While the app is useful, it seems to have lost all ability to cast to the smart TV natively built into the app, and trying to mirror stream only results in a black screen. I would be happy to reconsider my review, but this is a fairly essential aspect of a streaming service that's completely inaccessible.

I understand the need for ads in a free app and don't mind a few. The problem is the app makes you rewatch the ads anytime you backup to a spot before the last ad marker. It doesn't care that you just watched the ads at that same marker. I shouldn't have to view a 2nd set of 5 ads at the same marker because the app doesn't remember I already watched them. This is very frustrating!

Too many ads. I can deal with some ad breaks for a free app, but several minutes of ads every single time I hit the reverse button is enough to make you say "let's go Brandon" to this app. I've watched in excess of 10 minutes of ads trying to find the spot I fell asleep during the movie, just what is wrong with y'all.

FreeVee has a great selection of ad supported movies and TV shows. The app's search function works well as does the ability to save a watch list. The streams do tend to buffer a bit, but no more than normal. If I had a complaint it would be having to watch the same ads over and over.

App won't play movies/tv. I select the show I want to watch and when I go to click on "watch show" it will turn the screen black and the time and battery status symbols on my phone will turn to the side in landscape mode, but the video will not play and the app will crash. Hulu, Netflix, Showtime, YouTube all work, but not IMDB?? Would give it 0/5 stars if I could. Apps from businesses like this shouldn't crash when trying to view their product.

Lots of potential. The only service I've found that realizes many of us simply want some good background television that kind of emulates live TV. No other streaming services have been intelligent enough to realize this. No one lets you simply shuffle a series or playlist. Not a single other service offers such an incredibly basic feature. Unfortunately, this is immediately ruined for me, as this app does not seem to support casting to Chromecast, so I will never get to use it enjoy the service

The IMDbTV library is incredible (no surprise, given Amazon's deep pockets and their sister streaming service on Amazon Prime), and if that were the end of the story, this app would get 5 stars. But the app itself has a number of serious flaws, which may be deliberate on the part of Amazon, in order to push users to subscribe to Amazon Prime. Minus 1 star for no search function. A huge library is nice, but much less valuable if you can't search for anything. Minus 1 star for no bookmarking/watchlist function. I think Amazon is missing the boat here, because bookmarks are valuable clues to users' preferences, and such data could be used to make recommendation not just for other movies, but for services and products that the company sells. They'd get that star back from me if they had an bookmarking system that would alert me when a movie or show was going to leave the system, as well as providing the usual recommendations for similar movies. And it's particularly frustrating that I can construct a watchlist on IMDb TV online (with a browser), but it isn't connected in any way at all to this app. I'm tempted to subtract another half-star for no complete lists of all TV shows or movies that we can sort in A-Z order, or by running time, but I'll refrain from doing so. Another minor annoyance is that there is no indication of how many movies or TV shows are in a given category... I had to keep scrolling and scrolling and scrolling until I reached the end. Overall, a nice app (because of the library) but with a flawed implementation that makes it much less easy to use than the top-tier streaming video apps.

It's not free, is filled with ads. 2 minutes for movie, 8 minutes + for ads, a few minutes of movie, 5++ minutes ads, repeat! Just when you get into the movie, another ad pops up without warning. I'm probably a little unkind because eventually you get to see a movie without paying any money but still, when something says free, you kind of expect it's going to be free. A few ads are to be expected but not this many ads.

YOU pay with time. You must watch ads in order to enjoy content. Fine but... I tried to watch All the ads (in advance) by fast forwarding to each "ad blip" in the timeline which works for when you want to watch the entire flick without interruption. HOWEVER, if you close the app, or phone shuts off, or you want to finish a movie at a later time, you are FORCED to watch ads AGAIN when coming back. ALSO, it has a ways to go before it can truly claim, "Premium Content" but, it's "free" right?

Please do not read early reviews. As all are horrible. Maybe they had some issues when it first came out but now it does have a search feature, it does play where you left off, idk about the cast feature, I just downloaded, but even if it doesn't, just download on your TV. Duh. It doesn't seem to have a watchlist, but at least you can search now. Minus one star for the watchlist. Ads are not bad either. 3 in a half hour show each 30s-1min long each. Idk about movies haven't gotten that far yet.

Interface has issues; ads don't always start at the beginning, and the restart button gets buried, and rewind doesn't work as described, so it just back up a few seconds. The result was watching ads just to skip the episode. uninstalled. Only getting worse over time. plays ads, just doesn't play programming.

It's a pretty solid streaming app, especially since it's free. And they've implemented a lot of what the more negative reviews suggested, like a watch list. I only wish we could watch in a pop-out window, like with YouTube or some other platforms. Half of why I wanted to watch here was to do so *while* using other apps, so it's kind of a bummer that I can't.

This app needs help! Trying to watch Leverage, it takes way longer than it should to watch one episode. It freezes, glitches, the sync is off half the time. If i can make it thru Leverage this app is gone. This is too bad b/c it has excellent choices of things to watch! Love the list... BTW this is not the first time I have tried this app. I couldn't finish another series awhile back. Guess I was being an optimist trying a second time....

Theres alot of popular movies but also lower budget/lesser known movies. What I really like is there's a lot of movies from my childhood that I'd literally forgotten about. The only thing I'd change is the category options/names. There seems to be an endless amount of scrolling involved when you are looking at a particular category. Maybe it should have more specific ones by year or something to make it less overwhelming. Otherwise, I'm definitely a fan of Freevee. Recommend it all the time!

My favorite thing about freevee is that it can't keep track of where you are on devices and sometimes even the same device. I would love to know exactly where it jumps back to in the content, but it seems to be 15 - 45 minutes or something. Through the course of trying to get back to where you were previously you end up seeing 2 - 3 commercial blocks. Coincidence? Probably not. If it weren't for that and the stupid name of "freevee" I might recommend this app to someone.

This is easily the most frustrating streaming app. It often won't pause or play and rarely saves your place in the show or the episode you were watching. It's slow and the commercials come at the most random times. It makes me not want to continue watching a show, even when I love it. I have to find the place I left off and sometimes experience multiple ad breaks while I'm doing it. Is this on purpose so we have to watch more ads? This isn't a free service if you're robbing me of my time.

How is there no search function? Who the heck makes an app for movies and TV shows with no search function? I found a 2010's show I wanted to watch and when I first started watching, commercial breaks were short, but the more I watch, the longer the commercial breaks have gotten. If you have to fast forward if you fell asleep or missed the ending, you have to watch a ton of commercials trying to get back to that spot you left off at. Also, it's the same few commercials over & over again!

This app is terrible, it's even worse on my PS5, whatever ur watching if ur trying to back out, it will start loading and freeze, the only solution is to restart the application, and it will be doing that every single time forever. U can't save a show to watch later, there's no wishlist, there's absolutely nothing. The only positive thing about this app is that they have some really decent movies and TV shows, but everything else make it terrible and frustrating.
