prices. When achieving daily goals you have to manually close each goal rather than hitting the back button. It's not unusual to receive an error message when performing routine tasks. The option to show a specific brand of gas station has been removed for some crazy and illogical reason. Please take us back to the previous version!

Great concept but...... There is a huge bug that renders the app unusable most of the time. The advertisement that starts at the bottom of the screen slowly climbs up the screen leaving nothing but a white screen below. The only way to get past this is to fully close the app and restart. Then you only have a few minutes before it happens again. I do hope the developers fix this because I would use it every day. PS: I'm using a Samsung galaxy note 20 ultra.

Update: Now unusable. Switch to Google Maps results. Forces location even after choosing continue without. Even after temporarily turning on, it doesn't work. Used to be okay, but now it's predatory. Now it requires you to turn on sharing with Foursquare. Even if you turn it off in settings, you're forced to turn it back on next time you use the app.

This used to be a great app. Now they waste almost the entire screen trying to get you to sign up for $0.05 off, create a car profile, or enter to win. I just want a map with gas prices that I can zoom in on. The app has gone from great to almost unusable. It's not as accurate as it used to be, and the fonts are ridiculously small and hard to read.

App is constantly crashing, can't even activate a deal or look at the map for more than a few seconds before it closes. Also many times when gas prices are incorrect, I report the new price and within minutes the old price is reflected at that location once again. Super annoying! This has been going on for the past few months. App used to be great but now it's pretty useless.

The concept of this app is best for people who drive long distances in unfamiliar areas, as one doesn't know where the best prices are but has a lot of options to stop. Unfortunately, it has major problems with loading longer drives and loading in anything but perfect service. If it takes too long to load the request will fail, and that can sometimes be any drive longer than a half hour. Allowing it to load for longer or increasing speeds would grant 5 stars.

This is a good app, especially if you are using gasbuddy pay. I'm able to save quite a lot on fuel. However now party of an ad takes over the screen and it's not able to be used to locate gas stations. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It still does the same thing. I'm trying to stay optimistic that the bug will be fixed.... Update: I set location in the app to allowed all the time, and the app didn't freeze anymore. I set it back to only be allowed while the app is in use. Still good!

Has info for more stations than other apps and people keep the prices pretty up to date, but it's really frustrating that you can't filter the results to only see credit card pricing and not the cash price mixed in. The map only shows the lowest price (regardless of whether it's cash or credit, which is misleading) and the list mixes in cash with credit card results and you have to click on each station with a cash discount to see the credit card cost in order to do a real comparison. Also, sometimes it'll say there's no difference between the cash and credit card cost and the app is wrong and there's no easy way to add that info to the station (you just have to send the developer into saying that you want them to update the features of the station (i.e. add the features that there's a cash discount). There should be a way to easily fix that info on the fly so other people don't get screwed as well.

It used to work great, I was able to get the cheapest gas without having to drive far. Now, it sucks. That past 3+ weeks I have not been able to access the app. So I have to settle for the nearest station Even when I am at a wifi place, it still does not work. I've tried reinstalling, nope, nothing changed. Have to use Waze (competitor). Would give more stars, however this problem is sorta a big one

I find this app quite helpful with just finding the cheapest gas in and around my area. Others seem to have a problem with full screen ads that slowing creep up their screen with no x to make it go away. I have not experienced that. Overall the app has worked for me. If I were to travel far though I agree it would be good for the app to have a thing where it shows stations along your route.

Love the website. The app is extremely limiting or if they do include the features of the site, even the most basic features like "total cost" is missing from the app. Again if it's there, it's not straight to the point like the website shows. For that, this app gets a 1 star for being impractical for long distance travels. In the meantime I'll continue to use the website.

I have several vehicles saved on my app so that when I go somewhere it helps keep track of how many miles I get to the gallon. This is a nice feture however it does not work correctly. Every time I try to switch my vehicles up it does not let me. I also tried to delete vehicles and it does not let me do that either. I would have givin it a 5 star but not with the app still giving these issues. Aside from the drove option everything else works very well for the most part.

Crashes constantly on my S21 Ultra. Others are having the same issue, but nothing gets resolved. Click map, crash. Do that three times to see the deals. Click on a deal, crash. Do that two or three times, and you get to the activate page. Sometimes that works on the first try, and sometimes it crashes there too. I shouldn't have to navigate to the desired page 7 or 8 times. Fix your app, and I'll adjust my review.

Had this app for many years to find the cheapest gas and it was very effective. Lately it's been worthless taking me on wild goose chases. I go to a station that has the wrong price. I then change it to the correct price but within seconds it changes back to the wrong (cheaper) price again. I'd bet others are having the same issue. It'll keep the wrong price for days before someone is finally successful in changing it. Will look for another app. Very disappointed.

Not sure if I missed it somewhere, but I don't see prices by payment method. For example, it may say 3.95 in the app, but when I arrive at the station that's the cash price, not the credit price. This is an issue because not all stations add the same amount to credit prices, and some don't add anything. So an app that's supposed to find lowest prices might actually send someone to the wrong place (thus using more gas, and possibly passimg one or more stations that were cheaper on the way).

Can't even edit my profile in the app. I try to make changes, no save button or anything. Hitting back just discards changes. No way to edit and save your profile, which is pretty pathetic to be honest. A "save changes" button takes little effort to add to the UI and maybe 3 lines of code to make it work. Not having that work is just plain lazy. UI overall needs a lot work, and is a bit cumbersome. Pro: it does serve its basic function of finding cheap gas, but the other "features" need work!

My app doesn't have a "Price is Right" button, so I can not complete the challenge. The 'Confirm' button is overlapping with the text and prices on either side making it visually unpleasant. I travel quit a bit. If I want to report any prices outside of my immediate area, it questions the distance and limits my reports to within 25 miles of my home. Otherwise, the app is simple, clean, and of great help.

There are many problems with this app. The trip map view is over-cluttered with flags that don't have prices, and the trip list view does not list the cheapest stations. For example, on a trip I am on now, I can clearly see diesel at 3.08 on the map view, but on the list view, the cheapest is 3.24. That would cost me about $8 on a fill if I didn't catch it. I'd rate this app as only marginally usable with a poor UI.
