It's getting better. The app is still a little buggy and about 90% reliable. I wish it would work with more apps, currently it only fills in login information with one app that I know. Also with local websites it doesn't recognize that the login information is available and would like to add it to the list. So I have a bunch for 192.168.1.1 and such.

The app is great most of the time, however the text in the prompt cannot be read very often. If I am using dark mode, the prompt does not distinguish this scenario and writes text in the same shade as the background. Neither white letters on a white background nor black letters on a black background can be read. How about changing the prompt text to light green or light blue or even tan? A user must be very careful when accepting suggested because at times fields are misidentified.

I've tried over the years several other password management systems, and I have always returned to Norton because I've always trusted them the most! They are expensive to use for me, being on a fixed income and being disabled, but I've never had to worry about my safety and security with Norton nor have I ever had any problems with any of their products! Excellent in every way & without failure!

I had to change my formerly 5 star review... It's always been annoying needing to set accessibility settings again and again. But now it's even worse! I have to set accessibility settings several times a day. But even worse than all that now it doesn't really seem to work that well. I usually have to now select a user profile three or four times into it finally fills in! It's too bad, the concept is good but the application is horrible!

The app can be a pain in the arse if you're trying to use it to open desktop manager. It sends a new request every time you open a new tab with chrome. Easier to open vault on desktop? Not really. Quicker to use the plug in. I can't seem to make it work with auto-filling passwords with apps on android. Update 7-2022. The app has gotten significantly better since I wrote that review. The new tab bug is fixed and it will actually let you auto-fill apps now; whereas it couldn't before.

Constant moving target. Been with Norton since days before Symantec. I want 2 things and both are subject to being unavailable every time I try to use them. I want a rock solid AV and that seems to be working. The other thing I wanted was a password manager and it only works for little more than half my credentials. I've given Norton a pass for years thinking the problems were created by the application software. But after 3-4 years you would think it would get resolved.

I, like Colleen, now have the same problem. I've been a Norton customer for over 10 years and this is the first time I've ever had a problem with their product. Website names are English, but login and passwords are all in Chinese. I've tried logging in with a password, fingerprint and pin with no luck. Uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. Very frustrating! Update: It's been five weeks with no progress on a resolution. I was refunded half of my annual subscription amount though.

Norton lost my password vault. Do not trust them with any of your data. I had been using for a few years, then all of a sudden they lost it. The help desk is a blackhole with no knowledge. Thier answer to every problem is to uninstall and reinstall the app. It's not an app problem, it's a backend problem. There is no way to escalate, and they blame all problems on you.

overall, this is a great app for storing your passwords. it helps to strengthen your passwords and installs across mobile and desktop environments. the only issue I have is that the password fill feature works best on the Windows desktop and doesn't work consistently on my android devices. I gave it a four out of five because of that. I will definitely keep the app, they keep making improvements.

And around I go!! After multiple installs, Uninstalls, and reinstalls, I always end up in the same places. One device won't work without having a secondary device, constantly needing to verify passwords on each feature of the program. I have spent multiple hours on the phone with Norton, Microsoft and Windows 10 technicians, each of which point me in the direction of someone else. In the mean time, my devices are never fully secured using this program.

The App does keep my online experience more secure, however it would appear the Pin is not secure enough because it keeps getting removed as an option after I set it up. However, the password appears to have been consistently secure. The weak area is when I phone into an automated phone system. The dial pad that controls the options. When I call in, an automated virtual assistant says : "Press 1 for this, Press 2 for that, Press 3 .." This system fails at times. I turn phone off/on to clear it.

I've had this feature for several years. It is a very good app, w/ a couple of exceptions. You MUST remember the ORIGINAL "Vault" p/w, always! (even if pin # is used for convenience or, suprisingly, when you change the p/w?). And, sometimes, when hitting the back button (e.g. see previous page of the website page) it will take you straight back to "Log in" again. That can be frustrating.

Very dependable, but some websites now ask for the login ID first and the password on the next page, which causes some confusion. Norton is working to get passwords to work with with smart phone apps but still has some improvements to make. To be safe, you need to copy the password before signing into an app so it can be pasted into the appropriate place.

The app is generally very useful. I really like how it integrates with my computer's web browser to sync logins, and how I can log into my vault with phone push notifications rather than having to enter the password. However, push notifications are sometimes significantly delayed on wifi. Integration with some Android apps also doesn't work reliably. One feature suggestion: it would be really nice if the app alerted you to data breaches on saved accounts.

In today's world of endless logins, passwords. pass keys, pins a little and more, a safe place to save passwords is a necessity. Norton's Password Manager (NPM) fits the bill. Simple to use, all I have to remember is 2 logins, fewer if I use the app on my phone as it can utilize fingerprint and facial recognition. But I don't just need an app. I can login from any computer. Love it. I have over 120 passwords saved.

Latest update seems to have fixed most issues. I don't like that I have to enter my password a 3rd time just ( even after 9\30\20 update ) to create a pin! I have different passwords for every site so having NPM is such a fantastic help. And it will create passwords with options you can select. We have been using Symantec\Norton literally ( since 1989 ) for decades. Mind you, nothing is perfect.👍

This app works good on a PC browser. I like the password generator feature. On an Android, I don't recommend the fingerprint reader option. It doesn't work if your hands have recently been washed or anything else about your skin isn't exactly right. I tried turning it off but it won't stay turned off. Otherwise a good app.

First impressions are excellent. The UI is clean, intuitive, and functional with little or no learning curve. It does what I loved about LastPass before their developers "improved" the product to the point of creating more frustration than it aliviated. I hope to be upgrading my assessment to 5 stars if the app confirm my initial reaction to be accurate. 👍
